Deuteronomy 30
1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things shall come in upon thee—the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, —and thou shalt bring them back unto thy heart among all the nations whither Yahweh thy God hath driven thee;
E será que, sobrevindo-te todas estas coisas, a benção ou a maldição, que tenho posto diante de ti, e te recordares d'ellas entre todas as nações, para onde te lançar o Senhor teu Deus;
2 and thou shalt return unto Yahweh thy God and shalt hearken unto his voice, according to all that I am commanding thee to-day, —thou and thy sons, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
E te converteres ao Senhor teu Deus, e deres ouvidos á sua voz, conforme a tudo o que eu te ordeno hoje, tu e teus filhos, com todo o teu coração, e com toda a tua alma;
3 then will Yahweh thy God bring back thy captivity and have compassion upon thee, —and return and gather thee from among all the peoples whither Yahweh thy God hath scattered thee.
Então o Senhor teu Deus te fará voltar do teu captiveiro, e se apiedará de ti; e tornará a ajuntar-te d'entre todas as nações entre as quaes te espalhou o Senhor teu Deus.
4 Though thou be driven out unto the utmost part of the heavens, from thence, will Yahweh thy God gather thee, and, from thence will he fetch thee;
Ainda que os teus desterrados estejam para a extremidade do céu, desde ali te ajuntará o Senhor teu Deus, e te tomará d'ali;
5 and Yahweh thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it, —and he will do thee good and multiply thee beyond thy fathers.
E o Senhor teu Deus te trará á terra que teus paes possuiram, e a possuirás; e te fará bem, e te multiplicará mais do que a teus paes
6 And Yahweh thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, —to love Yahweh thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
E o Senhor teu Deus circumcidará o teu coração, e o coração de tua semente; para amares ao Senhor teu Deus com todo o coração, e com toda a tua alma, para que vivas.
7 And Yahweh thy God will put all these oaths upon thine enemies and upon them who hated thee who persecuted thee.
E o Senhor teu Deus porá todas estas maldições sobre os teus inimigos, e sobre os teus aborrecedores, que te perseguiram.
8 But, thou, wilt return, and hearken unto the voice of Yahweh, —and wilt do all his commandments, which I am commanding thee, to-day,
Converter-te-has pois, e darás ouvidos á voz do Senhor; farás todos os seus mandamentos que hoje te ordeno.
9 And Yahweh thy God will make thee pre-eminent, in every work of thy hand—in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle and in the fruit of thy ground, for good, —for Yahweh will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
E o Senhor teu Deus te fará abundar em toda a obra das tuas mãos, no fructo do teu ventre, e no fructo dos teus animaes, e no fructo da tua terra para bem; porquanto o Senhor tornará a alegrar-se em ti para bem, como se alegrou em teus paes;
10 if thou hearken unto the voice of Yahweh thy God, to keep his commandments, and his statutes, which are written in this scroll of the law, —if thou return unto Yahweh thy God, with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
Quando deres ouvidos á voz do Senhor teu Deus, guardando os seus mandamentos e os seus estatutos, escriptos n'este livro da lei, quando te converteres ao Senhor teu Deus com todo o teu coração, e com toda a tua alma.
11 For as touching this commandment, which I am commanding thee to-day, it is not, too wonderful, for thee, neither is it far off.
Porque este mandamento, que hoje te ordeno, te não é encoberto, e tão pouco está longe de ti.
12 It is, not in the heavens, —that thou shouldest say—Who shall ascend for us into the heavens that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Não está nos céus, para dizeres: Quem subirá por nós aos céus, que nol-o traga, e nol-o faça ouvir, para que o façamos?
13 Neither is it, over the sea, —that thou shouldest say, Who will pass over for us to the other side of the sea, that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Nem tão pouco está d'além do mar, para dizeres: Quem passará por nós d'além do mar, para que nol-o traga, e nol-o faça ouvir, para que o façamos?
14 But, near unto thee, is the word, exceedingly, —in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Porque esta palavra está mui perto de ti, na tua bocca, e no teu coração, para a fazeres.
15 See! I have set before thee, to-day, life and prosperity, —and death and calamity;
Vês aqui, hoje te tenho proposto a vida e o bem, e a morte e o mal;
16 for thou must keep the commandments of Yahweh thy God which I am commanding thee to-day, to love Yahweh thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes, and his regulations, —so shalt thou live and multiply, and Yahweh thy God will bless thee, in the land which thou art entering to possess.
Porquanto te ordeno hoje que ames ao Senhor teu Deus, que andes nos seus caminhos, e que guardes os seus mandamentos, e os seus estatutos, e os seus juizos, para que vivas, e te multipliques, e o Senhor teu Deus te abençoe na terra a qual entras a possuir.
17 But, if thy heart shall turn away, and thou wilt, not hearken, —but shalt be drawn away, and shalt bow thyself down to other gods and serve them,
Porém se o teu coração se desviar, e não quizeres dar ouvidos, e fores seduzido para te inclinar a outros deuses, e os servires,
18 I declare unto you, to-day, that ye shall perish, —ye shall not prolong your days, upon the soil which thou art passing over the Jordan to enter and possess.
Então eu vos denuncio hoje que, certamente, perecereis: não prolongareis os dias na terra a que vaes, passando o Jordão, para que, entrando n'ella, a possuas;
19 I call to witness against you to-day, the heavens and the earth, that life and death, have I set before thee, the blessing and the curse, —therefore shouldest thou choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed;
Os céus e a terra tomo hoje por testemunhas contra vós, que te tenho proposto a vida e a morte, a benção e a maldição: escolhe pois a vida, para que vivas, tu e a tua semente,
20 to love Yahweh thy God, to hearken unto his voice, and to cleave unto him, —for, he, is thy life, and thy length of days, that thou mayest abide upon the soil which Yahweh sware to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give unto them.
Amando ao Senhor teu Deus, dando ouvidos á sua voz, e te achegando a elle: pois elle é a tua vida, e a longura dos teus dias; para que fiques na terra que o Senhor jurou a teus paes, a Abrahão, a Isaac, e a Jacob, que lhes havia de dar.
