< Exodus 11 >

1 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Yet one plague, will I bring in upon Pharaoh and upon Egypt, after that, he will let you go from hence, —when he doth let you go, he will, altogether drive, you out from hence.
Afei, Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose sɛ, “Mɛma ɔhaw a ɛtwa toɔ aba Farao ne nʼasase so. Na ɛno akyiri no, ɔbɛma mo akɔ. Nokorɛm, ne ho bɛpere no sɛ mobɛfiri ne ho ama ɔno ara apamo mo afiri ɔman no mu.
2 Speak, I pray you, in the ears of the people, —and let them ask—every man of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, articles of silver and articles of gold.
3 And Yahweh gave the people favour, in the eyes of the Egyptians, —even the man Moses himself, was exceeding great in the land of Egypt, —in the eyes of Pharaoh’s servants and in the eyes of the people.
Awurade maa Misraimfoɔ no hunuu Israelfoɔ no mmɔbɔ, na Mose nso yɛɛ onipa kɛseɛ a na Farao mpanimfoɔ ne Misraimfoɔ no bu no yie wɔ ɔman no mu.
4 And Moses said, Thus saith Yahweh, —About midnight, am, I, going forth in the midst of Egypt;
Mose bɔɔ Farao amaneɛ sɛ, “Awurade se menka nkyerɛ wo sɛ, ‘Anadwo nnɔndumienu mɛtwam wɔ Misraim asase so.
5 then shall every firstborn in the land of Egypt die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who is sitting on his throne, unto the firstborn of the handmaid who is behind the two millstones, —and every firstborn of beasts;
Na Misraim fie biara mu ɔbabarima panin bɛwu. Ɛfiri Farao babarima panin so, ne dehyeɛ a ɔbɛdi nʼadeɛ, ne ɔsomfoɔ mu ɔsomfoɔ kumaa koraa ba panin ne ne nyɛmmoa abakan nyinaa bɛwuwu.
6 then shall there be a great outcry, in all the land of Egypt, —such, as never was and, such, as shall not be again.
Na owuo no ho agyaadwotwa bɛduru Misraim asase so nyinaa. Awerɛhoɔ a ɛte saa mmaa Misraim asase so da, na ebi nso remma da bio.
7 But against none of the sons of Israel, shall a dog sharpen his tongue, neither against man nor beast, —that ye may know that Yahweh maketh a difference between Egypt and Israel.
8 So shall all these thy servants come down unto me and bow themselves down to me saying—Go forth, thou and all the people who are in thy footsteps, and after that, will I go forth. And he went forth from Pharaoh, in a heat of anger.
Wo mpanimfoɔ yi nyinaa bɛtu mmirika, adi mʼakyiri, akoto asrɛ sɛ, ‘Yɛpa wo kyɛw, firi ha ntɛm na kɔfa wo nkurɔfoɔ nyinaa ka wo ho kɔ.’ Sɛ ɛba saa a ansa na mɛkɔ!” Mose wiee kasa no, ɔde abufuhyeɛ firii ahemfie hɔ kɔeɛ.
9 And Yahweh had said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you, —that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
Na Awurade aka akyerɛ Mose sɛ, “Asɛm a wobɛka no, Farao rentie. Na ɛno so na mɛgyina ayɛ anwanwadeɛ de ada me tumi adi.”
10 So then, Moses and Aaron, did all these wonders before Pharaoh, —but Yahweh let Pharaoh’s heart wax bold, and he did not let the sons of Israel go out of his land.
Ɛwom sɛ Mose ne Aaron yɛɛ saa anwanwadeɛ no nyinaa wɔ Farao anim nanso Awurade pirim nʼakoma sɛdeɛ ɔremma nnipa no mfiri asase no so nkɔ.
