Ezekiel 3
1 Then said he unto me, Son of man What thou findest, eat, —eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
౧ఆయన నాతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నరపుత్రుడా, నీకు కనిపించిన దాన్ని తిను! ఈ పత్రాన్ని తిను. ఆ తరువాత ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల దగ్గరికి వెళ్లి వాళ్ళతో మాట్లాడు”
2 So I opened my mouth, —and he caused me to eat this roll.
౨దాంతో నేను నోరు తెరిచాను. ఆయన నాకు ఆ పత్రాన్ని తినిపించాడు.
3 Then said he unto me Son of man. Thy belly, cause thou to eat and thy bowels, fill thou with this roll which I am giving unto thee. So I did eat, and it became in my mouth, as honey for sweetness.
౩తరువాత ఆయన నాతో “నరపుత్రుడా, నేను ఇస్తున్న ఈ పత్రాన్ని ఆహారంగా తీసుకో. దాంతో నీ కడుపు నింపుకో” అన్నాడు. కాబట్టి నేను ఆ పత్రాన్ని తిన్నాను. అది నా నోటిలో తేనెలా తియ్యగా ఉంది.
4 Then said he unto me, — Son of man Go get thee unto the house of Israel, and thou shalt speak with my words, unto them.
౪అప్పుడు ఆయన నాతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల దగ్గరికి వెళ్లి నా మాటలు వారికి చెప్పు.
5 For not unto a people deep of lip and heavy of tongue, art thou sent —[but] unto the house of Israel:
౫అపరిచితమైన మాటలు పలికే వాళ్ళ దగ్గరకో, కఠినమైన భాష మాట్లాడే వాళ్ళ దగ్గరకో నిన్ను పంపించడం లేదు. ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల దగ్గరకే నిన్ను పంపిస్తున్నాను.
6 not unto many peoples deep of lip and heavy of tongue, whose words thou couldst not understand, —surely if unto them I had sent thee, they would have hearkened unto thee.
౬నువ్వు వెళ్తున్నది నీకు అర్థం కాకుండా విచిత్రంగా పలికే బలమైన దేశం కాదు. లేదా కఠినమైన భాష మాట్లాడే దేశమూ కాదు! అలాంటి వాళ్ళ దగ్గరకి నిన్ను పంపితే వాళ్ళు నీ మాటలు వింటారు!
7 But the house of Israel will not be willing to hearken unto thee, for they are not willing to hearken unto me, —for all the house of Israel are bold of forehead and hard of heart.
౭కానీ ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు నీ మాటలు వినడానికి ఇష్టపడరు. ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళు నా మాటలు వినడానికి ఇష్టపడటం లేదు.
8 Lo! I have made thy face bold like as their faces, and thy forehead bold like as their forehead.
౮ఇలా చూడు! నీ ముఖాన్ని వాళ్ళ ముఖాల్లాగే మూర్ఖంగానూ నీ నుదురును వాళ్ళ నుదుళ్ళ లాగే కఠినంగానూ చేశాను.
9 As an adamant harder than flint, have I made thy forehead, —thou shalt not fear them neither shalt thou be dismayed at their faces, For a perverse house, they are!
౯నీ నుదురును వజ్రంలా చేశాను. దాన్ని చెకుముకి రాయి కంటే కఠినంగా చేశాను. వాళ్ళు తిరగబడే జాతి అని వాళ్ళకి నువ్వు భయపడకు. వాళ్ళ ముఖాలు చూసి నిరుత్సాహపడవద్దు.”
10 Then said he unto me, — Son of man. All my words which I shall speak unto thee, receive thou into thy heart and in thine ears, hear thou:
౧౦తరువాత ఆయన నాకు ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నరపుత్రుడా, నేను నీకు చెప్పే మాటలను చెవులారా విను. వాటిని నీ మనసులో ఉంచుకో.
11 then go get thee unto them of the captivity, unto the sons of thy people, and thou shalt speak unto them and say unto them, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear.
౧౧తరువాత చెరలో బందీలుగా ఉన్న నీ ప్రజల దగ్గరకి వెళ్లి వాళ్ళతో మాట్లాడు. వాళ్లకి ‘ప్రభువైన యెహోవా చెప్తున్నాడు’ అంటూ ప్రకటించు.”
12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the sound of a great rushing, — Blessed be the glory of Yahweh. From his place!
౧౨అప్పుడు దేవుని ఆత్మ నన్ను పైకి తీసుకువెళ్ళాడు. నా వెనక “యెహోవా మహిమకు ఆయన నివాస స్థలంలో స్తుతి కలుగు గాక” అనే స్వరం వినిపించింది. ఆ స్వరం ఒక మహా భూకంపం వచ్చినట్టుగా వినిపించింది.
13 Yea the sound of the wings of the living ones, gently touching each other, and the sound of the wheels, along with them, even the sound of a great rushing.
౧౩అంటే ఆ జీవుల రెక్కలు ఒక దానికొకటి తగులుతుంటే వచ్చిన శబ్దమూ, ఆ చక్రాలు కదిలినప్పుడు కలిగిన చప్పుడూ, ఒక మహా భూకంపం వచ్చినప్పుడు కలిగే శబ్దమూ నాకు వినిపించాయి.
14 So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away, —and I went bitterly, in the rage of my spirit, but the hand of Yahweh upon me was strong.
౧౪దేవుని ఆత్మ నన్ను పైకి లేపి తీసుకు వెళ్ళాడు. యెహోవా హస్తం నన్ను తీవ్రంగా బలవంతం చేయడంతో నేను తీవ్రమైన ఉద్వేగానికి లోనై బయలుదేరాను!
15 Thus came I unto them of the captivity, at Tel-abib. who were dwelling towards he river Chebar and I dwelt where They were dwelling; yea I dwelt there seven days, stunned in their midst,
౧౫అలా నేను కెబారు నది దగ్గర తేలాబీబు అనే స్థలానికి వెళ్ళాను. అక్కడ బందీలుగా వచ్చిన కొందరు నివాసముంటున్నారు. అక్కడే నేను ఏడు రోజులు దిగ్భ్రమతో నిండి ఉండిపోయాను.
16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying
౧౬ఆ ఏడు రోజులు గడచిన తరువాత యెహోవా వాక్కు నా దగ్గరికి వచ్చింది. ఆయన నాకిలా చెప్పాడు.
17 Son of man, A watchman, have I appointed thee to the house of Israel, —and thou shalt hear, at my mouth a message, and shalt warn them from me.
౧౭“నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకు నిన్ను కాపలా వాడిగా పెట్టాను. కాబట్టి నా నోటి మాట జాగ్రత్తగా విను. వాళ్లకి నా హెచ్చరిక తెలియచెయ్యి!
18 When I say to the lawless man— Thou shalt surely die, and thou hast not given him warning, neither hast spoken to warn the lawless man from his lawless way, to save himself alive the same lawless man in his iniquity shall die, but his blood, at thy hand, will I require.
౧౮ఒక దుర్మార్గుడికి ‘నువ్వు కచ్చితంగా చస్తావు’ అని నేను చెప్పినప్పుడు నువ్వు వాడికి ముందు జాగ్రత్త చెప్పక పోయినా, వాడు బతికి ఉండటానికి తన దుర్మార్గపు పనులను విడిచిపెట్టాలని వాణ్ణి హెచ్చరించక పోయినా వాడు తన పాపాలను బట్టి తప్పకుండా చస్తాడు. కానీ వాడి రక్తానికి నిన్ను జవాబుదారీని చేస్తాను.
19 Whereas when thou hast warned a lawless man, and he hath not turned from his lawlessness and from his lawless way he in his iniquity shall die, but Thou hast delivered thine own soul.
౧౯అయితే ఒకవేళ నువ్వు ఆ దుర్మార్గుణ్ణి హెచ్చరించినప్పుడు వాడు తన దుర్మార్గతను వదిలిపెట్టకుండా పాపాలు చేస్తూనే ఉంటే వాడు తన పాపాల మూలంగానే చస్తాడు. కానీ నువ్వు తప్పించుకుంటావు.
20 And when a righteous man hath turned from his righteousness, and committed perversity, and I have suffered a stumbling- block to be laid before him he shall die, —though thou hast not warned him, in his sin, shall he die, neither shall be remembered his righteous deeds which he hath done, but his blood, at thy hand will I require;
౨౦నీతి గలవాడు తన నీతిని విడిచిపెట్టి అన్యాయంగా ప్రవర్తిస్తే నేను వాడి ఎదుట ఒక ఆటంకాన్ని ఉంచుతాను. అతణ్ణి నువ్వు హెచ్చరించలేదు కాబట్టి అతడు చనిపోతాడు. అతడు తన పాపంలోనే చనిపోతాడు. అతడు నీతిగా జరిగించిన పనులను నేను ససేమిరా జ్ఞాపకానికి తెచ్చుకోను. కానీ వాడి రక్తానికి నిన్ను జవాబుదారీని చేస్తాను.
21 whereas when Thou hast warned a righteous man. That a righteous man must not sin and he hath not sinned, he shall surely live in that he took warning, and thou hast delivered thine own soul.
౨౧ఒకవేళ నీతిగల వాణ్ణి పాపం చేయ వద్దని నువ్వు హెచ్చరిక చేస్తే, ఆ హెచ్చరికను బట్టి అతడు పాపం చేయకుండా ఉంటే అతడు తప్పకుండా బతుకుతాడు. నువ్వూ తప్పించుకుంటావు.”
22 Then came upon me there the hand of Yahweh, —and he said unto me, Arise go forth into the valley, and there, will I speak with thee.
౨౨అక్కడ యెహోవా హస్తం నాపై ఉంది. ఆయన నాతో ఇలా అన్నాడు. “నువ్వు లే, మైదాన ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్ళు. అక్కడ నేను నీతో మాట్లాడుతాను.”
23 So I arose and went forth into the valley, and lo! there the glory of Yahweh, standing, like the glory which I saw by the river Chebar, -and I fell upon my face.
౨౩నేను లేచి మైదాన ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్ళాను. కెబారు నదీ ప్రాంతంలో నేను చూసిన యెహోవా తేజస్సు అక్కడ ఉంది. కాబట్టి నేను సాష్టాంగపడ్డాను.
24 Then the Spirit entered into me, and caused me to stand upon my feet, —and he spake with me and said unto me, Go in shut thyself up, in the midst of thine own house,
౨౪అప్పుడు దేవుని ఆత్మ నా దగ్గరకి వచ్చి నన్ను లేపి నిల్చోబెట్టాడు. అప్పుడు ఆయన నాతో ఇలా మాట్లాడాడు.
25 And thou—O son of man, lo! they have put upon thee bands, and they will bind thee therewith, -. so that thou go not forth in their midst;
౨౫“నరపుత్రుడా, నువ్వు వాళ్ళ మధ్యకి వెళ్ళకుండా వాళ్ళు వచ్చి నీపై తాళ్ళు వేసి నిన్ను బంధిస్తారు. అందుకే నువ్వు వెళ్ళి నీ ఇంట్లో తలుపులు వేసుకుని ఉండు.
26 thy tongue also, will I cause to cleave unto the roof of thy mouth, so shalt thou be dumb and not be to them a reprover, — For a perverse house, they are!
౨౬వాళ్ళు తిరగబడే ప్రజలు కాబట్టి నువ్వు వాళ్ళని గద్దించకుండా నేను నీ నాలుకను నీ నోట్లో అంగిలికి అంటుకుపోయేలా చేస్తాను. నువ్వు మౌనంగా ఉంటావు.
27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, —He that is minded to hear, let him hear, And he that is minded to forbear, let him forbear! For a perverse house, they are!
౨౭కానీ నేను నీతో మాట్లాడుతాను. వాళ్లకి ‘ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్పాడు’ అని నువ్వు చెప్పడానికి నీ నోరు తెరుస్తాను. వాళ్ళు తిరుగుబాటు చేసే జనం కాబట్టి వినేవాడు వింటాడు. విననివాడు వినకుండానే ఉంటాడు.”
