< Exodus 30 >
1 And thou shalt make an altar, for burning incense, of acacia wood, shalt thou make it:
“Onookola ekyoto mu miti gya akasiya, okwoterezangako obubaane.
2 a cubit, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof four square, shall it be, —and two cubits, the height thereof, of the same, [shall be] the horns thereof,
Kya kwenkanankana, sentimita amakumi ana mu ttaano buli ludda mu buwanvu ne mu bugazi; era kinaabeera n’obugulumivu bwa sentimita kyenda. Kubeeko amayembe amakole mu muti ogw’ekyoto nga si mayungeko buyunzi.
3 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and thou shalt make to it a border of gold round about.
Ekyoto okiteekeko zaabu kyonna, waggulu ne mu mbiriizi, ne ku mayembe. Era kikolereko omuge ogwa zaabu okukyetooloola.
4 And, two rings of gold, shalt thou make to it, under the border thereof upon the two corners thereof, shalt thou make them on the two sides thereof, —so shall they become receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.
Wansi w’omuge, mu mbiriizi z’ekyoto zombi, kolerawo empeta bbiri eza zaabu, okuyisaamu emisituliro gyakyo nga waliwo gye kitwalibwa.
5 And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, —and overlay them with gold.
Emisituliro ogikole mu muti gwa akasiya, era ogiteekeko zaabu.
6 And thou shalt place it before the veil, which is by the ark of the testimony, —before the propitiatory which is upon the testimony, where I will meet thee.
Ekyoto kitereeze mu maaso g’eggigi awali essanduuko ey’endagaano, awali ekisaanikira, ye ntebe ey’okusaasira, ekiri ku Ndagaano; awo we nnaakusisinkana.
7 And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense, —morning by morning, when he trimmeth the lamps, shall he burn it;
“Alooni anaayotezanga obubaane buli nkya, bw’anajjanga okulongoosa ettaala.
8 and, when Aaron lighteth the lamps, between the evenings, shall he burn it, —a continual incense before Yahweh, to your generations.
Era Alooni bw’anajjanga okukoleeza ettaala akawungeezi, anyookezenga obubaane mu maaso ga Mukama mu mirembe gyammwe gyonna.
9 Ye shall not cause to ascend thereupon strange incense, nor an ascending-sacrifice, nor a meal-offering, —and a drink offering, shall ye not pour out thereupon.
Ku kyoto kino tojja kwoterezaako bubaane bulala, wadde ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa, newaakubadde eky’eŋŋaano era tojja kufukako ekiweebwayo eky’ekyokunywa.
10 But Aaron shall put a propitiatory-covering upon the horns thereof, once in the year: of the blood of the sin-bearer for propitiatory-coverings, once in the year, shall he put a propitiatory-covering thereupon to your generations, most holy, it is to Yahweh.
Alooni anaakolanga omukolo ogw’okulangiririra ku mayembe gaakyo omulundi gumu mu buli mwaka. Okulongoosa kuno okwa buli mwaka kunaakolebwanga n’omusaayi ogw’ekiweebwayo olw’ekibi mu mirembe gyammwe gyonna egigenda okujja. Ekyoto kya Mukama kino kitukuvu nnyo.”
11 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Awo Mukama n’agamba Musa nti,
12 When thou takest the sum of the sons of Israel, by their numberings, then shall they give every man a propitiatory-covering for his soul to Yahweh, when they are numbered, —that there may be among them no plague when they are numbered.
“Bw’onoobalanga abaana ba Isirayiri, buli gw’onoobalanga anaasasulanga omuwendo eri Mukama olw’okununula obulamu bwe mu kiseera mw’abaliddwa, kawumpuli aleme okubagwamu.
13 This, shall they give—every one that passeth over to them that have been numbered—a half-shekel by the shekel of the sanctuary, —the shekel is twenty gerahs—the half-shekel, shall be a heave-offering to Yahweh.
Buli abalibwa ne yeegatta ku bamaze okubalibwa, anaawaangayo gulaamu mukaaga eri Mukama, ng’okubala okw’Awatukuvu okutongole bwe kuli. Sekeri emu yenkanankana ne gera amakumi abiri. Gulaamu omukaaga zinaaweebwangayo ng’ekiweebwayo eri Mukama.
14 All who pass over to the numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, shall give the heave-offering of Yahweh.
Bonna abeegatta ku bamaze okubalibwa, okuva ku b’emyaka amakumi abiri egy’obukulu, n’okweyongerayo, anaawaayo ekiweebwayo ekyo eri Mukama.
15 The rich, shall not give more, and the poor, shall not give less, than the half-shekel, —when they give the heave-offering of Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Abagagga tebaawengayo kusussa kitundu kya sekeri, n’omwavu taawengayo kitatuuka kitundu kya sekeri bwe munaawangayo ekiweebwayo eri Mukama olw’okwetangirira obulamu bwammwe.
16 So then thou shalt take the silver for the propitiatory-coverings from the sons of Israel, and shalt expend it upon the service of the tent of meeting, —thus shall it be for the sons of Israel as a memorial before Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Ensimbi abaana ba Isirayiri ze banaakuwa onoozikozesanga ku mirimu gy’Eweema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu. Kinaabanga ekijjukizo mu maaso ga Mukama, olw’okwetangirira obulamu bwammwe.”
17 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Awo Mukama n’agamba Musa nti,
18 And thou shalt make a laver of bronze, and its stand of bronze for bathing, —and thou shalt place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put therein water.
“Onookola ebbensani enaabirwamu nga ya kikomo ne ky’etuulako nga kya kikomo. Giteeke wakati w’ekyoto n’Eweema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu; osseemu amazzi.
19 So shall Aaron and his sons bathe thereat, —their hands, and their feet.
Alooni ne batabani be ge banaakozesanga okunaaba engalo zaabwe n’ebigere byabwe.
20 When they enter the tent of meeting, they shall bathe with water so shall they not die, —or when they approach unto the altar to minister, to burn as incense an altar-flame to Yahweh:
Bwe banaabanga bagenda okuyingira mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, banaanaabanga amazzi, baleme okufa. Era ne bwe banajjanga ku kyoto okuweereza nga bawaayo eri Mukama ekiweebwayo ekyokye n’omuliro,
21 so then they shall bathe their hands and their feet and shall not die, —and it shall be to them an age-abiding statute, to him and to his seed to their generations.
banaanaabanga engalo zaabwe n’ebigere byabwe, baleme okufa. Kino kinaabanga kiragiro eky’olubeerera eri Alooni n’ezzadde lye emirembe gyonna.”
22 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Awo Mukama n’agamba Musa nti,
23 Thou, therefore, take to thee—principal spices, —self-flowing myrrh, five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon, half as much, two hundred and fifty, and, fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
“Ddira ebyakawoowo bino eby’omuwendo: Kiro mukaaga ez’omugavu omuyenge omuka, ne kiro ssatu eza kinamoni, ne kiro ssatu eza kalamu omuwoomerevu;
24 and, cassia, five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, —and, oil olive, a hin.
ne kiro mukaaga eza kasiya, ne lita nnya ez’amafuta g’omuzeeyituuni; ng’ebipimo by’obuzito bw’omu Watukuvu bwe biri.
25 And thou shalt make it an oil for holy anointing, a compounded perfume the work of a perfumer, —an oil for holy anointing, shall it be.
Bino byonna obikolemu amafuta amatukuvu ag’okusiiga, nga bigattikibbwa bulungi ng’ebikoleddwa omutabuzi w’eby’akawoowo, ne galyoka gabeera amafuta amatukuvu ag’okufukibwangako.
26 And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, —and the ark of the testimony;
Olyoke osiige n’amafuta ago Eweema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, n’Essanduuko ey’Endagaano,
27 and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand, and its utensils, —and the incense altar,
n’emmeeza n’ebibeerako byonna, n’ekikondo ky’ettaala n’ebyakyo byonna, n’ekyoto eky’obubaane,
28 and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, -and the laver, and its stand.
n’ekyoto eky’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa n’ebikozesebwako, n’ebbensani ne kw’etuula.
29 So shalt thou hallow them, and they shall be most holy, —whosoever toucheth them, shall be holy.
Obyawule bifuuke bitukuvu nnyo, era buli ekinaabikomangako nga nakyo kifuuka kitukuvu.
30 Aaron also, and his sons, shalt thou anoint, —so shalt thou hallow them to minister as priests unto me.
“Alooni ne batabani be onoobafukako amafuta, obaawule, balyoke bampeerezenga nga bakabona.
31 And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, An oil for holy anointing, shall this be to me, to your generations.
Era abaana ba Isirayiri obagambe nti, ‘Gano ge ganaabanga amafuta gange amatukuvu ag’okufukibwangako, mu mirembe gyammwe gyonna.
32 Upon the flesh of a common man, shall it not be poured, and according to the proportions thereof, shall ye not make any like it, —holy, it is, holy, shall it be to you.
Tegajjanga kufukibwa ku bantu ba bulijjo; era tewabangawo amafuta amalala agatabulwa mu ngeri eno. Gano matukuvu, era mujjukirenga nti matukuvu.
33 Whosoever compoundeth any like it, and whosoever bestoweth thereof upon a stranger, shall be cut off from among his people.
Omuntu yenna anaakolanga amafuta ga kalifuuwa okufaanana ne gano, oba anaafukanga gano ku muntu yenna atali kabona, anaawaŋŋangusibwanga, n’ava mu bantu b’ewaabwe.’”
34 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Take to thee aromatic spices stacte and onycha, and galbanum, —aromatic spices, and pure frankincense, —weight for weight, shall it be.
Awo Mukama n’agamba Musa nti, “Ddira ebyakaloosa bino eby’omuwendo ennyo: sitakite, n’onuka, ne galabano, n’obubaane obuka, nga byenkanankana obuzito,
35 And thou shalt make of it an incense, a perfume the work of a perfumer, —salted, pure, holy.
Okolemu ebyakaloosa eby’omuwendo, bibe ng’ebikoleddwa omukugu w’ebyakaloosa. Obiteekemu omunnyo bibeere birongoofu era nga bitukuvu.
36 And thou shalt beat some of it to powder, and place thereof before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, where I am to meet with thee, —most holy, shall it be to you.
Onoggyako ekitundu n’okisa ne kifuuka lufufugge, n’okiteeka okwolekera Essanduuko ey’Endagaano mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, awo we nnaakusisinkananga. Ekyo kinaabeeranga kitukuvu nnyo, gy’oli.
37 And the incense which thou shalt make, according to the proportions thereof, ye shall not make for yourselves, —holy, shall it be to thee, to Yahweh.
Temwekoleranga ebyakaloosa ebyammwe ku bwammwe mu ntabula eno; bino binaabanga bitukuvu era nga bya Mukama.
38 Whosoever shall make like it, to smell of it shall be cut off from among his people.
Omuntu yenna alikola ebibifaanana yeesanyuse olw’akaloosa kaabyo, anaawaŋŋangusibwanga, n’ava mu bantu b’ewaabwe.”
