Ephesians 6
1 Ye children, be obedient unto your parents [in the Lord], for this is right:
เห พาลกา: , ยูยํ ปฺรภุมฺ อุทฺทิศฺย ปิโตฺรราชฺญาคฺราหิโณ ภวต ยตสฺตตฺ นฺยายฺยํฯ
2 Honour thy father and thy mother, —which indeed is the first commandment with promise,
ตฺวํ นิชปิตรํ มาตรญฺจ สมฺมนฺยเสฺวติ โย วิธิ: ส ปฺรติชฺญายุกฺต: ปฺรถโม วิธิ:
3 That it may come to be, well with thee, and thou shalt be long-lived upon the land.
ผลตสฺตสฺมาตฺ ตว กลฺยาณํ เทเศ จ ทีรฺฆกาลมฺ อายุ รฺภวิษฺยตีติฯ
4 And ye fathers, be not provoking your children to anger, but be nourishing them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
อปรํ เห ปิตร: , ยูยํ สฺวพาลกานฺ มา โรษยต กินฺตุ ปฺรโภ รฺวินีตฺยาเทศาภฺยำ ตานฺ วินยตฯ
5 Ye servants, be obedient unto them who, after the flesh, are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto the Christ;
เห ทาสา: , ยูยํ ขฺรีษฺฏมฺ อุทฺทิศฺย สภยา: กมฺปานฺวิตาศฺจ ภูตฺวา สรลานฺต: กรไณไรหิกปฺรภูนามฺ อาชฺญาคฺราหิโณ ภวตฯ
6 Not by way of eye-service as man-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God, from the soul,
ทฺฤษฺฏิโคจรียปริจรฺยฺยยา มานุเษโภฺย โรจิตุํ มา ยตธฺวํ กินฺตุ ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ทาสา อิว นิวิษฺฏมโนภิรีศฺจรเสฺยจฺฉำ สาธยตฯ
7 with good will, rendering service—as unto the Lord, and not unto men;
มานวานฺ อนุทฺทิศฺย ปฺรภุเมโวทฺทิศฺย สทฺภาเวน ทาสฺยกรฺมฺม กุรุธฺวํฯ
8 Knowing that, each one, whatsoever he may do that is good, the same, shall he receive back from the Lord, whether bond or free.
ทาสมุกฺตโย เรฺยน ยตฺ สตฺกรฺมฺม กฺริยเต เตน ตสฺย ผลํ ปฺรภุโต ลปฺสฺยต อิติ ชานีต จฯ
9 And ye masters, the same things, be doing towards them, forbearing your threat—knowing that, both their and your Master, is in the heavens, and, respect of persons, there is none, with him.
อปรํ เห ปฺรภว: , ยุษฺมาภิ รฺภรฺตฺสนํ วิหาย ตานฺ ปฺรติ นฺยายฺยาจรณํ กฺริยตำ ยศฺจ กสฺยาปิ ปกฺษปาตํ น กโรติ ยุษฺมากมปิ ตาทฺฤศ เอก: ปฺรภุ: สฺวรฺเค วิทฺยต อิติ ชฺญายตำฯ
10 For the rest, be empowering yourselves in the Lord, and in the grasp of his might:
อธิกนฺตุ เห ภฺราตร: , ยูยํ ปฺรภุนา ตสฺย วิกฺรมยุกฺตศกฺตฺยา จ พลวนฺโต ภวตฯ
11 Put on the complete armour of God, with a view to your having power to stand against the strategies of the adversary;
ยูยํ ยตฺ ศยตานศฺฉลานิ นิวารยิตุํ ศกฺนุถ ตทรฺถมฺ อีศฺวรียสุสชฺชำ ปริธทฺธฺวํฯ
12 Because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but, against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world-holders, of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenlies. (aiōn g165)
ยต: เกวลํ รกฺตมำสาภฺยามฺ อิติ นหิ กินฺตุ กรฺตฺฤตฺวปรากฺรมยุกฺไตสฺติมิรราชฺยเสฺยหโลกสฺยาธิปติภิ: สฺวรฺโคทฺภไว รฺทุษฺฏาตฺมภิเรว สารฺทฺธมฺ อสฺมาภิ รฺยุทฺธํ กฺริยเตฯ (aiōn g165)
13 For this cause, take up the complete armour of God, in order that ye may receive power to withstand in the evil day, and, all things, having accomplished, to stand!
อโต เหโต รฺยูยํ ยยา สํกุเล ทิเน'วสฺถาตุํ สรฺวฺวาณิ ปราชิตฺย ทฺฤฒา: สฺถาตุญฺจ ศกฺษฺยถ ตามฺ อีศฺวรียสุสชฺชำ คฺฤหฺลีตฯ
14 Stand therefore, —having girded your loins with truth, and put on the breastplate of righteousness,
วสฺตุตสฺตุ สตฺยเตฺวน ศฺฤงฺขเลน กฏึ พทฺธฺวา ปุเณฺยน วรฺมฺมณา วกฺษ อาจฺฉาทฺย
15 And shod your feet with the readiness of the glad-message of peace;
ศานฺเต: สุวารฺตฺตยา ชาตมฺ อุตฺสาหํ ปาทุกายุคลํ ปเท สมรฺปฺย ติษฺฐตฯ
16 With all, having taken up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall have power, all the ignited darts of the wicked one, to quench;
เยน จ ทุษฺฏาตฺมโน'คฺนิพาณานฺ สรฺวฺวานฺ นิรฺวฺวาปยิตุํ ศกฺษฺยถ ตาทฺฤศํ สรฺวฺวาจฺฉาทกํ ผลกํ วิศฺวาสํ ธารยตฯ
17 And, the helmet of salvation, welcome ye, and the sword of the spirit, which is what God hath spoken,
ศิรสฺตฺรํ ปริตฺราณมฺ อาตฺมน: ขงฺคญฺเจศฺวรสฺย วากฺยํ ธารยตฯ
18 With all prayer and supplication, praying in every season, in spirit, and, thereunto, watching, with all perseverance and supplication, for all the saints, —
สรฺวฺวสมเย สรฺวฺวยาจเนน สรฺวฺวปฺรารฺถเนน จาตฺมนา ปฺรารฺถนำ กุรุธฺวํ ตทรฺถํ ทฺฤฒากางฺกฺษยา ชาคฺรต: สรฺเวฺวษำ ปวิตฺรโลกานำ กฺฤเต สทา ปฺรารฺถนำ กุรุธฺวํฯ
19 And on behalf of me; —that, unto me, may be given discourse in the opening of my mouth, with freedom of utterance, to make known the sacred secret [of the glad-message]
อหญฺจ ยสฺย สุสํวาทสฺย ศฺฤงฺขลพทฺธ: ปฺรจารกทูโต'สฺมิ ตมฺ อุปยุกฺเตโนตฺสาเหน ปฺรจารยิตุํ ยถา ศกฺนุยำ
20 In behalf of which I am conducting an embassy in chains, that, therein, I may use freedom of utterance as it is needful for me to speak.
ตถา นิรฺภเยน สฺวเรโณตฺสาเหน จ สุสํวาทสฺย นิคูฒวากฺยปฺรจาราย วกฺตฺฤตา ยตฺ มหฺยํ ทียเต ตทรฺถํ มมาปิ กฺฤเต ปฺรารฺถนำ กุรุธฺวํฯ
21 In order, however, that, ye also, may know the things which relate to me—what I am accomplishing, —all things, shall Tychicus make known unto you, [he] the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord,
อปรํ มม ยาวสฺถาสฺติ ยจฺจ มยา กฺริยเต ตตฺ สรฺวฺวํ ยทฺ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺชฺญายเต ตทรฺถํ ปฺรภุนา ปฺริยภฺราตา วิศฺวาสฺย: ปริจารกศฺจ ตุขิโก ยุษฺมานฺ ตตฺ ชฺญาปยิษฺยติฯ
22 Whom I have sent unto you for this very purpose, that ye may get to know the things concerning us, and he may encourage your hearts.
ยูยํ ยทฺ อสฺมากมฺ อวสฺถำ ชานีถ ยุษฺมากํ มนำสิ จ ยตฺ สานฺตฺวนำ ลภนฺเต ตทรฺถเมวาหํ ยุษฺมากํ สนฺนิธึ ตํ เปฺรษิตวานฯ
23 Peace unto the brethren, and love with faith, —from God our Father, and Lord Jesus Christ.
อปรมฺ อีศฺวร: ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏศฺจ สรฺเวฺวโภฺย ภฺราตฺฤภฺย: ศานฺตึ วิศฺวาสสหิตํ เปฺรม จ เทยาตฺฯ
24 Favour be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptness.
เย เกจิตฺ ปฺรเภา ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏ'กฺษยํ เปฺรม กุรฺวฺวนฺติ ตานฺ ปฺรติ ปฺรสาโท ภูยาตฺฯ ตถาสฺตุฯ
