Ezekiel 1
1 And it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day of the month I being in the midst of them of the captivity, by the river Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
౧నా వయస్సు ముప్ఫయ్యవ సంవత్సరం నాలుగో నెల ఐదో రోజున ఉన్నట్టుండి ఆకాశం తెరుచుకుంది. నేను దైవ దర్శనాలు చూశాను. ఆ రోజుల్లో నేను కెబారు నది దగ్గర బందీల మధ్య నివసిస్తున్నాను.
2 On the fifth of the month, that was the fifth year of the captivity of King Jehoiachin,
౨అది యెహోయాకీను రాజును బందీగా పట్టుకెళ్ళిన తరువాత ఐదో సంవత్సరం. ఆ నెల ఐదో రోజున
3 in very deed came the word of Yahweh unto Ezekiel son of Buzi the priest in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar, —yea the hand of Yahweh, came on him there.
౩కల్దీయుల దేశంలో కెబారు నది పక్కన బూజీ కొడుకూ, యాజకుడూ అయిన యెహెజ్కేలుకు యెహోవా వాక్కు బలంగా వచ్చింది. అక్కడే యెహోవా హస్తం అతని మీదికి వచ్చింది.
4 So then I beheld and lo! a tempestuous wind coming out of the North, a great cloud and a fire catching hold of itself, and it had a brightness round about, —and out of the midst thereof, as burnished copper to look upon out of the midst of the fire;
౪అప్పుడు ఉత్తరం వైపు నుండి ఒక తుఫాను వస్తుండడం చూశాను. ఒక మహా మేఘం, దానిలో ప్రజ్వలించే అగ్ని కనిపించాయి. ఆ మేఘంలో గొప్ప కాంతి కనిపించింది. ఆ కాంతి దాన్ని ఆవరించి ఉంది. ఆ మేఘంలో మండే అగ్ని మెరుగు పెట్టిన కంచులా ఉంది.
5 and out of the midst thereof, a likeness of four living ones, and this was their appearance, the likeness of a man, had they;
౫దాని మధ్యలో నాలుగు జీవుల్లాంటి ఒక స్వరూపం కనిపించింది. అవి మానవ రూపంలో ఉన్నాయి.
6 and four faces each, and four wings each, had they;
౬ఒక్కో దానికి నాలుగు ముఖాలు ఉన్నాయి. అలాగే నాలుగు రెక్కలు ఉన్నాయి.
7 and their feet were straight feet, —and the sole of their feet was like the sole of the foot of a calf, but sparkling, as shining bronze to look upon;
౭వాటి కాళ్లు తిన్నగా ఉన్నాయి. వాటి అరికాళ్ళు దూడ డెక్కల్లా ఉన్నాయి. అవి మెరుగు పెట్టిన ఇత్తడిలా మెరుస్తూ ఉన్నాయి.
8 and the hands of a man! were under their wings, on their four sides, —and their faces and their wings belonged to the four of them:
౮అయినా మనుషులకున్నట్టే వాటికి చేతులు ఉన్నాయి. అవి వాటి నాలుగు రెక్కల కింద ఉన్నాయి. నాలుగు జీవుల ముఖాలూ, రెక్కలూ ఇలా ఉన్నాయి.
9 joined to each other, were their wings, —they turned not when they went, each one straight before him, did they go;
౯వాటి రెక్కలు పక్కనే ఉన్న మరో జీవి రెక్కలను తాకుతూ ఉన్నాయి. అవి వెళ్తున్నప్పుడు ఏ వైపుకీ తిరగడం లేదు. అవన్నీ ముందుకే ప్రయాణం చేస్తూ ఉన్నాయి.
10 and the likeness of their faces was the face of a man, with the face of a lion to the right of the four of them, and the face of an ox on the left, of the four of them, —the face of an eagle, also had they four;
౧౦వాటి ముఖాలు ఎదుట నుంచి చూస్తే మనిషి ముఖాల్లా ఉన్నాయి. కుడివైపు నుండి చూస్తే సింహం ముఖంలా ఎడమవైపు నుండి చూస్తే ఎద్దు ముఖంలా ఉన్నాయి. ఇంకా ఈ నాలుగు జీవులకీ డేగ లాంటి ముఖాలు ఉన్నాయి.
11 and their wings were spread above, — two of each joined one another, and two covered their bodies;
౧౧వాటి ముఖాలు అలాంటివే. వాటి రెక్కలు పైకి విచ్చుకుని ఉన్నాయి. దాంతో ఒక జత రెక్కలు మరో జీవి రెక్కలను తాకుతూ ఉన్నాయి. ఇంకో జత రెక్కలు వాటి దేహాలను కప్పుతూ ఉన్నాయి.
12 and each one straight before him, did they go, —whithersoever the spirit was minded to go, they went, they turned not when they went.
౧౨అవి అన్నీ ముందుకు సాగి వెళ్తున్నాయి. అటూ ఇటూ తిరుగకుండా ఆత్మ నిర్దేశించిన మార్గంలో వెళ్తున్నాయి.
13 As for the likeness of the living ones, their appearance was like live coals of fire burning up like the appearance of torches, the same went to and fro between the living ones, —and the fire had brightness and out of the fire, went forth a lightning.
౧౩ఈ జీవులు రగులుతున్న నిప్పు కణికల్లా, దివిటీల్లా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. ప్రకాశవంతమైన అగ్ని ఆ జీవుల మధ్య కదులుతూ ఉంది. అక్కడ నుండి మెరుపులు వస్తున్నాయి.
14 And the living ones ran and returned, —like the appearance of a flash of lightning.
౧౪ఆ జీవులు వెనక్కీ ముందుకీ కదులుతున్నాయి. దాంతో అవి మెరుపుల్లా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి.
15 And I looked at the living ones, —and lo! one wheel upon the earth beside the living ones for each of his four faces,
౧౫తరువాత నేను ఆ జీవులను చూస్తుంటే వాటి పక్కనే నేలపైన చక్రాల వంటివి కనిపించాయి.
16 The appearance of the wheels and of their structure was like a Tarshish-stone to look upon, and they four had one likeness, —and their appearance and their structure were just as would be a wheel in the midst of a wheel.
౧౬ఆ చక్రాల నిర్మాణం ఇలా ఉంది, ప్రతి చక్రం గోమేధికంలా ఉంది. నాలుగు చక్రాలూ ఒకేలా ఉన్నాయి. ఒక చక్రంలో మరో చక్రం ఇమిడి ఉన్నట్టుగా ఉన్నాయి.
17 Upon their four sides, when they went, so did they go, —they turned not when they went.
౧౭అవి కదిలినప్పుడు అన్నీ నాలుగు వైపులకీ కదులుతున్నాయి. ఏదీ వెనక్కి తిరగడం లేదు.
18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were terrible, -and their rings full of eyes round about, had they four.
౧౮వాటి అంచులు ఎత్తుగా ఉండి భయం పుట్టిస్తున్నాయి. వాటి అంచుల చుట్టూ కళ్ళు ఉన్నాయి.
19 And when the living ones went, the wheels went beside them, —and when the living ones were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up:
౧౯ఆ జీవులు కదిలినప్పుడల్లా వాటితో పాటు ఆ చక్రాలు కూడా కదిలాయి. జీవులు భూమి పై నుండి పైకి లేచినప్పుడు ఆ చక్రాలు కూడా లేచాయి.
20 whithersoever the spirit was minded to go, they went—thither was the spirit minded to go, —and the wheels would be lifted up along with them, for the spirit of the living one was in the wheels:
౨౦ఆత్మ ఎక్కడికి కదిలి వెళ్తున్నాడో జీవులు కూడా అక్కడికి వెళ్తున్నాయి. చక్రాలు జీవులతో పాటు లేస్తున్నాయి. ఎందుకంటే ఈ జీవుల ఆత్మ చక్రాల్లో ఉంది.
21 when they went, these went, and when they stood, these stood, —and when they were lifted up from off the earth, the wheels were lifted up along with them, for the spirit of the living one was in the wheels.
౨౧ఈ జీవుల ఆత్మ చక్రాల్లో ఉంది కాబట్టి జీవులు కదిలినప్పుడు చక్రాలు కూడా కదిలాయి. జీవులు నిశ్చలంగా నిలిచిపోయినప్పుడు చక్రాలు కూడా నిలిచిపోయాయి. జీవులు భూమిపై నుండి పైకి లేచినప్పుడు చక్రాలు కూడా లేచాయి.
22 And there was a likeness over the heads of the living one—an expanse, like terrible crystal to look upon, -stretched forth over their heads above.
౨౨ఆ జీవుల తలల పైగా విశాలమైనది ఒకటి కనిపించింది. అది మెరుస్తున్న మంచు గడ్డలా ఆ జీవుల తలల పైగా వ్యాపించినట్టు కనిపించింది. అది అద్భుతం గానూ, ఆశ్చర్యాన్ని కలిగించేది గానూ ఉంది.
23 And under the expanse, their wings were straight, one towards another, —each one had two covering on this side, and each one had two covering on that side, their bodies.
౨౩ఆ విశాలమైన దాని కింద జీవులు తమ రెక్కలు చాపుకుని ఉన్నాయి. ఒకదాని రెక్కలు మరోదాని రెక్కలను తాకుతూ ఉన్నాయి. ప్రతి జీవీ తన రెండు రెక్కలతో తన దేహాన్ని కప్పుకుంటూ ఉంది. అలా ప్రతి జీవికీ దేహాన్ని కప్పుకోడానికి రెండు రెక్కలున్నాయి.
24 And I heard the sound of their wings, as the sound of many waters, as the sound of the Almighty, when they went, the sound of a storm as the sound of a host, —when they stood, they let down their wings,
౨౪ఆ తరువాత నేను వాటి రెక్కల శబ్దం విన్నాను. అది పరుగులెత్తే నీటి శబ్దంలా ఉంది. సర్వశక్తిగల దేవుని స్వరంలా ఉంది. అవి కదిలినప్పుడల్లా గాలివాన శబ్దం వినిపించింది. ఒక సైన్యం చేస్తున్న శబ్దంలా తోచింది. అవి కదలకుండా ఆగినప్పుడు తమ రెక్కలను కిందకి వాల్చి ఉంచాయి.
25 And there was a voice above the expanse that was over their head, —when they stood, they let down their wings.
౨౫అవి ఆగిపోయి తమ రెక్కలు చాపినప్పుడు వాటి తలల పైన ఉన్న విశాలమైన దానికి పైగా ఒక స్వరం వినిపించింది.
26 And above the expanse that was over their heads, as the appearance of a sapphire stone, was the likeness of a throne, —and upon the likeness of a throne, was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.
౨౬వాటి తలల పైగా ఉన్న ఆ విశాలమైనదాని పైన ఒక సింహాసనం లాంటిది కనిపించింది. అది నీలకాంత మణిలా ఉంది. ఆ సింహాసనం పైన మానవ స్వరూపంలో ఉన్న ఒక వ్యక్తి కూర్చున్నట్లు కనిపించింది.
27 And I saw as burnished copper to look upon, as the appearance of fire within it round about, from the appearance of his loins and upwards and from the appearance of his loins and downwards, saw I as the appearance of fire, and he had brightness round about:
౨౭అప్పుడు ఒక ఆకారాన్ని నేను చూశాను. అతని నడుము పైగా అగ్నితో మండుతున్న లోహంలా నాకు కనిపించింది. అతని నడుము కింద చుట్టూ అగ్నిలా, ప్రకాశవంతమైన కాంతిలా కనిపించింది.
28 as the appearance of the bow which is in a cloud on a day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about, that was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Yahweh, and when I saw, I fell upon my face, and heard a voice of one speaking.
౨౮అది వర్షం కురిసినప్పుడు మబ్బుల్లో కనిపించే మేఘధనస్సులా, దాని చుట్టూ ఉండే ప్రకాశవంతమైన కాంతిలా కనిపించింది. అది యెహోవా మహిమలా కనిపించింది. అది చూసి నేను సాగిలపడ్డాను. అప్పుడు ఒక స్వరం నాతో మాట్లాడటం నేను విన్నాను.
