Exodus 35
1 And Moses called together all the assembly of the sons of Israel and said unto them, —These are the things which Yahweh hath commanded to do them.
Moïse ensuite rassembla toute la synagogue d'Israël, et il dit: Voici les commandements que le Seigneur veut que vous observiez:
2 Six days, shall work be done, but on the seventh day, shall there be to you a holy sabbath-keeping, unto Yahweh, whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
Tu travailleras pendant six jours; mais le septième jour, repos, sabbat saint, repos du Seigneur; périsse quiconque fera œuvre en ce jour.
3 Ye shall not kindle a fire, in any of your dwellings, —on the sabbath day.
N'allumez point de feu en vos demeures le jour du sabbat; je suis le Seigneur.
4 And Moses spake unto all the assembly of the sons of Israel, saying, This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, saying,
Et Moïse parla à toute la synagogue d'Israël, disant: Voici l'ordre qu'a imposé le Seigneur, disant:
5 Take ye from among you, a heave-offering to Yahweh, every one whose heart is willing shall bring it in, even the heave-offering of Yahweh, gold and silver and bronze:
Prenez, parmi vos biens, l'offrande du Seigneur que quiconque s'y soumet de bon cœur, apporte au Seigneur des prémices: de l'or, de l'argent, de l'airain,
6 and blue and purple and crimson and fine linen and goat’s-hair;
De l'hyacinthe, de la pourpre, de l'écarlate double filé, du lin filé et des poils de chèvre,
7 and rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and acacia wood;
Et des toisons de béliers teintes en rouge, et des toisons bleues, et des bois incorruptibles;
8 and oil for giving light, and aromatic spices for the anointing oil, and for fragrant incense;
9 and onyx stones and setting stones, for the ephod, and for the breastpiece.
Et des cornalines, des pierres à graver pour l'éphod et pour la robe traînante.
10 And, all the wise-hearted among you, shall come in, that they may make, all that which Yahweh hath commanded: —
Qu'ensuite, tout homme sage, parmi vous, vienne, et façonne tout ce que le Seigneur a prescrit:
11 the habitation, its tent, and its covering, —its clasps its boards, and its bars its pillars, and its sockets:
Le tabernacle, avec les attaches, les voiles, les agrafes, les leviers et les colonnes;
12 the ark with its staves the propitiatory, and the screening veil;
L'arche du témoignage, avec ses leviers, son propitiatoire; les voiles et les tentures du parvis, avec ses colonnes; les pierres d'émeraude, l'encens et l'huile de l'onction;
13 the table with its staves and all its utensils, and the Presence-bread:
La table et tous ses accessoires;
14 the lampstand for giving light, with its utensils, and its lamps, and the oil for giving light;
Le chandelier et tous ses accessoires;
15 and the incense altar, with its staves, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense, —and the entrance screen, for the entrance of the habitation;
16 the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and the bronze grating which pertaineth thereto, its staves and all its utensils, the laver and its stand;
L'autel et tous ses accessoires;
17 the hangings for the court, its pillars and its sockets, —and the screen for the gate of the court:
18 the pins of the habitation, and the pins of the court, and their cords;
19 the cloths of variegated stuff for ministering in the sanctuary, —the sacred garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for ministering as priests.
les vêtements saints du prêtre Aaron, et les vêtements sacerdotaux, les tuniques sacerdotales de ses fils, l'huile de l'onction et l'encens composé.
20 So all the assembly of the sons of Israel went forth from the presence of Moses;
Et la synagogue entière des fils d'Israël s'éloigna de Moïse.
21 and they brought in—every man whose heart lifted him up, —and, every one whose spirit made him willing, brought in the heave-offering of Yahweh, for the construction of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.
Bientôt ils revinrent, apportant, chacun au gré de son cœur, en oblation au Seigneur, des dons pour tous les travaux du tabernacle du témoignage, pour ses accessoires et les vêtements saints.
22 Yea they brought in—the men with the women, —all who were willing-hearted, brought in—bracelets and nose-ornaments and rings, and buckles, all manner of jewels of gold, even every man who waved a wave-offering of gold unto Yahweh.
Et les hommes apportèrent, chacun au gré de son cœur, des joyaux d'or de leurs femmes: des cachets, des boucles d'oreilles, des anneaux, des attaches de tresse et des bracelets. Et tous ceux qui avaient de l'or en apportèrent comme oblation au Seigneur;
23 And, every man with whom was found blue and purple and crimson and fine linen and goat’s-hair, —and rams’ skins dyed red and badgers’ skins brought them in.
Ceux qui avaient du lin, des toisons bleues, des toisons de béliers teintes en rouge, en apportèrent aussi.
24 Every one who would heave a heave-offering of silver or bronze, brought in the heave-offering of Yahweh, —and, every one with whom was found acacia wood for any construction for the service, brought it in.
Parmi ceux qui faisaient ainsi leurs offrandes, d'autres apportèrent de l'argent ou de l'airain, comme oblation au Seigneur; ceux qui avaient des bois incorruptibles, et ce qu'il fallait pour les travaux auxquels on se préparait, en apportèrent.
25 And, all the women who were wise-hearted, with their hands, did spin, —and brought in that which they had spun—the blue, and the purple, the crimson, and the fine linen.
Toute femme adroite et intelligente, habile à filer, apporta des fils d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate et de lin.
26 And, all the women whose hearts lifted them up with wisdom, span the goat’s-hair.
Et toutes les femmes, inspirées par de sages pensées, filèrent les poils de chèvre.
27 And the princes, brought in the onyx stones and the setting stones, —for the ephod and for the breastpiece;
Les princes apportèrent les pierres d'émeraude, et les pierres qui devaient couvrir l'éphod et le rational,
28 and the aromatic spices, and the oil, —for giving light, and for anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.
Ainsi que tous les parfums nécessaires à l'huile de l'onction et à l'encens composé.
29 [In the case of], every male and woman whose heart, made them willing, to bring in for any construction which, Yahweh had commanded them to make, by the hand of Moses, [in their case] did the sons of Israel bring in a free-will offering unto Yahweh.
Tout homme et toute femme, dont le cœur les y portait, se réunirent pour faire les travaux que le Seigneur avait prescrits par la voix de Moïse; les fils d'Israël apportèrent ainsi leurs oblations au Seigneur.
30 And Moses said unto the sons of Israel—See! Yahweh hath called by name, —Bezaleel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
Moïse dit alors aux fils d'Israël: Le Seigneur a appelé par son nom Beseléel, fils d'Urias, fils d'Ur, de la tribu de Juda,
31 and filled him with the spirit of God, —in, wisdom in understanding and in knowledge, and in all manner of execution;
Et il l'a rempli d'un divin esprit de sagesse, d'intelligence et de science en toutes choses,
32 to devise skilful designs, —to work in gold and in silver and in bronze;
Pour qu'il dirige tous les travaux de construction, et qu'il façonne l'or, l'argent et l'airain
33 and in the cutting of stones for setting, and in the cutting of wood, —to work in any manner of skilful workmanship,
Pour qu'il taille les pierres, pour qu'il mette en œuvre les bois, pour qu'il fasse tous les ouvrages de sagesse.
34 To teach also, hath he put in his heart, [the heart of] him, and of Oholiab—son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan;
Le Seigneur lui a donné, à lui et à Oliab, fils d'Achisamach, de la tribu de Dan, de progresser en habileté d'esprit.
35 hath filled them with wisdom of heart to work all manner of workmanship of cutter, and deviser and embroiderer, in blue and in purple, in crimson and in fine linen and of the weaver, —workers of any manner of workmanship, and devisers of skilful designs.
Il a rempli l'un et l'autre de sagesse, d'intelligence, d'esprit, pour qu'ils sachent faire tous les ouvrages du sanctuaire, les tissus et les broderies, pour qu'ils tissent l'écarlate et le lin, pour qu'ils achèvent toute œuvre d'art et de broderie.
