Exodus 30
1 And thou shalt make an altar, for burning incense, of acacia wood, shalt thou make it:
Och du skall göra ett altare för att antända rökelse därpå, av akacieträ skall du göra det.
2 a cubit, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof four square, shall it be, —and two cubits, the height thereof, of the same, [shall be] the horns thereof,
Det skall vara en aln långt och en aln brett -- en liksidig fyrkant -- och två alnar högt; dess horn skola vara i ett stycke därmed.
3 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and thou shalt make to it a border of gold round about.
Och du skall överdraga det med rent guld, dess skiva, dess väggar runt omkring och dess hörn; och du skall göra en rand av guld därpå runt omkring.
4 And, two rings of gold, shalt thou make to it, under the border thereof upon the two corners thereof, shalt thou make them on the two sides thereof, —so shall they become receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.
Och du skall till det göra två ringar av guld och sätta dem nedanför randen, på dess båda sidor; på de båda sidostyckena skall du sätta dem. De skola vara där, för att stänger må skjutas in i dem, så att man med dem kan bära altaret.
5 And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, —and overlay them with gold.
Och du skall göra stängerna av akacieträ och överdraga dem med guld.
6 And thou shalt place it before the veil, which is by the ark of the testimony, —before the propitiatory which is upon the testimony, where I will meet thee.
Och du skall ställa det framför den förlåt som hänger framför vittnesbördets ark, så att det står framför nådastolen, som är ovanpå vittnesbördet, där jag skall uppenbara mig för dig.
7 And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense, —morning by morning, when he trimmeth the lamps, shall he burn it;
Och Aron skall antända välluktande rökelse därpå; var morgon, när han tillreder lamporna, skall han antända rökelse;
8 and, when Aaron lighteth the lamps, between the evenings, shall he burn it, —a continual incense before Yahweh, to your generations.
och likaledes skall Aron antända rökelse, när han vid aftontiden sätter upp lamporna. Detta skall vara det dagliga rökoffret inför HERRENS ansikte, från släkte till släkte.
9 Ye shall not cause to ascend thereupon strange incense, nor an ascending-sacrifice, nor a meal-offering, —and a drink offering, shall ye not pour out thereupon.
I skolen icke låta någon främmande rökelse komma därpå, ej heller brännoffer eller spisoffer; och intet drickoffer skolen utgjuta därpå.
10 But Aaron shall put a propitiatory-covering upon the horns thereof, once in the year: of the blood of the sin-bearer for propitiatory-coverings, once in the year, shall he put a propitiatory-covering thereupon to your generations, most holy, it is to Yahweh.
Och Aron skall en gång om året bringa försoning för dess horn; med blod av försoningssyndoffret skall han en gång om året bringa försoning för det, släkte efter släkte. Det är högheligt för HERREN.
11 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:
12 When thou takest the sum of the sons of Israel, by their numberings, then shall they give every man a propitiatory-covering for his soul to Yahweh, when they are numbered, —that there may be among them no plague when they are numbered.
När du räknar antalet av Israels barn, nämligen av dem som inmönstras, skall vid mönstringen var och en giva åt HERREN en försoningsgåva för sig, på det att ingen hemsökelse må drabba dem vid mönstringen.
13 This, shall they give—every one that passeth over to them that have been numbered—a half-shekel by the shekel of the sanctuary, —the shekel is twenty gerahs—the half-shekel, shall be a heave-offering to Yahweh.
Detta är vad var och en som upptages bland de inmönstrade skall giva: en halv sikel, efter helgedomssikelns vikt -- sikeln räknad till tjugu gera -- en halv sikel såsom offergärd åt HERREN,
14 All who pass over to the numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, shall give the heave-offering of Yahweh.
Var och en som upptages bland de inmönstrade, var och en som är tjugu år gammal eller därutöver, skall giva detta såsom offergärd åt HERREN.
15 The rich, shall not give more, and the poor, shall not give less, than the half-shekel, —when they give the heave-offering of Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Den rike skall icke giva mer och den fattige icke mindre än en halv sikel, när I given offergärden åt HERREN, till att bringa försoning för eder.
16 So then thou shalt take the silver for the propitiatory-coverings from the sons of Israel, and shalt expend it upon the service of the tent of meeting, —thus shall it be for the sons of Israel as a memorial before Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Och du skall taga försoningspenningarna av Israels barn och använda dem till arbetet vid uppenbarelsetältet. Så skall ske, för att Israels barn må vara i åminnelse inför HERRENS ansikte, och för att försoning må bringas för eder.
17 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:
18 And thou shalt make a laver of bronze, and its stand of bronze for bathing, —and thou shalt place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put therein water.
Du skall ock göra ett bäcken av koppar med en fotställning av koppar, till tvagning, och ställa det mellan uppenbarelsetältet och altaret och gjuta vatten däri.
19 So shall Aaron and his sons bathe thereat, —their hands, and their feet.
Och Aron och hans söner skola två sina händer och fötter med vatten därur.
20 When they enter the tent of meeting, they shall bathe with water so shall they not die, —or when they approach unto the altar to minister, to burn as incense an altar-flame to Yahweh:
När de gå in i uppenbarelsetältet, skola de två sig med vatten, på del att de icke må dö; så ock när de träda fram till altaret för att göra tjänst genom att antända eldsoffer åt HERREN.
21 so then they shall bathe their hands and their feet and shall not die, —and it shall be to them an age-abiding statute, to him and to his seed to their generations.
De skola två sina händer och fötter, på det att de icke må dö. Och detta skall vara en evärdlig stadga för dem: för honom själv och hans avkomlingar från släkte till släkte.
22 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade:
23 Thou, therefore, take to thee—principal spices, —self-flowing myrrh, five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon, half as much, two hundred and fifty, and, fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
Tag dig ock kryddor av yppersta slag: fem hundra siklar myrradropp, hälften så mycket kanel av finaste slag, alltså två hundra femtio siklar, likaledes två hundra femtio siklar kalmus av finaste slag,
24 and, cassia, five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, —and, oil olive, a hin.
därtill fem hundra siklar kassia, efter helgedomssikelns vikt, och en hin olivolja.
25 And thou shalt make it an oil for holy anointing, a compounded perfume the work of a perfumer, —an oil for holy anointing, shall it be.
Och du skall av detta göra en helig smörjelseolja, en konstmässigt beredd salva; det skall vara en helig smörjelseolja.
26 And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, —and the ark of the testimony;
Och du skall därmed smörja uppenbarelsetältet, vittnesbördets ark,
27 and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand, and its utensils, —and the incense altar,
bordet med alla dess tillbehör, ljusstaken med dess tillbehör, rökelsealtaret,
28 and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, -and the laver, and its stand.
brännoffersaltaret med alla dess tillbehör, äntligen bäckenet med dess fotställning.
29 So shalt thou hallow them, and they shall be most holy, —whosoever toucheth them, shall be holy.
Och du skall helga dem, så att de bliva högheliga; var och en som sedan kommer vid dem bliver helig.
30 Aaron also, and his sons, shalt thou anoint, —so shalt thou hallow them to minister as priests unto me.
Och Aron och hans söner skall du smörja, och du skall helga dem till att bliva präster åt mig.
31 And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, An oil for holy anointing, shall this be to me, to your generations.
Och till Israels barn skall du tala och säga: Detta skall vara min heliga smörjelseolja hos eder, från släkte till släkte.
32 Upon the flesh of a common man, shall it not be poured, and according to the proportions thereof, shall ye not make any like it, —holy, it is, holy, shall it be to you.
På ingen annan människas kropp må den komma, ej heller mån I göra någon annan så sammansatt som denna. Helig är den, helig skall den vara för eder.
33 Whosoever compoundeth any like it, and whosoever bestoweth thereof upon a stranger, shall be cut off from among his people.
Den som bereder en sådan salva, och den som använder något därav på någon främmande, han skall utrotas ur sin släkt.
34 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Take to thee aromatic spices stacte and onycha, and galbanum, —aromatic spices, and pure frankincense, —weight for weight, shall it be.
Ytterligare sade HERREN till Mose: Tag dig välluktande kryddor, stakte och sjönagel och galban, och jämte dessa vällukter rent rökelseharts, lika mycket av vart slag,
35 And thou shalt make of it an incense, a perfume the work of a perfumer, —salted, pure, holy.
och gör därav rökelse, en konstmässigt beredd blandning, saltad, ren, helig.
36 And thou shalt beat some of it to powder, and place thereof before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, where I am to meet with thee, —most holy, shall it be to you.
Och en del av den skall du stöta till pulver och lägga framför vittnesbördet i uppenbarelsetältet, där jag vill uppenbara mig för dig. Höghelig skall den vara för eder.
37 And the incense which thou shalt make, according to the proportions thereof, ye shall not make for yourselves, —holy, shall it be to thee, to Yahweh.
Och ingen annan rökelse mån I göra åt eder så sammansatt som denna skall vara. Helig skall den vara dig för HERREN.
38 Whosoever shall make like it, to smell of it shall be cut off from among his people.
Den som gör sådan för att njuta av dess lukt, han skall utrotas ur sin släkt.
