< Ecclesiastes 9 >
1 For, unto all this, I applied my heart, and, my heart, considered all this, that, the righteous and the wise and their servants, were in the hand of God, —neither love nor hatred, could any man know, every one, was before Him.
Boye, nakanisaki mingi na makambo oyo nyonso mpe namonaki ete, ezala moto ya sembo, moto ya bwanya elongo na makambo nyonso oyo basalaka, bazali na maboko ya Nzambe; kasi moko te ayebaka soki bolingo to koyina ezelaka ye.
2 Every one, was like every one else, one destiny, had the righteous and the lawless, the good and the pure and the impure, and he that sacrificed, and he that did not sacrifice, —as the good man, so, the sinner, he that took an oath, as he who, of an oath, stood in fear.
Bato nyonso basukaka kaka ndenge moko: ezala moto ya sembo to moto mabe, ezala moto malamu to moto oyo asalaka masumu, ezala moto ya peto to moto ya mbindo, ezala moto oyo abonzaka mbeka to moto oyo abonzaka mbeka te. Ndenge ezalaka mpo na moto ya motema malamu ndenge mpe ezalaka mpo na moto ya masumu; ndenge ezalaka mpo na moto oyo alapaka ndayi ndenge mpe ezalaka mpo na moto oyo abangaka kolapa ndayi.
3 This was a misfortune in all that was done under the sun, that, one destiny, had they all, —yea also, the heart of the sons of men, was full of wickedness, and, madness, was in their heart, while they lived, and, after that, [they went] unto the dead.
Tala likambo oyo ezali mabe kati na makambo nyonso oyo esalemaka na se ya moyi: bato nyonso basukaka kaka ndenge moko; lisusu, mitema ya bato etonda na mabe, mpe bozoba ezalaka kati na mitema na bango wana bazali nanu na bomoi; mpe, sima na yango, bakokufa kaka.
4 For, whosoever was united to all the living, for him, there was hope, —inasmuch as, a living dog, fared better than a dead lion.
Moto nyonso oyo azali kati na bato ya bomoi azalaka na elikya; mbwa ya bomoi ezali malamu koleka nkosi oyo ekufa.
5 For, the living, knew that they should die, —but, the dead, knew not, anything, neither had they any longer a reward, because forgotten was their memory.
Pamba te bato ya bomoi bayebaka ete bakokufa; kasi bato oyo bakufa bayebaka lisusu eloko moko te, bazalaka lisusu te na litomba ya kozwa, mpo ete babosana bango.
6 Both their love and their hatred and their envy, already had perished, —and, portion, had they none any longer, unto times age-abiding, in aught that was done under the sun.
Bolingo na bango, koyina na bango mpe baposa na bango esila kolimwa; bakozwa lisusu litomba ata moko te kati na makambo nyonso oyo esalemaka na se ya moyi.
7 Go thy way—eat, with gladness, thy food, and drink, with a happy heart, thy wine, —when already God is well pleased with thy works.
Kende, lia bilei na yo na esengo mpe mela masanga na yo ya vino na motema ya esengo; pamba te Nzambe asili kondima misala na yo.
8 Continually, let thy garments be white, —and, ointment upon thy head, let it not be lacking.
Tika ete bilamba na yo ezala tango nyonso peto, mpe nzoto na yo elumba tango nyonso solo ya malasi.
9 Enjoy life, with thy wife whom thou lovest, all the days of thy life of vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all thy days of vanity, —for, that, is thy portion in life, and in thy toil wherewith, thou, art toiling under the sun.
Sepela na bomoi na yo elongo na mwasi na yo, oyo olingaka na mikolo nyonso ya bomoi ya pamba oyo Nzambe apesi yo na se ya moyi; solo, na mikolo na yo nyonso ya pamba, pamba te yango nde ezali mbano ya bomoi na yo mpo na misala nyonso oyo omonelaka pasi na se ya moyi.
10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, with thy might, do, —for there is no work nor calculation nor knowledge nor wisdom, in hades, whither, thou, art going. (Sheol )
Mosala nyonso oyo loboko na yo ekokoka kosala, sala yango na makasi na yo nyonso; pamba te kati na mboka ya bakufi epai wapi okokende, ezala mosala, mabongisi, boyebi to bwanya ezalaka kuna te. (Sheol )
11 I again saw under the sun, that not, to the swift, was the race, nor, to the strong, the battle, nay! nor, to the wise, food, nor yet, to the intelligent, riches, nor, even to the well-informed, comeliness, —for, time and accident, happened to them all.
Namonaki lisusu likambo moko na se ya moyi: mimekano ezalaka kaka te mpo na moto oyo aleki mbangu, bitumba ezalaka kaka te mpo na bato ya makasi, bilei ezalaka kaka te mpo na bato ya bwanya, bomengo ezalaka kaka te mpo na bato oyo baleki na mayele, mpe bolamu ezalaka kaka te mpo na bato ya bososoli; pamba te pasi mpe bisengo ekomelaka mpe bango nyonso.
12 For, indeed, man could not know his own time, like fishes which were caught in a cruel net, and like little birds which were caught in a trap, —like them, were ensnared the sons of men, by a time of misfortune, when it fell upon them suddenly.
Moto moko te ayebi tango nini ngonga na ye ekokoka: ndenge mbisi ekangamaka na monyama to ndenge banyama ekangamaka na motambo, ndenge wana mpe bato bakangamaka na mitambo ya pasi oyo ekweyelaka bango na mbalakata.
13 Even this, had I seen of wisdom, under the sun, —and, of great import, was the same unto me: —
Namonaki lisusu na se ya moyi, ndakisa moko ya bwanya oyo ezalaki na tina mingi mpo na ngai:
14 A little city, and men therein few, —and there came against it a great king, and surrounded it, and built against it large siege-works;
ezalaki na engumba moko ya moke oyo ezalaki mpe na bato moke; bongo mokonzi moko ya nguya ayaki kobundisa yango, azingelaki yango mpe atongaki milako mpo na kokonza engumba yango.
15 but there was found therein, a man, poor [but] wise, and, he, delivered the city by his wisdom, —yet, no one, remembered that poor man.
Nzokande, kati na engumba yango, ezalaki na mobola moko oyo azalaki moto ya bwanya; abikisaki yango na bwanya na ye, kasi moto moko te akanisaki mobola yango.
16 Then said, I, Better is wisdom than strength, —although, the wisdom of the poor man, be despised, and, his words, not heard.
Boye namilobelaki: « Bwanya ezali malamu koleka makasi ya nzoto. » Kasi bwanya ya mobola etiolamaka, mpe bayokaka maloba na ye te.
17 The words of the wise, in quietness, are heard, —beyond the outcry of one who ruleth over dullards.
Bayokaka maloba ya kimia ya moto ya bwanya koleka makelele ya mokonzi ya bazoba.
18 Better is wisdom, than weapons of war, —but, one sinner, may destroy much good.
Bwanya ezali malamu koleka bibundeli ya basoda, kasi mbeba moko ekoki koboma bolamu na yango nyonso.
