Deuteronomy 30
1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things shall come in upon thee—the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, —and thou shalt bring them back unto thy heart among all the nations whither Yahweh thy God hath driven thee;
A gdy spadnie na ciebie to wszystko, błogosławieństwo i przekleństwo, które przedłożyłem przed tobą, a wspomnisz je sobie w swym sercu pośród wszystkich narodów, do których PAN, twój Bóg, cię wypędzi;
2 and thou shalt return unto Yahweh thy God and shalt hearken unto his voice, according to all that I am commanding thee to-day, —thou and thy sons, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
I zawrócisz do PANA, swego Boga, i będziesz słuchał jego głosu we wszystkim, co ci dziś nakazuję, ty i twoi synowie, z całego swego serca i całą swoją duszą;
3 then will Yahweh thy God bring back thy captivity and have compassion upon thee, —and return and gather thee from among all the peoples whither Yahweh thy God hath scattered thee.
Wtedy PAN, twój Bóg, wyprowadzi cię z twego więzienia i zlituje się nad tobą, i przywróci, i zgromadzi cię ze wszystkich narodów, wśród których PAN, twój Bóg, cię rozproszył.
4 Though thou be driven out unto the utmost part of the heavens, from thence, will Yahweh thy God gather thee, and, from thence will he fetch thee;
Choćby twoi wygnani byli na krańcu nieba, stamtąd zgromadzi cię PAN, twój Bóg, i stamtąd cię zabierze;
5 and Yahweh thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it, —and he will do thee good and multiply thee beyond thy fathers.
I PAN, twój Bóg, przyprowadzi cię do ziemi, którą odziedziczyli twoi ojcowie, i posiądziesz ją, i będzie ci wyświadczać dobro oraz rozmnoży cię bardziej niż twoich przodków.
6 And Yahweh thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, —to love Yahweh thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
PAN, twój Bóg, obrzeza twoje serce i serce twego potomstwa, abyś miłował PANA, swego Boga, z całego swego serca i całą swoją duszą, abyś żył.
7 And Yahweh thy God will put all these oaths upon thine enemies and upon them who hated thee who persecuted thee.
I włoży PAN, twój Bóg, wszystkie te przekleństwa na twoich wrogów i na tych, którzy cię nienawidzą i którzy cię prześladowali.
8 But, thou, wilt return, and hearken unto the voice of Yahweh, —and wilt do all his commandments, which I am commanding thee, to-day,
A ty zawrócisz i będziesz słuchał głosu PANA i wypełniał wszystkie jego przykazania, które ci dziś nakazuję.
9 And Yahweh thy God will make thee pre-eminent, in every work of thy hand—in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle and in the fruit of thy ground, for good, —for Yahweh will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
I PAN, twój Bóg, poszczęści tobie w każdej sprawie twych rąk, w owocu twego łona, w owocu twego bydła i w owocu twej ziemi, ku dobremu. PAN bowiem znowu będzie się cieszył tobą, czyniąc ci dobro, jak się cieszył twoimi ojcami;
10 if thou hearken unto the voice of Yahweh thy God, to keep his commandments, and his statutes, which are written in this scroll of the law, —if thou return unto Yahweh thy God, with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
Jeśli będziesz słuchał głosu PANA, swego Boga, by przestrzegać jego przykazań i ustaw zapisanych w księdze tego Prawa, i jeśli zawrócisz do PANA, swego Boga, z całego swego serca i całą swoją duszą.
11 For as touching this commandment, which I am commanding thee to-day, it is not, too wonderful, for thee, neither is it far off.
To przykazanie bowiem, które ci dziś nakazuję, nie jest zakryte przed tobą ani nie [jest] zbyt dalekie;
12 It is, not in the heavens, —that thou shouldest say—Who shall ascend for us into the heavens that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Nie jest w niebie, byś miał mówić: Któż dla nas wstąpi do nieba i przyniesie je nam, i opowie je nam, abyśmy je wypełniali?
13 Neither is it, over the sea, —that thou shouldest say, Who will pass over for us to the other side of the sea, that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Nie jest też ono za morzem, byś miał mówić: Któż dla nas popłynie za morze i przyniesie je nam, i opowie je nam, abyśmy je wypełniali.
14 But, near unto thee, is the word, exceedingly, —in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Lecz to słowo [jest] bardzo blisko ciebie, w twoich ustach i w twoim sercu, abyś je wypełniał.
15 See! I have set before thee, to-day, life and prosperity, —and death and calamity;
Oto dziś położyłem przed tobą życie i dobro oraz śmierć i zło;
16 for thou must keep the commandments of Yahweh thy God which I am commanding thee to-day, to love Yahweh thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes, and his regulations, —so shalt thou live and multiply, and Yahweh thy God will bless thee, in the land which thou art entering to possess.
Gdyż dziś ci nakazuję, abyś miłował PANA, swego Boga, i chodził jego drogami, i przestrzegał jego przykazań, ustaw i praw, abyś żył i rozmnożył się, i PAN, twój Bóg, będzie ci błogosławił w ziemi, do której idziesz, aby ją posiąść.
17 But, if thy heart shall turn away, and thou wilt, not hearken, —but shalt be drawn away, and shalt bow thyself down to other gods and serve them,
Jeśli zaś twoje serce odwróci się i nie posłuchasz, ale dasz się odwieść, będziesz oddawał pokłon innym bogom i im służył;
18 I declare unto you, to-day, that ye shall perish, —ye shall not prolong your days, upon the soil which thou art passing over the Jordan to enter and possess.
Oznajmiam wam dziś, że na pewno zginiecie i nie przedłużycie swych dni na ziemi, do której się przeprawiasz przez Jordan, aby tam wejść i posiąść ją.
19 I call to witness against you to-day, the heavens and the earth, that life and death, have I set before thee, the blessing and the curse, —therefore shouldest thou choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed;
Biorę dziś na świadków przeciwko wam niebo i ziemię, że położyłem przed tobą życie i śmierć, błogosławieństwo i przekleństwo. Wybierz więc życie, abyś żył, ty i twoje potomstwo;
20 to love Yahweh thy God, to hearken unto his voice, and to cleave unto him, —for, he, is thy life, and thy length of days, that thou mayest abide upon the soil which Yahweh sware to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give unto them.
I miłował PANA, swego Boga, słuchał jego głosu i do niego lgnął. On bowiem [jest] twoim życiem i przedłużeniem twoich dni, abyś mieszkał w ziemi, którą PAN poprzysiągł dać twoim ojcom: Abrahamowi, Izaakowi i Jakubowi.
