< Exodus 11 >

1 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Yet one plague, will I bring in upon Pharaoh and upon Egypt, after that, he will let you go from hence, —when he doth let you go, he will, altogether drive, you out from hence.
Afei, Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose se, “Mɛma ɔhaw a etwa to aba Farao ne nʼasase so. Na ɛno akyi no, ɔbɛma mo akɔ. Nokware, ne ho bɛpere no sɛ mubefi ne ho ama ɔno ara apam mo afi ɔman no mu.
2 Speak, I pray you, in the ears of the people, —and let them ask—every man of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, articles of silver and articles of gold.
Monka nkyerɛ Israelfo mmarima ne mmaa nyinaa se wɔnsrɛ wɔn amannifo Misraimfo no na wɔmma wɔn sikakɔkɔɔ ne dwetɛ adwinne.”
3 And Yahweh gave the people favour, in the eyes of the Egyptians, —even the man Moses himself, was exceeding great in the land of Egypt, —in the eyes of Pharaoh’s servants and in the eyes of the people.
Awurade maa Misraimfo no huu Israelfo no mmɔbɔ, na Mose nso yɛɛ onipa kɛse a na Farao mpanyimfo ne Misraimfo no bu no yiye wɔ ɔman no mu.
4 And Moses said, Thus saith Yahweh, —About midnight, am, I, going forth in the midst of Egypt;
Mose bɔɔ Farao amanneɛ se, “Nea Awurade se ni, ‘Anadwo nnɔndumien metwa mu wɔ Misraim asase so.
5 then shall every firstborn in the land of Egypt die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who is sitting on his throne, unto the firstborn of the handmaid who is behind the two millstones, —and every firstborn of beasts;
Na Misraim fi biara mu ɔbabarima panyin bewu. Efi Farao babarima panyin so, ne dehye a obedi nʼade, ne somfo mu somfo kumaa koraa ba panyin ne ne nyɛmmoa abakan nyinaa bewuwu.
6 then shall there be a great outcry, in all the land of Egypt, —such, as never was and, such, as shall not be again.
Na owu no ho agyaadwotwa bedu Misraim asase so nyinaa. Awerɛhow a ɛte saa mmaa Misraim asase so da, na bi nso remma da bio.
7 But against none of the sons of Israel, shall a dog sharpen his tongue, neither against man nor beast, —that ye may know that Yahweh maketh a difference between Egypt and Israel.
Na Israelfo mu de, biribiara bɛyɛ dwoodwoo na ɔkraman mpo rempɔw.’ Na ɛbɛma woahu sɛ, Awurade de nsonoe ato Misraimfo ne Israelfo ntam!
8 So shall all these thy servants come down unto me and bow themselves down to me saying—Go forth, thou and all the people who are in thy footsteps, and after that, will I go forth. And he went forth from Pharaoh, in a heat of anger.
Wo mpanyimfo yi nyinaa betu mmirika, adi mʼakyi, akotow asrɛ sɛ, ‘Yɛpa wo kyɛw, fi ha ntɛm na kɔfa wo nkurɔfo nyinaa ka wo ho kɔ.’ Sɛ ɛba saa a ansa na mɛkɔ!” Mose wiee kasa no, ɔde abufuwhyew fii ahemfi hɔ kɔe.
9 And Yahweh had said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you, —that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
Na Awurade aka akyerɛ Mose se, “Asɛm a wobɛka no, Farao rentie. Na ɛno so na megyina ayɛ anwonwade de ada me tumi adi.”
10 So then, Moses and Aaron, did all these wonders before Pharaoh, —but Yahweh let Pharaoh’s heart wax bold, and he did not let the sons of Israel go out of his land.
Ɛwɔ mu sɛ Mose ne Aaron yɛɛ saa anwonwade no nyinaa wɔ Farao anim de, nanso Awurade pirim ne koma sɛnea ɔremma nnipa no mfi asase no so nkɔ.
