Ezekiel 12

1 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me saying:

Und es geschah an mich Jehovahs Wort, und Er sprach:

2 Son of man. In the midst of a perverse house, dost thou dwell, — Who have eyes to see—and have not seen. Ears have they to hear—and have no heard, For a perverse house, they are.

Menschensohn, du sitzest inmitten eines widerspenstigen Hauses; die haben Augen zum Sehen und sehen nicht; Ohren haben sie zum Hören und hören nicht, weil sie ein widerspenstig Haus sind.

3 Thou, therefore Son of man, Prepare thee baggage for exile, and exile thyself, by day, before their eyes, —so shalt thou exile thyself out of thy place unto another place before their eyes, peradventure they will consider— though a perverse house, they are.

Und du, Menschensohn, mache dir Geräte zur Wegführung und wandere aus am Tag vor ihren Augen, und wandere aus vor ihren Augen von deinem Ort an einen anderen Ort. Vielleicht daß sie sehen, daß sie sind ein widerspenstig Haus.

4 Therefore shalt thou take forth thy baggage as baggage for exile, by day before their eyes, —and thou thyself, shalt go forth in the evening, before their eyes, like them who go forth to exile.

Und bringe heraus deine Geräte, wie Geräte zur Wegführung am Tage vor ihren Augen, und du, ziehe aus am Abend vor ihren Augen, wie die Weggeführten ausziehen;

5 Before their eyes, break thou forth by thyself through the wall, —and carry forth through it.

Vor ihren Augen bohre dir durch die Wand, und bringe sie da hinaus.

6 Before their eyes, Upon the shoulder, shalt thou lift it. In thick darkness, take it forth, Thy face, shalt thou cover so that thou see not the land; For a sign, have I appointed thee to the house of Israel.

Vor ihren Augen erhebe sie auf die Schultern und in der Düsternis bringe sie hinaus, bedecke dein Gesicht, daß du das Land nicht sehest; denn Ich gebe dich zum Wahrzeichen dem Hause Israels.

7 And I did so, just as I was commanded, My baggage, took I forth as baggage for exile by day, and in the evening, I brake forth by myself through the wall, by force: in the twilight, I took it forth—on to my shoulder, I lifted it, before their eyes.

Und ich tat so, wie mir geboten ward, meine Geräte brachte ich bei Tag als Geräte der Wegführung heraus, und am Abend bohrte ich mir mit der Hand durch die Wand; in der Düsternis brachte ich sie hinaus, erhob sie auf die Schulter vor ihren Augen.

8 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me in the morning, saying:

Und am Morgen geschah an mich das Wort Jehovahs sprechend:

9 Son of man, Have not the house of Israel the perverse house, said unto thee, — What art thou doing?

Menschensohn, sprechen nicht zu dir die von dem Hause Israel, dem widerspenstigen Hause: Was tust du?

10 Say unto them, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, — [For] the Bearer, is this burden, in Jerusalem, and [for] all the house of Israel such as are in their midst.

Sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Für den Fürsten ist diese Weissagung in Jerusalem und das ganze Haus Israel, das in seiner Mitte ist.

11 Say, I, am your sign: As I have done, so. shall it be done to them, Into exile—into captivity, shall they go.

Sprich: Ich bin euch ein Wahrzeichen; wie ich getan habe, so wird euch getan, ihr werdet in Verbannung, in Gefangenschaft gehen.

12 Yea, the Bearer who is in their midst, Upon his shoulder, shall lift it. In thick darkness, shall he go forth, Through the wall, shall they break to bear forth through it, — His face, shall he cover, to the end that, his own eye, may not see the land.

Und den Fürsten, der in ihrer Mitte ist, ihn wird man auf die Schulter erheben in der Düsternis, daß er hinauskomme durch die Wand, die sie durchbohren, um ihn da hinauszubringen. Er wird sein Angesicht bedecken, daß er nicht selbst mit dem Auge das Land sehe.

13 Then will I spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare; And I will take him to Babylon. in the land of the Chaldeans, The which, indeed, he shall not see. And yet there, shall he die!

Und Ich will gegen ihn Mein Netz ausbreiten, daß er in Meinem Garn erfaßt werde, und will ihn nach Babel hineinbringen in der Chaldäer Land, und er wird es nicht sehen, und allda soll er sterben.

14 And all who are round about him to help him and all his troops, will I scatter to every wind, —and, a sword, will I make bare after them.

Und alles um ihn her, was ihm beistand, und alle seine Scharen will Ich in allen Winden hin zersprengen, und das Schwert ausziehen hinter ihnen her.

15 So shall they know that, I, am Yahweh, — By my dispersing them among the nations, And scattering them throughout the lands.

Auf daß sie wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin, indem Ich unter die Völkerschaften sie zerstreue und sie versprenge in die Länder.

16 Yet will I leave remaining of them men easily counted, from the sword from the famine and from the pestilence, —that they may recount all their abominations among the nations whither they have come, So shall they know that, I, am Yahweh.

Und ihrer will Ich nur wenige Männer vom Schwert, vom Hunger und von der Pest übrigbleiben lassen, daß sie unter den Völkerschaften, dahin sie kommen, alle ihre Greuel erzählen und wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin.

17 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:

Und es geschah Jehovahs Wort an mich, sprechend:

18 Son of man, Thy bread with trembling, shalt thou eat, — And, thy water in agitation and in fear, shalt thou drink.

Menschensohn, du sollst dein Brot mit Beben essen und dein Wasser mit Zittern und Sorgen trinken.

19 Then shalt thou say unto the people of the land, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem upon the soil of Israel, Their bread with anxious care, shall they eat, And, their water in astonishment, shall they drink, — That her land, may be deserted, of her fulness, because of the violence of all them who dwell therein:

Und zu dem Volk des Landes sollst du sagen: So spricht der Herr Jehovah zu Jerusalems Bewohnern, zum Boden Israels: Ihr Brot sollen sie in Sorge essen und mit Erstaunen ihr Wasser trinken, weil ihr Land verwüstet ist, seiner Fülle bar ob der Gewalttat aller, die in ihm wohnten.

20 Yea, the cities that are inhabited, shall be laid waste, And, the land, shall become, an astonishment, — So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.

Und die bewohnten Städte werden verödet, und das Land verwüstet werden, auf daß sie wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin.

21 And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

Und es geschah Jehovahs Wort an mich, sprechend:

22 Son of man What is this proverb ye have, concerning the soil of Israel, saying, — The days, are prolonged, Therefore shall every vision come to nought?

Menschensohn, was habt ihr für ein Sprichwort auf dem Boden Israels, und ihr sprechet: Die Tage verlängern sich und alles Gesichte ist verloren.

23 Therefore say unto them, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, I will cause this proverb to cease, And they shall use it as a proverb no more in Israel, — But speak unto them, The days, are drawn near, And the substance of every vision.

Darum sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Ich lasse zu Ende kommen dieses Sprichwort. Und sie sollen nicht mehr das Sprichwort führen in Israel. Sondern rede zu ihnen: Die Tage nahen und jeglichen Gesichtes Wort.

24 For there shall no more be— Any vision of falsehood Or divination of deceit, In the midst of the house of Israel.

Denn nicht soll fürder irgendein eitel Gesichte, noch schmeichlerische Wahrsagung inmitten des Hauses Israels sein.

25 For, I, Yahweh will speak whatsoever word I please to speak, And it shall be done, It shall not be delayed any more, — For in your own days, O perverse house, will I speak a word and perform it, Declareth My Lord. Yahweh.

Denn Ich bin Jehovah. Was Ich rede, das rede Ich, das Wort wird getan und verzieht sich nicht mehr; denn in euren Tagen, du widerspenstig Haus, rede Ich ein Wort und tue es, spricht der Herr Jehovah.

26 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:

Und es geschah Jehovahs Wort an mich, sprechend:

27 Son of man. Lo! the house of Israel are saying, the vision which he seeth is for many days, Yea for times far away, hath he prophesied.

Menschensohn, siehe, das Haus Israels spricht: Das Gesichte, das er erschaut, ist auf viele Tage, und für ferne Zeiten weissagt er.

28 Therefore say unto them. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, None of my words shall be delayed any more, — Whatsoever word I speak, then shall it be performed, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

Darum sprich zu ihnen: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Keines Meiner Worte soll fürder mehr verziehen; was Ich geredet, das Wort, wird getan, spricht der Herr Jehovah.
