Ezekiel 25
1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
Có lời Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng:
2 Son of man Set thy face against the sons of Ammon, — and prophesy against them.
Hỡi con người, hãy xây mặt về con cái Am-môn, và nói tiên tri nghịch cùng chúng nó.
3 So then thou shalt say to the sons of Ammon, Hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh: Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh: Because thou saidst Aha! Against my sanctuary when it was profaned. And against the soil of Israel when it was laid waste, And against the house of Judah when they went into exile.
Hãy nói cùng con cái Am-môn rằng: Hãy nghe lời của Chúa Giê-hô-va. Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vì ngươi có nói rằng: Hay! hay! về nơi thánh ta, khi nó bị ô uế, về đất Y-sơ-ra-ên, khi nó bị làm nên hoang vu, cùng về nhà Giu-đa, khi nó bị bắt làm phu tù,
4 Therefore, behold me! delivering thee up to the Sons of the East for a possession And they shall set their encampments in thee, And place in thee their habitations, They, shall eat thy fruits, And they, shall drink thy milk;
bởi cớ đó, nầy, ta sẽ phó ngươi cho các con cái phương đông làm cơ nghiệp. Chúng nó sẽ đóng trại giữa ngươi, và cất nhà mình ở đó; chúng nó sẽ ăn trái ngươi và uống sữa ngươi.
5 And I will make of Rabbah a home for camels, And the sons of Ammon a couching-place for flocks, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
Ta sẽ khiến Ra-ba làm chuồng lạc đà, và con cái Am-môn làm chỗ bầy vật nằm, thì các ngươi sẽ biết ta là Đức Giê-hô-va.
6 For, thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because thou didst clap thy hands and stamp with thy foot, —and didst rejoice with all thy contempt in thy soul, against the soil of Israel.
Vì Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: bởi ngươi đã vỗ tay, đập chân, đầy lòng khinh dể và vui vẻ về đất Y-sơ-ra-ên,
7 Therefore behold me! I have stretched out my hand over thee And will deliver thee for a prey to the nations, And will cut thee off from among the peoples, And will cause thee to perish from among the lands, — I will destroy thee, So shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh.
bởi cớ đó, nầy, ta đã giá tay ta trên ngươi. Ta sẽ phó ngươi làm mồi cho các nước; ta sẽ trừ ngươi ra khỏi các dân; ta sẽ diệt ngươi khỏi các nước; ta sẽ hủy hoại ngươi, và ngươi sẽ biết ta là Đức Giê-hô-va.
8 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Lo! like all the nations, is the house of Judah.
Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vì Mô-áp và Sê-i-rơ có nói rằng: Nầy, nhà Giu-đa cũng như các nước khác,
9 Therefore, behold me! laying open the side of Moab out of the cities, Out of his cities on his frontiers, The beauty of the land of Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim:
bởi cớ đó, nầy, ta sẽ phá các thành của bờ cõi người Mô-áp, tức là hết thảy các thành trong đất chúng nó làm vinh hiển cho xứ ấy, là thành Bết-Giê-si-mốt, thành Ba-anh-Mê-ôn, và thành Ki-ri-a-ta-im.
10 To the Sons of the East [when they come] against the sons of Ammon, and I will deliver it up for possession, -to the end the sons of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations:
Ta sẽ phó xứ nầy và xứ của người Am-môn cho các con trai phương đông. Ta sẽ ban những xứ nầy cho chúng nó làm sản nghiệp, hầu cho con cái Am-môn không được ghi nhớ giữa các nước nữa.
11 Also upon Moab, will I execute judgments, - So shall they know that I, am Yahweh.
Ta cũng sẽ làm sự phán xét trên Mô-áp; và chúng nó sẽ biết ta là Đức Giê-hô-va.
12 Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Because of what Edom hath done, in taking vengeance on the house of Judah, so that they have become guilty again and again and have taken vengeance upon them,
Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vì dân Ê-đôm đã làm sự báo thù nghịch cùng nhà Giu-đa, và nhân báo thù nhà ấy mà phạm tội nặng, nên Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy:
13 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, I will therefore stretch forth my hand over Edom, and will cut off therefrom man and beast, And will deliver it up as a desolation, from Teman, And they of Dedan, by the sword, shall fall,
Ta sẽ giá tay nghịch cùng Ê-đôm, sẽ dứt người và vật ở đó; ta sẽ làm thành ấy nên hoang vu; từ Thê-man đến Đê-đan, chúng nó sẽ ngã bởi gươm.
14 And I will put forth mine avenging against Edom, by the hand of my people Israel, And they shall deal with Edom, according to mine anger and according to mine indignation, - So shall they know mine avenging, Declareth My Lord. Yahweh,
Ta sẽ làm sự báo thù ta trên Ê-đôm, bởi tay của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ta; dân ấy sẽ đãi dân Ê-đôm theo như sự thạnh nộ và tức giận của ta. Bấy giờ chúng nó sẽ biết sự báo thù của ta là thế, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
15 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because of what the Philistines have done by way of vengeance, - In that they have taken vengeance with contempt in the soul, to destroy, with the enmity of age-past times.
Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vì dân Phi-li-tin làm sự báo thù, làm sự báo thù theo lòng ghen ghét vô cùng mà muốn hủy diệt,
16 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! stretching forth my hand over the Philistines, And I will cut off the Cherethim, — And will cause to perish the remnant of the coast of the sea;
bởi đó, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Nầy, ta sẽ giá tay trên các người Phi-li-tin; sẽ dứt những người Cơ-rết; và ta sẽ làm cho chết hết những kẻ còn sót lại ở trên mé biển.
17 And I will execute upon them great vengeance, with rebukes of indignation: shall they know that I am Yahweh, when I put forth mine avenging against them.
Ta sẽ làm sự báo thù lớn nghịch cùng chúng nó, mà dùng cơn giận quở trách chúng nó; chúng nó sẽ biết ta là Đức Giê-hô-va, khi ta sẽ làm sự báo thù nghịch cùng chúng nó.
