< Ecclesiastes 6 >
1 Here was an evil, I had seen under the sun, —and it is, common, among men:
Waxaa jira wax xun oo aan qorraxda hoosteeda ku arkay, taasuna waa wax dadka ku culus,
2 A man to whom God giveth riches and gains and honour, so that nothing doth he lack for his soul—of all that he craveth, and yet God doth not give him power to eat thereof, but, a man unknown, eateth it, —this, was vanity, and, an incurable evil, it was.
waana nin Ilaah siiyey maal, iyo hanti, iyo sharaf, oo wax alla wixii naftiisu jeceshahayna aan waxba ka dhinnayn, oo haddana Ilaah isaga aan siin karti uu wax kaga cuno, laakiinse uu shisheeye iska cuno. Taasu waa wax aan waxba tarayn iyo dhibaato xun.
3 Though a man should beget a hundred children, and live, many years, so that many should be the days of his years but, his own soul, should not be satisfied with the good, and he should not even have, a burial, I said, Better than he, is an untimely birth!
Haddii nin boqol carruur ah dhalo, oo uu sannado badan noolaado si uu u cimri dheeraado, laakiinse ayan naftiisu wax wanaagsan ka dhergin, oo haddana aan la aasin, waxaan leeyahay, Kaas waxaa ka wanaagsan dhicis.
4 For, in vain, it came in, and, in darkness, it departeth, —and, with darkness, its name, is covered:
Waayo, dhicisku wax aan waxba tarayn ayuu u yimaadaa, gudcur buuna ku tagaa, oo magiciisana gudcur baa daboola.
5 even the sun, it never saw, nor aught did it know, —more quietness, hath this than the other.
Oo weliba qorraxda ma uu arag, mana garan, oo kaasu waa ka sii nasasho badan yahay kii kale.
6 Even though one hath lived a thousand years twice told, yet, good, hath he not seen, —is it not, unto one place, that, all, are going?
In kastoo uu noolaado kun sannadood oo laba jibbaar ah, laakiinse uusan wax wanaagsan ku raaxaysan, sow kulliba isku meel lama wada tago?
7 All the toil of man, is for his mouth, —though, even the desire, is not satisfied!
Nin hawshiisa oo dhan waa u afkiisaa, laakiinse kama hamuun beelo.
8 For what profit hath the wise man, over the dullard? What can, the poor man, know—so as to walk before the living?
Waayo, bal kii xigmad lahu maxaa faa'iido ah oo uu nacaska dheer yahay? Miskiinkii kuwa nool hortooda si loogu socdo yaqaanse, maxaa faa'iido ah oo uu leeyahay?
9 Better what the eyes behold, than the wandering of desire, —even this, was vanity, and a feeding on wind.
Damac iska wareega waxaa ka wanaagsan indhaha aragtiddooda, taasuna waa wax aan waxba tarayn iyo dabagalka dabaysha oo kale.
10 Whatsoever one may be, long ago, was he called by his name, and it is known that it is—Son of Earth, —he cannot, therefore, contend with one stronger than he.
Nin waluba wuxuu yahayba waa horaa loo magacaabay, oo waa la garanayaa inuu binu-aadmi yahay, oo lamana uu diriri karo kan isaga ka xoog badan.
11 Seeing there are things in abundance which make vanity abound, what profit hath man?
Waxaa jira waxyaalo badan oo sii kordhiya waxa aan waxba tarayn, bal maxaa faa'iido ah oo uu binu-aadmigu leeyahay?
12 For who knoweth what is good for a man throughout his life, for the number of the days of his life of vanity, seeing he will make them, like a shadow, —for who can tell a man, what shall be after him, under the sun?
Waayo, bal yaa garanaya waxa qof u wanaagsan intuu nool yahay oo ah maalmihii cimrigiisa aan waxba tarayn oo dhan ee uu sida hoos oo kale u dhaafiyo? Waayo, bal yaa nin u sheegi kara waxa qorraxda hoosteeda isaga dabadiis ahaan doona?
