< Ezekiel 19 >
1 Thou. therefore take up a dirge, for the prince of Israel;
Ary manaova hira fahalahelovana ny amin’ ireo andrianan’ ny Isiraely ianao,
2 and thou shalt say— How was thy mother a lioness, Between lions, she lay down, - In the midst of young lions, She nourished her whelps;
ka ataovy hoe: Nahoana ny liom-bavy reninareo no namitsaka tao amin’ ny liom-bavy. Ary nitaiza ny zanany tao amin’ ny liona tanora?
3 And she reared up one of her whelps— A young lion, he became, And he learned to rend prey. Men, he devoured.
Ary nahalehibe ny zanany anankiray izy, dia tonga liona tanora io ka nianatra hamiravira haza sady nihinana olona.
4 Then nations heard of him. In their pit, was he caught, — So they brought him with hooks. Into the land of Egypt.
Nahare ny lazany ny firenena, dia namandrika azy tamin’ ny lavaka, ka nasiany masom-by ny orony, dia nentiny ho any amin’ ny tany Egypta izy.
5 And she saw she had waited Lost was her hope, Then took she another of her whelps. A young lion, she made him.
Ary nony hitan’ ny liom-bavy fa foana sy levona ny fanantenany, dia nangalany indray ny zanany ka notezainy ho tonga liona tanora.
6 Yea he went to and fro amidst lions A young lion, he became, - And he learned to rend prey. Men, he devoured;
Ary nivoivoy teny amin’ ny liom-bavy iny, dia tonga liona tanora ka nianatra hamiravira haza sady nihinana olona.
7 And he injured his widows, And their cities, laid waste, - And deserted was the land and its fulness, At the noise of his roaring.
Ary nisavika ny mpitondratenan’ ireny izy sady nandrava ny tanànany, ka lao ny tany mbamin’ izay rehetra tao aminy. Noho ny feon’ ny fierony.
8 Then set upon him the nations round about. From the provinces, - And spread over him their net In their pit, was he caught;
Ary ny jentilisa manodidina, izay avy any amin’ ny fanjakana samy hafa, dia nanamboatra sy namelatra ny fandrika haratony taminy, ka dia voafandrika tamin’ ny lavaka izy.
9 And they put him in a cage with hooks, And brought him to Babylon’s king, — They brought him into strong-holds, That his noise might be heard no more Among the mountains of Israel.
Ary nataony tamin’ ny vata izy, sady nasiany masom-by ny orony, ka nentiny ho any amin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona izy, nentiny ho ao amin’ ny fiarovana izy, mba tsy ho re eny amin’ ny tendrombohitry ny Isiraely intsony ny feony.
10 Thy mother [was] like a vine of thy vineyard, By waters, was planted, — Fruitful and full of branches, she became By reason of waters abundant;
Ny reninao dia tahaka ny voalobota voavoly teo amoron-drano Tamin’ ny andro niadananao: Vokatra sady nanaroka izy azon’ ny rano be,
11 And they served her as staves of power For the sceptres of rulers, And high became the stature thereof With its interwoven foliage, - And it was seen by its height, By its multitude of branches.
Ka nisy rantsany mafy azo natao tehim-panjakana ho an’ izay manapaka, dia tonga avo izy ka nitehika tamin’ ny rahona matevina, ary niseho tamin’ ny hahavony izy noho ny hamaroan’ ny rantsany.
12 Then was she uprooted in indignation To the ground, was she cast, And an east wind, dried up her fruit, —Broken off and withered were her staves of power, A fire, devoured them.
Nefa nongotana tamin’ ny fahavinirana izy ka nazera ho amin’ ny tany, ary ny rivotra avy any atsinanana no nahamaina ny voany; Ny rantsany mafy dia tapaka ka maina; Levon’ ny afo ireny.
13 Now, therefore, is she planted in a desert, -In a land parched and dry;
Ary ankehitriny voavoly any an-efitra, dia ao amin’ ny tany maina karankaina izy.
14 And there hath gone forth a fire out of her staves of rods. Her fruit, hath it devoured, And there is in her no staff of power. As a sceptre to bear rule. A dirge, it is, and hath been made a dirge.
Ary afo no mivoaka avy amin’ ny sampany misy tehina ka mandevona ny voany, dia tsy misy rantsany mafy azo atao tehim-panjakana ho fanapahana intsony izy. Hira fahalahelovana izany sady mbola ho hira fahalahelovana ihany.
