Ezekiel 15

1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

Kalpasanna, immay kaniak ti sao ni Yahweh a kunana,

2 Son of man, What can the vine-tree be more than any other tree, —any branch which hath been found among the trees of the forest?

“Anak ti tao, kasano koma a nasaysayaat ti puon ti ubas ngem iti uray ania a kayo nga addaan kadagiti sang-sanga nga adda iti kakaykayoan iti kabakiran?

3 Shall there be taken from it wood, to be made into any work? Or will men take therefrom a peg, to hang thereon any vessel?

Makaala kadi dagiti tattao iti kayo manipud iti puon ti ubas tapno usarenna? Wenno, makaaramidda kadi iti pasok manipud iti daytoy tapno pagibitinanda daytoy iti uray ania?

4 Lo! into the fire, it is given up for fuel, — The two ends thereof, doth the fire devour, And the middle thereof is charred, Is it fit for any work?

Saan! No maipuor daytoy iti apuy a kas pangparubrob, ken no rinunoten ti apuy dagiti pungto daytoy kasta met ti tengngana, adda kadi pay la pakausaranna?

5 Lo! while it was yet whole, it could not be made into any work, — how much less when! the fire hath devoured it. and it is charred, can it still be made into any work?

Kitaem! Idi saan pay a napuoran daytoy, awan a pulos ti pakausaranna; isu nga awan duadua nga inton rinunoten ti apuy, awan latta ngarud ti pakausaran daytoy!

6 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, As a vine-tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given up to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Saan a kas kadagiti kaykayo iti kabakiran, impaayko a kas pangparubrob iti apuy dagiti puon ti ubas; kastoyto met laeng ti aramidek kadagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem.

7 Therefore will I set my face against them, Out of one fire, have they come forth But another fire, shall devour them, —So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh, by my setting my face against them;

Ta sangoekto ida. Uray makarruarda manipud iti apuy, uramento latta ida ti apuy; isu a maammoanyonto a siak ni Yahweh inton sangoek ida.

8 I will therefore give up the land as a desolation, —because they have committed treachery, Declareth My Lord., Yahweh.

Kalpasanna, pagbalinekto a langalang ti daga, gapu ta nagbasolda— kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo!”
