Exodus 30
1 And thou shalt make an altar, for burning incense, of acacia wood, shalt thou make it:
“Você deve fazer um altar para queimar incenso. Você deve fazer de madeira de acácia.
2 a cubit, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof four square, shall it be, —and two cubits, the height thereof, of the same, [shall be] the horns thereof,
Seu comprimento será de um côvado, e sua largura de um côvado. Será quadrado, e sua altura será de dois côvados. Seus chifres serão de uma só peça com ele.
3 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and thou shalt make to it a border of gold round about.
Cobri-la-á com ouro puro, seu topo, seus lados ao seu redor e seus chifres; e fará uma moldagem de ouro ao seu redor.
4 And, two rings of gold, shalt thou make to it, under the border thereof upon the two corners thereof, shalt thou make them on the two sides thereof, —so shall they become receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.
Você fará dois anéis de ouro para ele sob sua moldagem; em suas duas costelas, em seus dois lados você os fará; e eles serão para lugares para postes com os quais o suportará.
5 And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, —and overlay them with gold.
Você fará os postes de madeira de acácia, e os cobrirá com ouro.
6 And thou shalt place it before the veil, which is by the ark of the testimony, —before the propitiatory which is upon the testimony, where I will meet thee.
O colocareis diante do véu que está junto à arca do pacto, diante do assento de misericórdia que está sobre o pacto, onde eu me encontrarei convosco.
7 And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense, —morning by morning, when he trimmeth the lamps, shall he burn it;
Aarão queimará incenso de especiarias doces sobre ele todas as manhãs. Quando ele cuidar das lâmpadas, ele as queimará.
8 and, when Aaron lighteth the lamps, between the evenings, shall he burn it, —a continual incense before Yahweh, to your generations.
Quando Aaron acender as lâmpadas à noite, ele o queimará, um incenso perpétuo diante de Yahweh através de suas gerações.
9 Ye shall not cause to ascend thereupon strange incense, nor an ascending-sacrifice, nor a meal-offering, —and a drink offering, shall ye not pour out thereupon.
Você não oferecerá sobre ele incenso estranho, nem holocausto, nem oferta de refeição; e não derramará sobre ele oferta de bebida.
10 But Aaron shall put a propitiatory-covering upon the horns thereof, once in the year: of the blood of the sin-bearer for propitiatory-coverings, once in the year, shall he put a propitiatory-covering thereupon to your generations, most holy, it is to Yahweh.
Arão fará expiação em seus chifres uma vez no ano; com o sangue da oferta pelo pecado da expiação uma vez no ano, fará expiação por ela através de vossas gerações. É santíssimo para Yahweh”.
11 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Javé falou a Moisés, dizendo:
12 When thou takest the sum of the sons of Israel, by their numberings, then shall they give every man a propitiatory-covering for his soul to Yahweh, when they are numbered, —that there may be among them no plague when they are numbered.
“Quando você fizer um censo dos filhos de Israel, de acordo com aqueles que são contados entre eles, então cada homem dará um resgate por sua alma a Javé quando os contar, para que não haja peste entre eles quando os contar.
13 This, shall they give—every one that passeth over to them that have been numbered—a half-shekel by the shekel of the sanctuary, —the shekel is twenty gerahs—the half-shekel, shall be a heave-offering to Yahweh.
Eles darão isto, todos os que passarem para aqueles que forem contados, meio siclo de acordo com o siclo do santuário (o siclo é de vinte gerahs); meio siclo por uma oferta a Iavé.
14 All who pass over to the numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, shall give the heave-offering of Yahweh.
Todos que passarem para aqueles que são contados, a partir de vinte anos de idade, darão a oferenda a Iavé.
15 The rich, shall not give more, and the poor, shall not give less, than the half-shekel, —when they give the heave-offering of Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Os ricos não darão mais, e os pobres não darão menos, do que o meio siclo, quando derem a oferta de Yahweh, para fazer expiação por suas almas.
16 So then thou shalt take the silver for the propitiatory-coverings from the sons of Israel, and shalt expend it upon the service of the tent of meeting, —thus shall it be for the sons of Israel as a memorial before Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Tomareis o dinheiro da expiação dos filhos de Israel, e o designareis para o serviço da Tenda da Reunião; que possa ser um memorial para os filhos de Israel perante Iavé, para fazer expiação por vossas almas”.
17 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Yahweh falou com Moisés, dizendo:
18 And thou shalt make a laver of bronze, and its stand of bronze for bathing, —and thou shalt place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put therein water.
“Você também fará uma bacia de bronze, e sua base de bronze, na qual se deve lavar. Você a colocará entre a Tenda da Reunião e o altar, e nela colocará água.
19 So shall Aaron and his sons bathe thereat, —their hands, and their feet.
Arão e seus filhos lavarão suas mãos e seus pés nela.
20 When they enter the tent of meeting, they shall bathe with water so shall they not die, —or when they approach unto the altar to minister, to burn as incense an altar-flame to Yahweh:
Quando entrarem na Tenda da Reunião, lavarão com água, para não morrer; ou quando se aproximarem do altar para ministrar, para queimar uma oferta feita pelo fogo a Javé.
21 so then they shall bathe their hands and their feet and shall not die, —and it shall be to them an age-abiding statute, to him and to his seed to their generations.
Assim, lavarão as mãos e os pés, para que não morram. Isto será um estatuto para eles para sempre, até mesmo para ele e para seus descendentes através de suas gerações”.
22 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Além disso Yahweh falou a Moisés, dizendo:
23 Thou, therefore, take to thee—principal spices, —self-flowing myrrh, five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon, half as much, two hundred and fifty, and, fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
“Também tome especiarias finas: de mirra líquida, quinhentos shekels; e de canela perfumada pela metade, até duzentos e cinqüenta; e de cana perfumada, duzentos e cinqüenta;
24 and, cassia, five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, —and, oil olive, a hin.
e de cássia quinhentos, de acordo com o siclo do santuário; e um hin de azeite de oliva.
25 And thou shalt make it an oil for holy anointing, a compounded perfume the work of a perfumer, —an oil for holy anointing, shall it be.
Você o transformará em um óleo sagrado da unção, um perfume composto segundo a arte do perfumista: será um óleo sagrado da unção.
26 And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, —and the ark of the testimony;
Você deverá usá-lo para ungir a Tenda da Reunião, a arca da aliança,
27 and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand, and its utensils, —and the incense altar,
a mesa e todos os seus artigos, o suporte de lâmpada e seus acessórios, o altar do incenso,
28 and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, -and the laver, and its stand.
o altar do holocausto com todos os seus utensílios, e a bacia com sua base.
29 So shalt thou hallow them, and they shall be most holy, —whosoever toucheth them, shall be holy.
santificá-los-eis, para que sejam santíssimos. Tudo o que os tocar será sagrado.
30 Aaron also, and his sons, shalt thou anoint, —so shalt thou hallow them to minister as priests unto me.
ungirás Aarão e seus filhos, e os santificarás, para que possam ministrar-me no ofício sacerdotal.
31 And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, An oil for holy anointing, shall this be to me, to your generations.
Falareis aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: “Este será para mim um óleo sagrado de unção através de vossas gerações”.
32 Upon the flesh of a common man, shall it not be poured, and according to the proportions thereof, shall ye not make any like it, —holy, it is, holy, shall it be to you.
Não será derramado sobre a carne do homem e não fará nenhum semelhante, de acordo com sua composição. Ele é sagrado. Será santo para vós.
33 Whosoever compoundeth any like it, and whosoever bestoweth thereof upon a stranger, shall be cut off from among his people.
Quem quer que compõe algo parecido, ou quem quer que coloque algo parecido em um estranho, será cortado de seu povo'”.
34 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Take to thee aromatic spices stacte and onycha, and galbanum, —aromatic spices, and pure frankincense, —weight for weight, shall it be.
Yahweh disse a Moisés: “Tome para si especiarias doces, resina de goma, onycha e gálbano: especiarias doces com puro incenso. Haverá um peso igual de cada uma.
35 And thou shalt make of it an incense, a perfume the work of a perfumer, —salted, pure, holy.
Você deve fazer dele um incenso, um perfume segundo a arte do perfumista, temperado com sal, puro e santo.
36 And thou shalt beat some of it to powder, and place thereof before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, where I am to meet with thee, —most holy, shall it be to you.
Você deve bater um pouco dele muito pequeno, e colocar um pouco dele antes do convênio na Tenda da Reunião, onde eu me encontrarei com você. Será para vocês muito santo.
37 And the incense which thou shalt make, according to the proportions thereof, ye shall not make for yourselves, —holy, shall it be to thee, to Yahweh.
Não fareis este incenso, de acordo com sua composição, para vós mesmos: ele vos será sagrado para Yahweh.
38 Whosoever shall make like it, to smell of it shall be cut off from among his people.
Quem quer que faça algo assim, para cheirá-lo, será cortado de seu povo”.
