< Exodus 30 >
1 And thou shalt make an altar, for burning incense, of acacia wood, shalt thou make it:
“Fa ɔkanto yɛ afɔremuka ketewa bi a wobɛhyew aduhuam wɔ so.
2 a cubit, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof four square, shall it be, —and two cubits, the height thereof, of the same, [shall be] the horns thereof,
Ma ɛnyɛ ahinanan a ne fa biara susuw nsateaa dunwɔtwe, na ne sorokɔ nso nyɛ anammɔn abiɛsa a wɔasen; ne mmɛn a baako tua ho.
3 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and thou shalt make to it a border of gold round about.
Fa sikakɔkɔɔ dura ne soro, ne nkyɛn ne ne mmɛn a ɛwɔ afɔremuka no ho no nyinaa. Na fa sikakɔkɔɔ mmuano twa afɔremuka no ho nyinaa hyia.
4 And, two rings of gold, shalt thou make to it, under the border thereof upon the two corners thereof, shalt thou make them on the two sides thereof, —so shall they become receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.
Fa sikakɔkɔɔ nkaa abien hyehyɛ mmuano no a ɛwɔ afanu no ase na wɔde nnua a wɔde bɛsoa no awurawura mu.
5 And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, —and overlay them with gold.
Wɔmfa ɔkanto na ɛnyɛ nnua no, na wɔmfa sikakɔkɔɔ nnura ho nyinaa.
6 And thou shalt place it before the veil, which is by the ark of the testimony, —before the propitiatory which is upon the testimony, where I will meet thee.
Fa afɔremuka no si ntwamtam no akyi wɔ mpatabea hɔ a ɛbɔ faako a Apam Adaka a Mmaransɛm Du no wɔ no ho ban. Mehyia mo wɔ hɔ.
7 And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense, —morning by morning, when he trimmeth the lamps, shall he burn it;
“Da biara anɔpa, sɛ Aaron resiesie kanea no a, ɔbɛhyew aduhuam wɔ afɔremuka no so.
8 and, when Aaron lighteth the lamps, between the evenings, shall he burn it, —a continual incense before Yahweh, to your generations.
Anwummere biara, sɛ ɔsɔ kanea no a, ɔbɛhyew aduhuam wɔ Awurade anim ama awo ntoatoaso a ɛbɛba nyinaa.
9 Ye shall not cause to ascend thereupon strange incense, nor an ascending-sacrifice, nor a meal-offering, —and a drink offering, shall ye not pour out thereupon.
Monhyew aduhuam a wɔama ho kwan wɔ afɔremuka no so. Mommmɔ ɔhyew afɔre ne aduan afɔre wɔ so, na mommfa ahwiesa ngu so.
10 But Aaron shall put a propitiatory-covering upon the horns thereof, once in the year: of the blood of the sin-bearer for propitiatory-coverings, once in the year, shall he put a propitiatory-covering thereupon to your generations, most holy, it is to Yahweh.
Afe biara, ɛsɛ sɛ Aaron dwira afɔremuka no ho yɛ no kronkron. Ɔde mogya bɛsrasra mmɛn a etuatua ho no so sɛ mpata. Ɛsɛ sɛ afe biara wɔtew afɔremuka no ho yɛ no kronkron ma awo ntoatoaso a ɛbɛba no so kosi awo ntoatoaso so. Ɛyɛ kronkron ma Awurade.”
11 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose se,
12 When thou takest the sum of the sons of Israel, by their numberings, then shall they give every man a propitiatory-covering for his soul to Yahweh, when they are numbered, —that there may be among them no plague when they are numbered.
“Bere biara a wobɛkan Israelfo no, obiara a wɔbɛkan no no mfa ne kra ho mpata mmrɛ Awurade, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a ɔyaredɔm biara remma wɔn mu bi so.
13 This, shall they give—every one that passeth over to them that have been numbered—a half-shekel by the shekel of the sanctuary, —the shekel is twenty gerahs—the half-shekel, shall be a heave-offering to Yahweh.
Ɛsɛ sɛ obiara a wɔkan no no ma dwetɛbona fa, a emu duru yɛ gram asia (sɛnea kronkronbea mu dwetɛbona bo te no.)
14 All who pass over to the numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, shall give the heave-offering of Yahweh.
Obiara a wadi mfe aduonu rekɔ no na ɔbɛbɔ saa afɔre yi.
15 The rich, shall not give more, and the poor, shall not give less, than the half-shekel, —when they give the heave-offering of Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Ɛnsɛ sɛ adefo ma ma ɛboro sika a wɔatwa ato hɔ no so. Ɛnsɛ sɛ ahiafo nso ma nea esua sen saa, efisɛ ɛyɛ Awurade afɔre a ɔde retew yɛn ho ama yɛn.
16 So then thou shalt take the silver for the propitiatory-coverings from the sons of Israel, and shalt expend it upon the service of the tent of meeting, —thus shall it be for the sons of Israel as a memorial before Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Momfa saa sika yi nsiesie Ahyiae Ntamadan no. Sɛ moyɛ saa a, ɛbɛma Awurade ani aba mo, Israelfo, so na ayɛ mpata nso ama mo.”
17 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose se.
18 And thou shalt make a laver of bronze, and its stand of bronze for bathing, —and thou shalt place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put therein water.
“Fa kɔbere yɛ hweaseammɔ a ne nnyinaso nso yɛ kɔbere. Fa si Ahyiae Ntamadan no ne afɔremuka no ntam na fa nsu gu mu.
19 So shall Aaron and his sons bathe thereat, —their hands, and their feet.
Ɛhɔ na Aaron ne ne mmabarima bɛhohoro wɔn nsa ne wɔn anan ho
20 When they enter the tent of meeting, they shall bathe with water so shall they not die, —or when they approach unto the altar to minister, to burn as incense an altar-flame to Yahweh:
bere a wɔrekɔ Ahyiae Ntamadan no mu de wɔn ho akɔkyerɛ Awurade, anaasɛ wɔrekɔ akɔbɔ afɔre wɔ afɔremuka no so ama Awurade no. Saa ara na bere biara a wɔrekodi saa dwuma yi no,
21 so then they shall bathe their hands and their feet and shall not die, —and it shall be to them an age-abiding statute, to him and to his seed to their generations.
ɛsɛ sɛ wɔhohoro wɔn ho na wɔanwuwu. Ɛsɛ sɛ eyi yɛ mmara a ɛbɛtena hɔ daa ama Aaron ne nʼasefo, awo ntoatoaso a ɛbɛba nyinaa.”
22 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Afei, Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose se,
23 Thou, therefore, take to thee—principal spices, —self-flowing myrrh, five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon, half as much, two hundred and fifty, and, fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
“Hwehwɛ nnuhuam papa sɛ kurobow a ɛyɛ kilogram asia, sinamon kilogram abiɛsa ne mmetire huamhuam kilogram abiɛsa.

25 And thou shalt make it an oil for holy anointing, a compounded perfume the work of a perfumer, —an oil for holy anointing, shall it be.
Awurade ahyɛ nnuhuamfrafo a wakwadaw ne yɛ mu yiye, sɛ wɔmfra saa nnuhuam yi mma ɛnyɛ ngo kronkron a wɔde tew onipa ho.
26 And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, —and the ark of the testimony;
Na momfa eyi ntew Ahyiae Ntamadan ne Apam Adaka,

28 and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, -and the laver, and its stand.
ɔhyew afɔre ne ho nkankyee, ne hweaseammɔ ne nea esi so.
29 So shalt thou hallow them, and they shall be most holy, —whosoever toucheth them, shall be holy.
Montew ho na ɛnyɛ kronkron na biribiara a ɛbɛka saa nneɛma yi no ho atew.
30 Aaron also, and his sons, shalt thou anoint, —so shalt thou hallow them to minister as priests unto me.
“Monsra Aaron ne ne mmabarima no sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a wɔn ho bɛtew na wɔatumi ayɛ asɔfodwuma de asom me.
31 And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, An oil for holy anointing, shall this be to me, to your generations.
Na monka nkyerɛ Israelfo se, ‘Eyi bɛyɛ me srango kronkron ama awo ntoatoaso a ɛbɛba no.
32 Upon the flesh of a common man, shall it not be poured, and according to the proportions thereof, shall ye not make any like it, —holy, it is, holy, shall it be to you.

34 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Take to thee aromatic spices stacte and onycha, and galbanum, —aromatic spices, and pure frankincense, —weight for weight, shall it be.
