Ezekiel 2

1 And he said unto me, —Son of man, Stand upon thy feet, that I may, speak with thee.

उसने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, अपने पैरों पर खड़े हो जाओ, मैं तुमसे बात करूंगा.”

2 Then the Spirit entered into me as soon as he spake unto me, and it caused me to stand upon my feet, —and I heard one speaking unto me.

जैसे ही उसने मुझसे बात की, आत्मा मुझमें समा गया और मुझे अपने पैरों पर खड़ा कर दिया, और मैंने उसे मुझसे बातें करते सुना.

3 And he said unto me- Son of man I am sending thee unto the sons of Israel, unto rebellious nations, which have rebelled against me, —they, and their fathers have transgressed against me, until this very day;

उसने कहा, “हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, मैं तुम्हें इस्राएलियों के पास भेज रहा हूं, जो एक विद्रोही जाति है; और जिन्होंने मेरे विरुद्ध विद्रोह किया है; वे और उनके पूर्वज आज तक मेरे विरुद्ध विद्रोह करते आ रहे हैं.

4 and it is unto such sons—of shameless face, and emboldened heart, that I am sending thee, —therefore shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh.

जिन लोगों के पास मैं तुम्हें भेज रहा हूं, वे ढीठ और हठी हैं. तुम उनसे कहो, ‘परम प्रधान याहवेह का यह कहना है.’

5 And they! whether they will hear or whether they will forbear, for a perverse house, they are, shall then know that, a prophet, hath been in their midst.

और चाहे वे सुनें या न सुनें—क्योंकि वे तो विद्रोही लोग हैं ही—तौभी वे जान जाएं कि उनके बीच एक भविष्यवक्ता है.

6 But thou son of man Be not afraid of them Nor of their words, be afraid Though thorns and thistles are about thee, And amongst prickly plants, thou dost dwell, Of their words, be not afraid nor At their faces, be thou dismayed, For a perverse house, they are!

और हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, तुम, उनसे या उनकी बातों से न डरना. डरना मत, यद्यपि कंटीली झाड़ियां और कांटे तुम्हारे चारों तरफ हैं और तुम बिच्छुओं के बीच रहते हो. वे क्या कहते हैं, उन बातों से न डरना या उनसे भयभीत न होना, यद्यपि वे एक विद्रोही लोग हैं.

7 Thou shalt therefore speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear For perverse, they are!

तुम उन्हें मेरी बातें अवश्य बताओ, चाहे वे सुनें या न सुनें, क्योंकि वे तो विद्रोही हैं.

8 Thou, therefore son of man, hear what I am speaking unto thee., become not perverse like the perverse house, —open thy mouth, and eat that which I am giving unto thee.

पर हे मनुष्य के पुत्र, मैं तुमसे जो कहता हूं, उसे सुनो. इन विद्रोही लोगों की तरह विद्रोह न करना; अपना मुख खोलो और मैं तुम्हें जो दे रहा हूं, उसे खाओ.”

9 So I looked, and lo! a hand put forth unto me, —and lo! therein a scroll;

तब मैंने देखा कि मेरी ओर एक हाथ बढ़ा. उस हाथ में एक पुस्तक थी,

10 and he spread it out before me, and, it was written on the front and the back, —and there were written thereon, lamentation and sighing, and wailing.

जिसे उसने मेरे सामने खोली. उस पुस्तक के दोनों तरफ विलाप, शोक और दुःख की बातें लिखी हुई थी.
