< Ecclesiastes 3 >
1 For, every thing, there is a season, —and a time for every pursuit, under the heavens: —
Ta adda naituding a tiempo para iti amin a banag, ken panawen para iti tunggal panggep iti baba ti langit.
2 A time to be born, and a time to die, —A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted;
Adda tiempo iti pannakaiyanak ken adda tiempo iti pannakatay, adda tiempo iti panagmula ken tiempo iti panangparut kadagiti mula,
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal, —A time to break down, and a time to build up;
adda tiempo iti panangpapatay ken adda tiempo iti pannakapaimbag, adda tiempo iti panangdadael ken adda tiempo iti panangbangon,
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh, —A time to wail, and a time to dance for joy;
adda tiempo iti panagsangit ken adda tiempo iti panagkatawa, adda tiempo iti panagladingit ken adda tiempo iti panagsasala,
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to heap up stones, —A time to embrace, and a time to be far from loving embrace;
adda tiempo iti panangipurwak kadagiti batbato, ken adda tiempo iti panagurnong kadagiti batbato, adda tiempo iti panangarakup kadagiti dadduma a tattao ken adda tiempo iti panagliklik manipud iti pannakaarakup,
6 A time to seek, and a time to give up as lost, —A time to keep, and a time to cast away;
adda tiempo ti panagbiruk kadagiti banbanag ken adda tiempo ti panagsardeng ti panagbirbiruk, adda tiempo ti panagidulin kadagiti banbanag ken adda tiempo ti panagibelleng kadagiti banbanag,
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew, —A time to be silent, and a time to speak;
adda tiempo ti panagpigis kadagiti kawkawes ken adda tiempo ti panagisimpa kadagiti kawkawes, adda tiempo ti panagulimek ken adda tiempo ti panagsao,
8 A time to love and a time to hate, —A time of war, and a time of peace.
adda tiempo ti panagayat ken adda tiempo ti panaggura, adda tiempo para iti gubat ken adda tiempo para iti kappia.
9 What profit hath he that worketh, in that wherein, himself, hath toiled?
Ania ti magunggona ti trabahador kadagiti pagbanbanoganna?
10 I looked at the employment which God hath given to the sons of men, to work therein:
Nakitakon ti trabaho nga inted ti Dios kadagiti tattao a leppasenda.
11 Everything, hath he made beautiful in its own time, —also, intelligence, hath he put in their heart, without which men could not find out the work which God hath wrought, from the beginning even unto the end.
Inaramid ti Dios dagiti amin a banbanag a maitutop iti umno a tiempo. Inkabilna pay ti kinaagnanayon kadagiti puspusoda. Ngem saan a maawatan ti sangkatoan dagiti inaramid ti Dios, manipud kadagiti rugrugida agingga kadagiti panagleppasda.
12 I know that there is no blessedness in them, —save to be glad, and to do well with one’s life.
Ammok nga awan ti nasaysayaat para iti siasinoman ngem ti agrag-o ken agaramid iti nasayaat kas agbibiag isuna—
13 Though indeed, that any man should eat and drink, and see blessedness, in all his toil, it is, the gift of God.
ken mangan ken uminom koma ti tunggal maysa ken maawatanda koma no kasano a ragsakenda dagiti nasasayaat nga aggapu kadagiti amin a trabahoda. Sagut daytoy manipud iti Dios.
14 I know, that, whatsoever God doeth, the same, shall be age-abiding, unto it, there is nothing to add, and, from it, there is nothing to take away, —and, God, hath done it, that men should stand in awe before him.
Ammok nga agtalinaed nga agnanayon ti aniaman nga aramiden ti Dios. Awan ti mainayon wenno maikkat iti daytoy, gapu ta ti Dios ti nangaramid iti daytoy tapno umasideg dagiti tattao kenkuana nga addaan iti dayaw.
15 That which was, already, had been, and, that which shall be, already, shall have been, —but, God, seeketh that which hath been chased away.
Aniaman nga adda ket addan idi, aniaman nga umaddanto ket addan. Inaramid ti Dios nga agbirok dagiti tattao kadagiti nakalemmeng a banbanag.
16 Then, again, I saw under the sun, the place of justice, that there was lawlessness, and, the place of righteousness, that there was lawlessness.
Ket nakitak nga iti baba ti init, adda ti kinadangkes iti ayan koma ti hustisia, ken iti lugar ti kinalinteg ket masansan a masarakan ti kinadangkes.
17 Said, I, in my heart, Both the righteous and the lawless, will God judge, —for [there will be] a time for every pursuit, and concerning every work—there.
Kinunak iti pusok, “Ukomento ti Dios ti nalinteg ken nadangkes iti umno a tiempo para iti tunggal pasamak ken tunggal aramid.”
18 Said, I, in my heart, as concerning the sons of men, That God was minded to prove them, —and that they might see, that they were beasts, of themselves.
Kinunak iti pusok, “Subsuboken ti Dios dagiti tattao tapno ipakitana kadakuada a kasla da la dagiti ayup.”
19 For, as regardeth the destiny of the sons of men and the destiny of beasts, one fate, have they, as dieth the one, so, dieth the other, and, one spirit, have they all, —and, the pre-eminence of man over beast, is nothing, for, all, were vanity:
Ta agpada a gasat ti mapaspasamak kadagiti tattao a mapaspasamak kadagiti ayup. Kas kadagiti ayup, matay amin a tattao. Masapul nga umangesda amin ti agpada nga angin, tapno iti kasta a wagas awan ti pangatiwan dagiti tattao kadagiti ayup. Saan kadi a kasla laeng napardas nga anges dagiti amin a banag?
20 all, go unto one place, —all, came from the dust, and all, return to the dust.
Maymaysa a lugar ti pappapanan dagiti amin a banag. Naggapu amin iti tapok, ket agsubli amin iti tapok.
21 Who knoweth the spirit of the sons of men, whether it, ascendeth, above, —or the spirit of the beast, whether it, descendeth, below, to the earth?
Siasino ti makaammo no ti espiritu ti sangkataoan ket agpangato ken dagiti espiritu dagiti ayup ket agpababa iti uneg ti daga?
22 So I saw, that there was nothing better than that a man should be glad in his works, for, that, is his portion, —for who can bring him in, to look upon that which shall be after him?
Isu a naamirisko manen nga awan ti nasaysayaat para ti siasinoman ngem ti agragsak iti trabahona, ta dayta ti naituding nga aramidenna. Siasino ti makaisubli kenkuana tapno makitana no ania ti mapasamak kalpasan ti biagna?
