Deuteronomy 23
1 Neither he that hath been mutilated by crushing, nor he that hath had his privy member cut off, shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
У сабор Господњи да не улази ни утучен ни ушкопљен.
2 A bastard shall not enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none of his enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
У сабор Господњи да не улази копиле, ни десето колено његово да не улази у сабор Господњи.
3 Neither an Ammonite nor a Moabite shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none that belong to them enter into the convocation of Yahweh, unto times age-abiding:
Ни Амонац ни Моавац да не улази у сабор Господњи, ни десето колено њихово, да не улази у сабор Господњи довека.
4 because they met you not with bread and water, in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, —but hired against thee Balaam son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
Зато што не изиђоше пред вас с хлебом и водом на путу кад сте ишли из Мисира, и што најмише за новце на вас Валама, сина Веоровог из Феторе у Месопотамији да те прокуне,
5 Nevertheless, Yahweh thy God consented not to hearken unto Balaam, but Yahweh thy God turned, for thee, the curse into a blessing, —because Yahweh thy God loved thee.
Премда не хте Господ Бог твој слушати Валама, него ти Господ Бог твој обрати проклетство у благослов, јер те милова Господ Бог твој.
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their welfare, —all thy days, unto times age-abiding.
Не тражи мир њихов ни добро њихово никада за свог века.
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite, for thy brother, he is, —thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, for a sojourner, becamest thou in his land;
Немој се гадити на Идумејца, јер ти је брат; немој се гадити на Мисирца, јер си био дошљак у земљи његовој.
8 the sons who are born to them, of the third generation, may enter unto them in the convocation of Yahweh.
Синови који се роде од њих у трећем кољену нека долазе у сабор Господњи.
9 When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then shalt thou beware of everything foul.
Кад отидеш на војску на непријатеље своје, тада се чувај од сваке зле ствари.
10 When there is in thy midst a man who is not clean through a mischance of the night, then shall he go forth unto the outside of the camp, he shall not come into the midst of the camp;
Ако се ко међу вама оскврни од чега што му се ноћу догоди, нека изиђе из логора и не улази у логор.
11 but it shall be, when the evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water, —and at the going in of the sun, he shall come into the midst of the camp.
А пред вече нека се опере водом, па кад сунце зађе нека уђе у логор.
12 And a place aside, shalt thou have, without the camp, —whither thou canst go forth abroad;
И имај место иза логора где ћеш излазити напоље.
13 and a blade, shalt thou have upon thy staff, —so shall it be, that when thou wouldest sit down outside, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which hath passed from thee:
И имај лопатицу у оправи својој, па кад изиђеш напоље, закопај њом, а кад пођеш натраг, загрни нечист своју.
14 for, Yahweh thy God, walketh to and fro in the midst of thy camp, to rescue thee, and to deliver up thine enemies before thee, so shall thy camps be holy, —and he shall see in thee no shameful thing, that he should turn away from following thee.
Јер Господ Бог твој иде усред логора твог да те избави и да ти преда непријатеље твоје; зато нека је логор твој свет, да не види у тебе никакве нечистоте, да се не би одвратио од тебе.
15 Thou shalt not deliver up a slave unto his lord, —one who maketh his escape unto thee, from his lord:
Немој издати слугу господару његовом, који утече к теби од господара свог;
16 with thee, shall he remain in thy midst, in the place which he shall choose in any of thy gates where it seemeth good to him, —thou shalt not oppress him.
Него нека остане код тебе, усред тебе у месту које изабере у коме граду твом, где му буде драго; немој га цвелити.
17 There shall be no female devotee of the daughters of Israel, —neither shall there be, a male devotee, of the sons of Israel.
Да не буде курве између кћери Израиљевих, ни аџувана између синова Израиљевих.
18 Thou shalt not bring the wages of an unchaste woman, or the hire of a dog, into the house of Yahweh thy God for any vow, —for, an abomination unto Yahweh thy God, are they both.
Не носи у дом Господа Бога свог ни по каквом завету плате курвине ни цене од пса, јер је обоје гад пред Господом Богом твојим.
19 Thou shalt not lend on interest to thy brother, interest of silver, interest of food, —interest of any thing that can be lent on interest:
Не дај на добит брату свом ни новаца ни хране нити ишта што се даје на добит.
20 to a foreigner, thou mayest lend on interest, but to thy brother, shalt thou not lend on interest, —that Yahweh thy God may bless thee, in everything where-unto thou puttest thy hand, upon the land which thou art entering to possess.
Странцу подај на добит, али брату свом немој давати на добит, да би те благословио Господ Бог твој у свему што се прихватиш руком својом у земљи у коју идеш да је наследиш.
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto Yahweh thy God, thou shalt not delay to make it good, —for Yahweh thy God would, require, it of thee, and it should be in thee sin.
Кад учиниш завет Господу Богу свом, не оклевај испунити га, јер ће га тражити од тебе Господ Бог твој, и биће на теби грех.
22 But, if thou refrain from vowing, it shall not be in thee sin.
Ако ли се не заветујеш, неће бити на теби греха.
23 That which goeth forth out of thy lips, thou must observe and do, —according as thou didst vow unto Yahweh thy God the free-will, offering of which thou didst speak with thy mouth.
Шта ти изиђе из уста, оно држи и учини, као што заветујеш Господу Богу свом драговољно, што искажеш устима својим.
24 When thou enterest into the vineyard of thy neighbour, then mayest thou eat grapes at thy pleasure to thy fill, -but into thy vessel, shalt thou put none.
Кад уђеш у виноград ближњег свог, можеш јести грожђа по вољи док се не наситиш; али га не мећи у суд свој.
25 When thou enterest the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck off ears with thy hand, —but a sickle, shalt thou not wield against the standing corn of thy neighbour.
Кад уђеш у усев ближњег свог можеш тргати класје руком својом; али да не зажњеш српом у усев ближњег свог.
