Ezekiel 25
1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá wí pé:
2 Son of man Set thy face against the sons of Ammon, — and prophesy against them.
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, kọ ojú rẹ sí àwọn ará Ammoni kí ó sì sọ àsọtẹ́lẹ̀ sí wọn.
3 So then thou shalt say to the sons of Ammon, Hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh: Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh: Because thou saidst Aha! Against my sanctuary when it was profaned. And against the soil of Israel when it was laid waste, And against the house of Judah when they went into exile.
Sì wí fún àwọn ará Ammoni pé, ‘Ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa Olódùmarè tí ó wí pé. Nítorí tí ìwọ wí pé, “Á hà!” Sí ibi mímọ́ mi nígbà tí ó di àìlọ́wọ̀ àti sí orí ilẹ̀ Israẹli nígbà tí ó di ahoro; àti sí ilẹ̀ Juda, nígbà tí wọ́n lọ sí ìgbèkùn,
4 Therefore, behold me! delivering thee up to the Sons of the East for a possession And they shall set their encampments in thee, And place in thee their habitations, They, shall eat thy fruits, And they, shall drink thy milk;
kíyèsi i, nítorí náà ni èmi yóò fi fi ọ lé àwọn ènìyàn ìlà-oòrùn lọ́wọ́ ni ohun ìní. Wọn yóò sì gbé ààfin wọn kalẹ̀ nínú rẹ, wọn yóò sì gbé ibùgbé wọn nínú rẹ, wọn yóò jẹ èso rẹ, wọn yóò sì mu wàrà rẹ.
5 And I will make of Rabbah a home for camels, And the sons of Ammon a couching-place for flocks, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
Èmi yóò sì sọ Rabba di ibùjẹ, fún àwọn ìbákasẹ àti àwọn ọmọ Ammoni di ibùsùn fún agbo ẹran. Nígbà náà ni ẹ̀yin yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.
6 For, thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because thou didst clap thy hands and stamp with thy foot, —and didst rejoice with all thy contempt in thy soul, against the soil of Israel.
Nítorí báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí. Nítorí pé ìwọ pàtẹ́wọ́, ìwọ sì jan ẹsẹ̀ mọ́lẹ̀, tí ìwọ ń yọ̀ pẹ̀lú gbogbo àrankàn rẹ sí ilẹ̀ Israẹli
7 Therefore behold me! I have stretched out my hand over thee And will deliver thee for a prey to the nations, And will cut thee off from among the peoples, And will cause thee to perish from among the lands, — I will destroy thee, So shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh.
nítorí náà, èmi yóò na ọwọ́ mi lé ọ, èmi yóò sì fi ọ fún àwọn aláìkọlà fún ìkógun. Èmi yóò sì gé ọ kúrò láàrín àwọn ènìyàn, èmi yóò sì jẹ́ kí o parun kúrò ni ilẹ̀ gbogbo. Èmi yóò sì pa ọ́ run, ìwọ yóò sì mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa.’”
8 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Lo! like all the nations, is the house of Judah.
“Báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: ‘Nítorí pé Moabu àti Seiri sọ wí pé, “Wò ó, ilé Juda ti dàbí gbogbo àwọn kèfèrí,”
9 Therefore, behold me! laying open the side of Moab out of the cities, Out of his cities on his frontiers, The beauty of the land of Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim:
nítorí náà, Èmi yóò ṣí Moabu sílẹ̀ láti àwọn ìlú gbogbo tí ó wà ní ààlà rẹ̀, ògo ilẹ̀ náà, Beti-Jeṣimoti, Baali-Meoni àti Kiriataimu.
10 To the Sons of the East [when they come] against the sons of Ammon, and I will deliver it up for possession, -to the end the sons of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations:
Èmi yóò fi Moabu pẹ̀lú àwọn ará Ammoni lé àwọn ènìyàn ìlà-oòrùn ní ìní, kí a má bà á lè rántí àwọn ará Ammoni láàrín orílẹ̀-èdè gbogbo.
11 Also upon Moab, will I execute judgments, - So shall they know that I, am Yahweh.
Èmi yóò sì mú ìdájọ́ sẹ sí Moabu lára, wọn yóò sì mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa.’”
12 Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Because of what Edom hath done, in taking vengeance on the house of Judah, so that they have become guilty again and again and have taken vengeance upon them,
“Báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí pé: ‘Nítorí pé Edomu gbẹ̀san lára ilé Juda, ó sì jẹ̀bi gidigidi nípa ṣíṣe bẹ́ẹ̀,
13 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, I will therefore stretch forth my hand over Edom, and will cut off therefrom man and beast, And will deliver it up as a desolation, from Teman, And they of Dedan, by the sword, shall fall,
nítorí náà báyìí ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí pé: Èmi yóò na ọwọ́ mi sórí Edomu èmi yóò sì pa àwọn ènìyàn àti àwọn ẹranko rẹ̀. Èmi yóò fi ṣófo láti Temani dé Dedani yóò ti ipa idà ṣubú.
14 And I will put forth mine avenging against Edom, by the hand of my people Israel, And they shall deal with Edom, according to mine anger and according to mine indignation, - So shall they know mine avenging, Declareth My Lord. Yahweh,
Èmi yóò gbẹ̀san lára Edomu láti ọwọ́ àwọn ènìyàn mi Israẹli, wọn sì ṣe sí Edomu gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìbínú àti ìrunú mi, wọn yóò mọ̀ ìgbẹ̀san mi ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí.’”
15 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because of what the Philistines have done by way of vengeance, - In that they have taken vengeance with contempt in the soul, to destroy, with the enmity of age-past times.
“Báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí pé: ‘Nítorí tí àwọn ará Filistini hùwà ẹ̀san tí wọ́n sì gbẹ̀san pẹ̀lú odì ní ọkàn wọn, àti pẹ̀lú ìkórìíra gbangba àtijọ́ ní wíwá ọ̀nà láti pa Juda run,
16 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! stretching forth my hand over the Philistines, And I will cut off the Cherethim, — And will cause to perish the remnant of the coast of the sea;
nítorí náà báyìí ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí pé, “Èmi ti ṣetán láti na ọwọ́ mi jáde sí àwọn ará Filistini, èmi yóò sì ké àwọn ará Kereti kúrò, èmi yóò sì pa àwọn tí ó kù ní etí kún run.
17 And I will execute upon them great vengeance, with rebukes of indignation: shall they know that I am Yahweh, when I put forth mine avenging against them.
Èmi yóò sì gbẹ̀san ńlá lára wọn nípa ìbáwí gbígbóná; wọn yóò sì mọ̀ wí pé, Èmi ni Olúwa. Nígbà tí èmi yóò gba ẹ̀san lára wọn.”’”
