< Deuteronomy 23 >

1 Neither he that hath been mutilated by crushing, nor he that hath had his privy member cut off, shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
Tsy hiheo am-pivori’ Iehovà ty aman-tabiry dinemoke ndra filahiañe nianto.
2 A bastard shall not enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none of his enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
Tsy hitraok’ ami’ty fivori’ Iehovà ty anak’ amontoñe; tsy hizilik’ am-pivori’ Iehovà ao re pak’an-tarira’e faha folo.
3 Neither an Ammonite nor a Moabite shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none that belong to them enter into the convocation of Yahweh, unto times age-abiding:
Tsy himoak’ am-pivori’ Iehovà ao t’i nte-Amone ndra t’i nte-Moabe; tsy hizilik’ am-pivori’ Iehovà ao re pak’ an-tarira’e faha folo,
4 because they met you not with bread and water, in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, —but hired against thee Balaam son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
amy t’ie tsy nanalaka anahareo ninday mahakama naho rano amy lalañe niakara’ areo i Mitsraimey; mbore tinambe’ iereo ty ama’o i Balame ana’ i Beore nte-Petore boak’ arame-Naharaime hañozoñe azo.
5 Nevertheless, Yahweh thy God consented not to hearken unto Balaam, but Yahweh thy God turned, for thee, the curse into a blessing, —because Yahweh thy God loved thee.
Fe tsy nihaoñe’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o t’i Balame; le nafote’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o ho tata ama’o o ozoñeo ami’ty fikokoa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azo.
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their welfare, —all thy days, unto times age-abiding.
Tsy hipaia’o fañanintsiñe, ndra firaoraoañe, amo fonga andro’oo.
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite, for thy brother, he is, —thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, for a sojourner, becamest thou in his land;
Tsy ho heje’o ty nte-Edome fa rahalahi’o; le tsy ho heje’o ty nte-Mitsraime fa nirenetàne an-tane’e ao.
8 the sons who are born to them, of the third generation, may enter unto them in the convocation of Yahweh.
Mete mitraok’ am-pivori’ Iehovà ao o anake nasama’ iereoo ami’ty tarira’e faha telo.
9 When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then shalt thou beware of everything foul.
Ie mionjoñe mb’eo am-pirimboñan-dahin-defoñe hiatreatre an-drafelahi’o, le ifoneño ze atao haratiañe.
10 When there is in thy midst a man who is not clean through a mischance of the night, then shall he go forth unto the outside of the camp, he shall not come into the midst of the camp;
Aa naho ama’ areo ao t’indaty tsy malio ty amy fiorihan-kaleñey, le hiavotse i tobey re, vaho tsy himoak’ amy tobey ao;
11 but it shall be, when the evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water, —and at the going in of the sun, he shall come into the midst of the camp.
ie miroñe ty andro le hiandro re vaho hizilik’ an-tobe ao te motak’andro.
12 And a place aside, shalt thou have, without the camp, —whither thou canst go forth abroad;
Le tsy mete tsy amam-piveñañe alafe’ i tobey irehe hiamontoña’o;
13 and a blade, shalt thou have upon thy staff, —so shall it be, that when thou wouldest sit down outside, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which hath passed from thee:
naho an-karo’o ao ty pitre, aa le ie hitsotake ro hitrabake, vaho hitolike handembefa’o o niamontoñe’oo.
14 for, Yahweh thy God, walketh to and fro in the midst of thy camp, to rescue thee, and to deliver up thine enemies before thee, so shall thy camps be holy, —and he shall see in thee no shameful thing, that he should turn away from following thee.
Amy te midraidraitse añivo’ i tobe’oy t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, handrombak’ azo, hañitoa’e aolo’o eo o rafelahi’oo; aa le hiavake ty tobe’o, tsy hahavazohoa’e raha maleotse ama’o ao hiambohoa’e.
15 Thou shalt not deliver up a slave unto his lord, —one who maketh his escape unto thee, from his lord:
Tsy hasese’o ami’ty tompo’e ty ondevo niborofotse amy tompo’ey naho nimb’ ama’o mb’eo.
16 with thee, shall he remain in thy midst, in the place which he shall choose in any of thy gates where it seemeth good to him, —thou shalt not oppress him.
Himoneñe ama’o ao re, añivo’o ao amy ze toetse joboñe’e, naho amy ze rova mahafale ty tro’e, vaho ko ampisoañeñe.
17 There shall be no female devotee of the daughters of Israel, —neither shall there be, a male devotee, of the sons of Israel.
Tsy ho amo anak’ ampela’ Israeleo ty tsimirirañe, ndra ty ana-dahi’ Israele mpiharo aman-dahy.
18 Thou shalt not bring the wages of an unchaste woman, or the hire of a dog, into the house of Yahweh thy God for any vow, —for, an abomination unto Yahweh thy God, are they both.
Tsy ho banabanae’o añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o ao ty tamben-kakarapiloañe ndra ty tamben’ amboa hañavaha’o fànta, fa songa tiva am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o i roe rey.
19 Thou shalt not lend on interest to thy brother, interest of silver, interest of food, —interest of any thing that can be lent on interest:
Ko ampisongoeñe hitake ana’e aman-dongo’o, ndra fitomboan-drala, ndra fitomboam-baty ndra fitomboañ’ inoñ’ inoñe mete ampisongoeñe rekets’ ana’e.
20 to a foreigner, thou mayest lend on interest, but to thy brother, shalt thou not lend on interest, —that Yahweh thy God may bless thee, in everything where-unto thou puttest thy hand, upon the land which thou art entering to possess.
Azo’o angalañ’ ana’e ty renetane nampisongoe’o, f’ie longo, tsy hangala’o ana’e ze ampisongoe’o soa te hitahy azo t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’o am-pitoloña’o iaby an-tane hiziliha’o ho tavane’o ao.
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto Yahweh thy God, thou shalt not delay to make it good, —for Yahweh thy God would, require, it of thee, and it should be in thee sin.
Ie mifanta am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, ko aìke ty hañenefa’o aze amy te tsy mete tsy hipaia’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, vaho ho hakeo ama’o.
22 But, if thou refrain from vowing, it shall not be in thee sin.
F’ie tsy hanan-tahiñe te mifoneñe tsy hifanta.
23 That which goeth forth out of thy lips, thou must observe and do, —according as thou didst vow unto Yahweh thy God the free-will, offering of which thou didst speak with thy mouth.
Ano am-pahimbañañe ze miakatse am-pivimbi’o; manahake te fanta nisatrie’o am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, i nampitamam-palie’oy.
24 When thou enterest into the vineyard of thy neighbour, then mayest thou eat grapes at thy pleasure to thy fill, -but into thy vessel, shalt thou put none.
Naho iziliha’o ty tanem-balobo’ ondatio le azo’o kamaeñe o valobo’eo ampara’ te ànjañe, ze satrie’o, f’ie tsy ampijoña’o an-karo’o ao.
25 When thou enterest the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck off ears with thy hand, —but a sickle, shalt thou not wield against the standing corn of thy neighbour.
Ie miranga tonda’ ondaty miriñariña mahakama, le azo’o tifoeñe an-taña’o ty loha’e fe tsy añoharam-pitatahañe i mahakaman-drañe’o miriñariñay.
