Ezekiel 3
1 Then said he unto me, Son of man What thou findest, eat, —eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
അവൻ എന്നോടു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ കാണുന്നതു തിന്നുക: ഈ ചുരുൾ തിന്നിട്ടു ചെന്നു യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തോടു സംസാരിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
2 So I opened my mouth, —and he caused me to eat this roll.
ഞാൻ വായ്തുറന്നു, അവൻ ആ ചുരുൾ എനിക്കു തിന്മാൻ തന്നു എന്നോടു:
3 Then said he unto me Son of man. Thy belly, cause thou to eat and thy bowels, fill thou with this roll which I am giving unto thee. So I did eat, and it became in my mouth, as honey for sweetness.
മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ഈ ചുരുൾ നീ വയറ്റിൽ ആക്കി ഉദരം നിറെക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ അതു തിന്നു; അതു വായിൽ തേൻപോലെ മധുരമായിരുന്നു.
4 Then said he unto me, — Son of man Go get thee unto the house of Israel, and thou shalt speak with my words, unto them.
പിന്നെ അവൻ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക.
5 For not unto a people deep of lip and heavy of tongue, art thou sent —[but] unto the house of Israel:
അവ്യക്തവാക്കും കനത്ത നാവും ഉള്ള ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ അല്ല, യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലത്രേ നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നതു;
6 not unto many peoples deep of lip and heavy of tongue, whose words thou couldst not understand, —surely if unto them I had sent thee, they would have hearkened unto thee.
അവ്യക്തവാക്കും കനത്ത നാവും ഉള്ളവരായി, നിനക്കു വാക്കു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത അനേകം ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കലല്ല; അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയച്ചെങ്കിൽ അവർ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
7 But the house of Israel will not be willing to hearken unto thee, for they are not willing to hearken unto me, —for all the house of Israel are bold of forehead and hard of heart.
യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമോ നിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു മനസ്സില്ലല്ലോ; യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും കടുത്ത നെറ്റിയും കഠിനഹൃദയവും ഉള്ളവരത്രെ.
8 Lo! I have made thy face bold like as their faces, and thy forehead bold like as their forehead.
എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മുഖം അവരുടെ മുഖത്തിന്നു നേരെ കഠിനവും നിന്റെ നെറ്റി അവരുടെ നെറ്റിക്കു നേരെ കടുപ്പവും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 As an adamant harder than flint, have I made thy forehead, —thou shalt not fear them neither shalt thou be dismayed at their faces, For a perverse house, they are!
ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നെറ്റി തീക്കല്ലിനെക്കാൾ കടുപ്പമുള്ള വജ്രംപോലെ ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമെങ്കിലും നീ അവരെ പേടിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നോട്ടം കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിക്കയുമരുതു.
10 Then said he unto me, — Son of man. All my words which I shall speak unto thee, receive thou into thy heart and in thine ears, hear thou:
അവൻ പിന്നെയും എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേട്ടു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ കൈക്കൊൾക.
11 then go get thee unto them of the captivity, unto the sons of thy people, and thou shalt speak unto them and say unto them, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear.
നീ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിൻ പുത്രന്മാരായ പ്രവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, അവർ കേട്ടാലും കേൾക്കാഞ്ഞാലും അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറക.
12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the sound of a great rushing, — Blessed be the glory of Yahweh. From his place!
അപ്പോൾ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ എടുത്തു: യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം സ്വസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നു ഞാൻ വലിയ മുഴക്കത്തോടെ ഒരു ശബ്ദം എന്റെ പിറകിൽ കേട്ടു.
13 Yea the sound of the wings of the living ones, gently touching each other, and the sound of the wheels, along with them, even the sound of a great rushing.
ജീവികളുടെ ചിറകു തമ്മിൽ തട്ടുന്ന ഒച്ചയും അവയുടെ അരികെയുള്ള ചക്രങ്ങളുടെ ഇരെച്ചലും വലിയ മുഴക്കമുള്ളോരു ശബ്ദവും ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.
14 So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away, —and I went bitterly, in the rage of my spirit, but the hand of Yahweh upon me was strong.
ആത്മാവു എന്നെ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോയി; ഞാൻ വ്യസനത്തോടും മനസ്സിന്റെ ഉഷ്ണത്തോടും കൂടെ പോയി, യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ശക്തിയോടെ എന്റെമേൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
15 Thus came I unto them of the captivity, at Tel-abib. who were dwelling towards he river Chebar and I dwelt where They were dwelling; yea I dwelt there seven days, stunned in their midst,
അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ കെബാർനദീതീരത്തു പാർത്ത തേൽ-ആബീബിലെ പ്രവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ, അവർ പാർത്തെടത്തുതന്നേ എത്തി, അവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഏഴു ദിവസം സ്തംഭിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പാർത്തു.
16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying
ഏഴു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
17 Son of man, A watchman, have I appointed thee to the house of Israel, —and thou shalt hear, at my mouth a message, and shalt warn them from me.
മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്നു കാവല്ക്കാരനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു വചനം കേട്ടു എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അവരെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കേണം.
18 When I say to the lawless man— Thou shalt surely die, and thou hast not given him warning, neither hast spoken to warn the lawless man from his lawless way, to save himself alive the same lawless man in his iniquity shall die, but his blood, at thy hand, will I require.
ഞാൻ ദുഷ്ടനോടു: നീ മരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ നീ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിക്കയോ ദുഷ്ടനെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ തന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗം വിടുവാൻ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും ഒന്നും പറകയോ ചെയ്യാഞ്ഞാൽ, ദുഷ്ടൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ മരിക്കും; അവന്റെ രക്തമോ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.
19 Whereas when thou hast warned a lawless man, and he hath not turned from his lawlessness and from his lawless way he in his iniquity shall die, but Thou hast delivered thine own soul.
എന്നാൽ നീ ദുഷ്ടനെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടും അവൻ തന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതയും ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗവും വിട്ടുതിരിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ മരിക്കും; നീയോ നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
20 And when a righteous man hath turned from his righteousness, and committed perversity, and I have suffered a stumbling- block to be laid before him he shall die, —though thou hast not warned him, in his sin, shall he die, neither shall be remembered his righteous deeds which he hath done, but his blood, at thy hand will I require;
അഥവാ, നീതിമാൻ തന്റെ നീതി വിട്ടുമാറി നീതികേടു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാൻ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടർച്ച വെക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവൻ മരിക്കും; നീ അവനെ ഓർപ്പിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തന്റെ പാപത്തിൽ മരിക്കും; അവൻ ചെയ്ത നീതി അവന്നു കണക്കിടുകയുമില്ല; അവന്റെ രക്തമോ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും.
21 whereas when Thou hast warned a righteous man. That a righteous man must not sin and he hath not sinned, he shall surely live in that he took warning, and thou hast delivered thine own soul.
എന്നാൽ നീതിമാൻ പാപം ചെയ്യാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ നീതിമാനെ ഓർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ പാപം ചെയ്യാതെ ഇരുന്നാൽ, അവൻ പ്രബോധനം കൈക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയാൽ അവൻ ജീവിക്കും; നീയും നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
22 Then came upon me there the hand of Yahweh, —and he said unto me, Arise go forth into the valley, and there, will I speak with thee.
യഹോവയുടെ കൈ അവിടെ പിന്നെയും എന്റെമേൽ വന്നു; അവൻ എന്നോടു: നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സമഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോക; അവിടെവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
23 So I arose and went forth into the valley, and lo! there the glory of Yahweh, standing, like the glory which I saw by the river Chebar, -and I fell upon my face.
അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സമഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോയി; ഞാൻ കെബാർനദീതീരത്തു കണ്ട മഹത്വംപോലെ അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു ഞാൻ കവിണ്ണുവീണു.
24 Then the Spirit entered into me, and caused me to stand upon my feet, —and he spake with me and said unto me, Go in shut thyself up, in the midst of thine own house,
അപ്പോൾ ആത്മാവു എന്നിൽ വന്നു എന്നെ നിവർന്നുനില്ക്കുമാറാക്കി, എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: നീ ചെന്നു നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തു കതകടെച്ചു പാർക്ക.
25 And thou—O son of man, lo! they have put upon thee bands, and they will bind thee therewith, -. so that thou go not forth in their midst;
എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിനക്കു അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പെരുമാറുവാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം അവർ നിന്നെ കയറുകൊണ്ടു കെട്ടും.
26 thy tongue also, will I cause to cleave unto the roof of thy mouth, so shalt thou be dumb and not be to them a reprover, — For a perverse house, they are!
നീ ഊമനായി അവർക്കു ശാസകനാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാവിനെ നിന്റെ അണ്ണാക്കോടു പറ്റുമാറാക്കും; അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.
27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, —He that is minded to hear, let him hear, And he that is minded to forbear, let him forbear! For a perverse house, they are!
ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വായ് തുറക്കും; നീ അവരോടു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറയേണം; കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ; കേൾക്കാത്തവൻ കേൾക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവർ മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ.
