< Ephesians 2 >

1 [Unto] you also—being dead by your offences and sins,
Ahlana nangmi cun Ngmüimkhya lama nami thiki, isetiakyaküng, pyen käh ngja lü nami mkhyekata phäh ni.
2 In which at one time ye walked, according to the age of the world, according to the prince of the authority of the air, of the spirit that now energiseth in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
Acuna kcün üng am dawkia khawmdeka lam kse läk lü khawlivaa veki ngmüimkhya johitea uknak nami jah kcangnaki. Acuna Ngmüimkhya naw Pamhnam käh kcangnak vaia khyange cun atuha jah pinmanki. (aiōn g165)
3 Among whom also, we all, had our behaviour, at one time, in the covetings of our flesh, doing the things desired by the flesh and the mind, and were children, by nature, of anger—even as the rest, —
Mimi pi amimi akba ve khawi lü ni mtisa hlüeia mimäta pumsae ja mlungkawea titänga mi xüng khawikie. Mi mtisa lama avana kba Pamhnama mlungsonak mi khamei khaiea mi ngkawihkie ni.
4 But, God, being rich in mercy, by reason of the great love wherewith he loved us,
Lüpi Pamhnama a jah mpyeneinak nungmja lü a jah kphyanak pi dämduhki,
5 Although we were dead by our offences, gave us life together with the Christ, —by favour, ye have been saved, —
pyen käh ngja lü Ngmüimkhya lama mkhyea phäh mi thih k'um üng ani naw Khritaw am xünnaka a jah lawpüi ni. Pamhnama bäkhäknak am küikyannak nami yahki.
6 And raised us up together, and seated us together in the heavenlies, in Christ:
Khritaw Jesuh üng mi yümmatnak am ani naw jah mtho be lü ani am khankhaw pea atänga mi uk khai.
7 That he might point out, in the oncoming ages, the surpassing riches of his favour in graciousness upon us, in Christ Jesus; (aiōn g165)
Ahin a pawh cun law khai akcün tä üng mdan lü aktäa dämduhkia a bäkhäknak cun Khritaw Jesuh üng a kphyanak jah mdanki. (aiōn g165)
8 For, by his favour, have ye been saved, through means of faith, and this [hath come to pass] —not from you, of God, the free-gift!
Pamhnama bäkhäknak üng jumnak üngkhyüh küikyannak nami yahki. Ahin cun namimäta mtunkthaeinak am kya, lüpi Pamhnam naw ajüa aning jah yet ni, acuna kyase u pi käh camcah kawm.
9 Not from works, lest anyone should boast.
10 His, in fact we are—his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus upon a footing of good works, which God prepared beforehand, that, therein, we might walk.
Mimi cun Pamhnama sepbeia mi kya lü Pamhnam naw Khritaw Jesuh üng yümmat lü akdaw mi pawh khaia a jah mhnünmceng päng ni, mi bilawh vai kunga a jah pitpyang pet päng ni.
11 Wherefore, keep in remembrance—that, at one time, ye, the nations in flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by the so-called Circumcision in flesh, made by hand,
Nami ngtüi law üng khyangmjükcee, Judahe naw “vun am mawiki” aning jah tinak, amimäte naw ta vun mawikia ngsuikiea (Ahin cun khyang naw pumsa üng bilawhnak) ajana ihawkba nami ve khawiki ti cun süm ua.
12 That ye were, in that season, separate from Christ, alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and godless in the world;
Acuna kcün üng Khritaw üngkhyüh nami thuki. Nangmi cun khyangmjükcea kya lü Pamhnama a jah xü khyanga pi am kya uki. Pamhnam naw Isarele üng khyütam a jah pet ngthupet üng pi am sängei lü Pamhnam jah äpeinak käh ta lü khawmdeka nami xüng khawiki.
13 But, just now, in Christ Jesus, ye, who at one time were afar off, were made nigh in the blood of the Christ;
Tuh ta, ajana thuk khawi uki lüpi Khritawa thisen naw ning jah law püi lü Khritaw Jesuh üng nami yümmat law beki.
14 He, in fact, is our peace—who made both one, and, the enclosing middle-wall, took down,
Khritaw amät naw dim’yenak law püi lü Judahe ja khyangmjükcee cun khyangmjü mata a jah pyan. Yea jah thawnsaki ja jah mkhyakia kpang cun amäta pumsa üng a kcimpyak ni.
15 The enmity, in his flesh—the law of commandments in decrees—bringing to nought, —that, the two, he might create in himself, into one man of new mould, making peace.
Ani naw Judahea Thum, ngthupet ja ningsawe jah kpyakki, isetiakyaküng, khyangmjü nghngih cun khyang kthai mata kya lü a nih üng a jah yümmatsak. Ahikba va dimdeihnak a bi law.
16 And might fully reconcile them both, in one body, through means of the cross, —slaying the enmity thereby; —
Ani kutlamtunga a thiha phäh üng am ami ngkhawtnak mkhyüh lü kutlamtunga phäh üng khyangmjü nghngih cun pumsa mat üng jah ngkhawsak lü Pamhnama vei a jah law püi be.
17 And, coming, he announced the glad-message—of peace, unto you, the far off, and peace, unto them that were nigh;
Acuna kyase Khritaw cun law lü dimdeihnaka Thangkdaw cun ami vana vei — Pamhnam am thuki khyangmjükce ja Pamhnam am cähki Judahe vei sangki.
18 Because, through him, we have our introduction—we both—in one Spirit, unto the Father.
Khritaw üngkhyüh khyangmjükce jah Judah mi van cun Ngmüimkhya mat am Pa Pamhnama maa mi law khawhki.
19 Hence, then—no longer, are ye strangers and sojourners, but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints, and members of the household of God, —
Acuna kyase, nangmi khyangmjükcee cun pe kce khyanga ja khina am kya ti u ki, nangmi cun Pamhnama khyange am atänga khankhaw khyanga thawn u lü Pamhnama canaa nami kyaki.
20 Having been built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, there being, for chief corner stone, Jesus Christ himself, —
Khritaw Jesuh amät cun tüneinak lunga kya lü nangmi cun tüneinaka khana ngsä he ja sahmae naw aning jah sawngsak ua kyaki.
21 In whom, an entire building, in process of being fitly joined together, is growing into a holy shrine in [the] Lord;
Ani naw im avan cun kcüng lü Pamhnam üng pet vaia dawki temple ngcima dämduhsak lü Bawipa üng a ap ni.
22 In whom, ye also, are being builded together, into a habitation of God in Spirit.
Ani üng yümmat lü Pamhnam cun a Ngmüimkhya üng a ve vaia nangmi cun khyang kcee am atänga ning jah sawngsaka nami kyaki.
