< Exodus 25 >

1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Na ka korero a Ihowa ki a Mohi, ka mea,
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, that they take for me a heave-offering, —of every man whose heart urgeth him, shall ye take my heave-offering.
Korero atu ki nga tama a Iharaira, kia maua mai e ratou he whakahere maku: me tango e koutou te whakahere maku i nga tangata katoa e hihiko noa mai ana o ratou ngakau.
3 And, this is the heave-offering which ye shall take of them, —gold and silver and bronze;
Ko te whakahere ano tenei e tangohia e koutou i a ratou; he koura, he hiriwa, he parahi,
4 and blue, and purple, and crimson and fine linen, and goat’s hair;
Me te kakahu puru, me te papaura, me te ngangana, me te rinena pai, me te huruhuru koati,
5 and rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins and acacia wood;
Me nga hiako hipi kua oti te whakawhero, me nga hiako pateri, me etahi rakau, he hitimi;
6 oil for giving light, —perfumes for the anointing oil, and for fragrant incense;
Te hinu mo te whakamarama, nga mea kakara mo te hinu whakawahi, mo te whakakakara reka hoki,
7 onyx stones, and setting stones, —for the ephod and for the breastpiece:
Nga kohatu onika, me nga kohatu hei whakanoho ki te epora, ki te kouma.
8 So shall they make for me a sanctuary, —and I will make my habitation in their midst:
A kia hanga e ratou he wahi tapu moku; kia noho ai ahau i waenganui i a ratou.
9 according to all that, I, am shewing thee, the pattern of the habitation, and the pattern of all the furnishings thereof, even so, shall ye make it.
10 And they shall make an ark of acacia wood, -two cubits and a half, the length thereof and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the height thereof.
Me hanga ano hoki e ratou he aaka, ki te hitimi te rakau: kia rua nga whatianga me te hawhe te roa, kia kotahi whatianga me te hawhe te whanui, a kia kotahi whatianga me te hawhe te teitei.
11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without, shalt thou overlay it, —and thou shalt make thereon a rim of gold, round about.
A me whakakikorua e koe ki te koura parakore; me whakakikorua e koe taua mea, a roto, a waho, me hanga ano hoki e koe he niao koura a tawhio noa.
12 And thou shalt cast for it four rings of gold, and shalt put them on the four feet thereof, —even two rings on the one side thereof, and two rings on the other side thereof.
13 And thou shalt make staves, of acacia wood, —and shalt overlay them with gold.
Me hanga ano e koe etahi rakau amo, ki te hitimi te rakau, ka whakakikorua hoki ki te koura;
14 And thou shalt bring in the staves into the rings, on the sides of the ark, —to bear the ark therewith,
15 In the rings of the ark, shall remain the staves, —they shall not be removed therefrom.
16 And thou shalt put into the ark, —the testimony which I will give unto thee.
17 And thou shalt make a propitiatory, of pure gold, —two cubits and a half, the length thereof, and, a cubit and a half, the breadth thereof,
Me hanga ano e koe te taupoki ki te koura parakore: kia rua nga whatianga me te hawhe tona roa, kia kotahi hoki whatianga me te hawhe tona whanui.
18 And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold, —of beaten work, shalt thou make them, out of the two ends of the propitiatory.
Me hanga ano etahi kerupima, kia rua, he mea patu te koura e hanga ai aua mea a puta noa, mo nga pito e rua o te taupoki.
19 And make thou one cherub out of this end, and the other cherub out of that end, —out of the propitiatory, shall ye make the cherubim upon the two ends thereof.
Me hanga hoki tetahi kerupi ki tetahi pito, me tetahi kerupi ki tetahi pito: me hono nga kerupima ki te taupoki, ki ona pito e rua.
20 And the cherubim shall be spreading out two wings on high—making a shelter with their wings over the propitiatory, with their faces one towards the other, —towards the propitiatory, shall be the faces of the cherubim.
21 And thou shalt put the propitiatory upon the ark above, —and in the ark, shalt thou put the testimony, which I will give unto thee.
22 And I will meet with thee there, and will speak with thee from off the propitiatory, from between the two cherubim, which are upon the ark of the testimony, —whatsoever I may give thee in charge, for the sons of Israel.
23 And thou shalt make a table, of acacia wood, two cubits, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
Me hanga ano e koe tetahi tepu, ki te hitimi te rakau: kia rua nga whatianga te roa, kia kotahi whatianga te whanui, kia kotahi whatianga me te hawhe te teitei.
24 and thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, —and shalt make thereto a rim of gold, round about;
Me whakakikorua taua mea ki te koura parakore, ka hanga ai i tetahi niao koura mona a tawhio noa.
25 and thou shalt make thereto a border of a handbreadth, round about, —and shalt make a rim of gold to the border thereof, round about;
Me hanga ano he awhi mo taua mea, hei te whanui ringa a tawhio noa; me hanga ano he niao koura mo tona awhi a tawhio noa.
26 and thou shalt make to it four rings of gold, —and shalt place the rings on the four corners which pertain to the four feet thereof:
Me hanga ano etahi mowhiti koura, kia wha, mo taua mea, ka whakanoho ai i nga mowhiti ki nga poti e wha i ona waewae e wha.
27 adjoining the border, shall be the rings, —as receptacles for the staves, for lifting the table;
Hei te taha tonu ake o te awhi nga mowhiti, hei kuhunga atu mo nga amo hei maunga mo te tepu.
28 and thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, and shalt overlay them with gold, —and the table shall be lifted there, with;
He hitimi te rakau e hanga ai e koe nga amo; me whakakikorua ano ki te koura; a ka ai aua mea hei maunga mo te tepu.
29 and thou shalt make its dishes and its pans and its basins and its bowls, for pouring out therewith, —of pure gold, shalt thou make them.
Me hanga ano ona rihi, ona koko, ona kapu, me nga peihana mo nga ringihanga: me hanga ki te koura parakore.
30 And thou shalt place upon the table Presence-bread, before me continually.
31 And thou shalt make a lampstand of pure gold, of beaten work, shall the lampstand be made, even its base and its shaft its cups, its apples, and its blossoms of the same, shall be:
Me hanga ano te turanga rama ki te koura parakore: me patu te mahina o te turanga rama tae noa ki tona take, ki ona peka; ko ona kapu, ko ona puku, me ona puawai he kotahi me ia.
32 with, six branches, coming out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand, out the one side thereof, and three branches of the lampstand, out of the other side thereof:
A kia ono nga peka e puta ake i ona taha; e toru nga peka o te turanga rama i tetahi taha, e toru hoki nga peka o te turanga rama i tetahi taha:
33 three cups like almond-flowers, in the one branch apple and blossom, and, three cups like almond-flowers, in the other branch apple and blossom, so, for the six branches, coming out of the lampstand.
Kia toru nga kapu, he mea rite ki te puawai aramona, te puku, me te puawai, ki te peka kotahi; me nga kapu e toru, he mea rite ki te puawai aramona ki tetahi atu peka, te puku, me te puawai: me pera tonu i nga peka e ono e puta ake ana i te tura nga rama.
34 And in the lampstand itself, four cups, —like almond-flowers—its apples, and its blossoms;
35 and an apple under two branches of the same, and, another apple, under two other branches of the same, and another apple under two other branches, of the same, —for the six branches, coming out of the lampstand:
A e rua ona peka, kia kotahi puku o raro ake, he mea kotahi; e rua ona peka, kia kotahi puku o raro ake, he mea kotahi; e rua ona peka, kia kotahi puku o raro ake, he mea kotahi ano, o nga peka e ono e puta mai ana i te turanga rama.
36 their apples and their branches, of the same, shall be, —all of it, of one beaten work, of pure gold.
No te mea kotahi nga puku, nga peka: ko taua mea katoa, he mea patu, kotahi tonu, he korua parakore.
37 And thou shalt make the lamps thereof seven, and one shall light up its lamps, and it shall give light, over against the face thereof.
Me hanga ona rama e whitu: a me tahu ona rama, hei whakamarama i tona hangaitanga atu.
38 And, its snuffers, and its snuff-trays of pure gold.
Me koura parakore ano ona kuku me ona oko ngarahu.
39 With a talent of pure gold, shall he make it, with all these vessels,
Kia kotahi taranata koura parakore e hanga ai taua mea, me ena oko katoa.
40 And see thou and make them, by the pattern of them, which thou wast caused to behold in the mount
