Exodus 35
1 And Moses called together all the assembly of the sons of Israel and said unto them, —These are the things which Yahweh hath commanded to do them.
Moïse convoqua toute la communauté des enfants d’Israël et leur dit: "Voici les choses que l’Éternel a ordonné d’observer.
2 Six days, shall work be done, but on the seventh day, shall there be to you a holy sabbath-keeping, unto Yahweh, whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
Pendant six jours on travaillera, mais au septième vous aurez une solennité sainte, un chômage absolu en l’honneur de l’Éternel; quiconque travaillera en ce jour sera mis à mort.
3 Ye shall not kindle a fire, in any of your dwellings, —on the sabbath day.
Vous ne ferez point de feu dans aucune de vos demeures en ce jour de repos."
4 And Moses spake unto all the assembly of the sons of Israel, saying, This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, saying,
Moïse parla en ces termes à toute la communauté d’Israël: "Voici ce que l’Éternel m’a ordonné de vous dire:
5 Take ye from among you, a heave-offering to Yahweh, every one whose heart is willing shall bring it in, even the heave-offering of Yahweh, gold and silver and bronze:
‘Prélevez sur vos biens une offrande pour l’Éternel; que tout homme de bonne volonté l’apporte, ce tribut du Seigneur: de l’or, de l’argent et du cuivre;
6 and blue and purple and crimson and fine linen and goat’s-hair;
des étoffes d’azur, de pourpre, d’écarlate, de fin lin et de poil de chèvre;
7 and rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and acacia wood;
des peaux de bélier teintes en rouge, des peaux de tahach et du bois de chittim;
8 and oil for giving light, and aromatic spices for the anointing oil, and for fragrant incense;
de l’huile pour le luminaire, des aromates pour l’huile d’onction et pour la combustion des parfums;
9 and onyx stones and setting stones, for the ephod, and for the breastpiece.
des pierres de choham et des pierres à enchâsser, pour l’éphod et le pectoral.
10 And, all the wise-hearted among you, shall come in, that they may make, all that which Yahweh hath commanded: —
Puis, que les plus industrieux d’entre vous se présentent pour exécuter tout ce qu’a ordonné l’Éternel:
11 the habitation, its tent, and its covering, —its clasps its boards, and its bars its pillars, and its sockets:
le tabernacle, avec son pavillon et sa couverture; ses agrafes et ses solives, ses traverses, ses piliers et ses socles;
12 the ark with its staves the propitiatory, and the screening veil;
l’arche avec ses barres, le propitiatoire, le voile protecteur;
13 the table with its staves and all its utensils, and the Presence-bread:
la table, avec ses barres et toutes ses pièces, ainsi que les pains de proposition;
14 the lampstand for giving light, with its utensils, and its lamps, and the oil for giving light;
le candélabre pour l’éclairage avec ses ustensiles et ses lampes et l’huile du luminaire;
15 and the incense altar, with its staves, and the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense, —and the entrance screen, for the entrance of the habitation;
l’autel du parfum avec ses barres, l’huile d’onction et le parfum aromatique, puis le rideau d’entrée pour l’entrée du tabernacle;
16 the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and the bronze grating which pertaineth thereto, its staves and all its utensils, the laver and its stand;
l’autel de l’holocauste avec son grillage de cuivre, ses barres et tous ses ustensiles; la cuve avec son support;
17 the hangings for the court, its pillars and its sockets, —and the screen for the gate of the court:
les toiles du parvis, ses piliers et ses socles et le rideau-portière du parvis;
18 the pins of the habitation, and the pins of the court, and their cords;
les chevilles du tabernacle, celles du parvis et leurs cordages;
19 the cloths of variegated stuff for ministering in the sanctuary, —the sacred garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for ministering as priests.
les tapis d’emballage pour le service des choses saintes; les vêtements sacrés pour Aaron, le pontife et ceux que ses fils porteront pour fonctionner.’"
20 So all the assembly of the sons of Israel went forth from the presence of Moses;
Toute la communauté des enfants d’Israël se retira de devant Moïse.
21 and they brought in—every man whose heart lifted him up, —and, every one whose spirit made him willing, brought in the heave-offering of Yahweh, for the construction of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.
Puis vinrent tous les hommes au cœur élevé, aux sentiments généreux, apportant le tribut du Seigneur pour l’oeuvre de la Tente d’assignation et pour tout son appareil, ainsi que pour les vêtements sacrés.
22 Yea they brought in—the men with the women, —all who were willing-hearted, brought in—bracelets and nose-ornaments and rings, and buckles, all manner of jewels of gold, even every man who waved a wave-offering of gold unto Yahweh.
Hommes et femmes accoururent. Tous les gens dévoués de cœur apportèrent boucles, pendants, anneaux, colliers, tout ornement d’or; quiconque avait voué une offrande en or pour le Seigneur.
23 And, every man with whom was found blue and purple and crimson and fine linen and goat’s-hair, —and rams’ skins dyed red and badgers’ skins brought them in.
Tout homme se trouvant en possession d’étoffes d’azur, de pourpre, d’écarlate, de fin lin, de poil de chèvre, de peaux de bélier teintes en rouge, de peaux de tahach, en fit hommage.
24 Every one who would heave a heave-offering of silver or bronze, brought in the heave-offering of Yahweh, —and, every one with whom was found acacia wood for any construction for the service, brought it in.
Quiconque put prélever une offrande d’argent ou de cuivre, apporta l’offrande du Seigneur; et tous ceux qui avaient par devers eux du bois de chittîm propre à un des ouvrages à exécuter, l’apportèrent.
25 And, all the women who were wise-hearted, with their hands, did spin, —and brought in that which they had spun—the blue, and the purple, the crimson, and the fine linen.
Toutes les femmes industrieuses filèrent elles-mêmes et elles apportèrent, tout filés, l’azur, la pourpre, l’écarlate et le lin;
26 And, all the women whose hearts lifted them up with wisdom, span the goat’s-hair.
et toutes celles qui se distinguaient par une habileté supérieure, filèrent le poil de chèvre.
27 And the princes, brought in the onyx stones and the setting stones, —for the ephod and for the breastpiece;
Quant aux phylarques, ils apportèrent les pierres de choham et les pierres à enchâsser, pour l’éphod et le pectoral;
28 and the aromatic spices, and the oil, —for giving light, and for anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.
et les aromates et l’huile pour l’éclairage, pour l’huile d’onction et pour le fumigatoire aromatique.
29 [In the case of], every male and woman whose heart, made them willing, to bring in for any construction which, Yahweh had commanded them to make, by the hand of Moses, [in their case] did the sons of Israel bring in a free-will offering unto Yahweh.
Tous, hommes et femmes, ce que leur zèle les porta à offrir pour les divers travaux que l’Éternel avait prescrits par l’organe de Moïse, les enfants d’Israël en firent l’hommage spontané à l’Éternel.
30 And Moses said unto the sons of Israel—See! Yahweh hath called by name, —Bezaleel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
Moïse dit aux enfants d’Israël: "Voyez; l’Éternel a désigné nominativement Beçalel, fils d’Ouri, fils de Hour, de la tribu de Juda.
31 and filled him with the spirit of God, —in, wisdom in understanding and in knowledge, and in all manner of execution;
Il l’a rempli d’un souffle divin; d’habileté, de jugement, de science, d’aptitude pour tous les arts;
32 to devise skilful designs, —to work in gold and in silver and in bronze;
lui a appris à combiner des tissus; à mettre en œuvre l’or, l’argent et le cuivre;
33 and in the cutting of stones for setting, and in the cutting of wood, —to work in any manner of skilful workmanship,
à tailler la pierre pour la sertir, à travailler le bois, à exécuter toute œuvre d’artiste.
34 To teach also, hath he put in his heart, [the heart of] him, and of Oholiab—son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan;
Il l’a aussi doué du don de l’enseignement, lui et Oholiab, fils d’Ahisamak, de la tribu de Dan.
35 hath filled them with wisdom of heart to work all manner of workmanship of cutter, and deviser and embroiderer, in blue and in purple, in crimson and in fine linen and of the weaver, —workers of any manner of workmanship, and devisers of skilful designs.
II les a doués du talent d’exécuter toute œuvre d’artisan, d’artiste, de brodeur sur azur, pourpre, écarlate et fin lin, de tisserand, enfin de tous artisans et artistes ingénieux.
