Deuteronomy 23
1 Neither he that hath been mutilated by crushing, nor he that hath had his privy member cut off, shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
Tsy mahazo miditra amin’ ny fiangonan’ i Jehovah izay torotoro vihina, na izay voatapaka ny filahiany.
2 A bastard shall not enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none of his enter into the convocation of Yahweh.
Ny zazasary tsy mahazo miditra amin’ ny fiangonan’ i Jehovah: na dia hatramin’ ny taranany fahafolo mandimby aza dia tsy hahazo miditra amin’ ny fiangonan’ i Jehovah.
3 Neither an Ammonite nor a Moabite shall enter into the convocation of Yahweh, —even to the tenth generation, shall none that belong to them enter into the convocation of Yahweh, unto times age-abiding:
Ny Amonita sy ny Moabita tsy mahazo miditra amin’ ny fiangonan’ i Jehovah: na dia hatramin’ ny taranany fahafolo mandimby aza dia tsy hahazo miditra amin’ ny fiangonan’ i Jehovah hatramin’ ny mandrakizay ireny,
4 because they met you not with bread and water, in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, —but hired against thee Balaam son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
satria tsy nitsena hanina sy rano anareo teny an-dalana izy, raha nivoaka avy tany Egypta ianareo, ary satria nanamby an’ i Balama, zanak’ i Beora, avy any Petora any Mesopotamia, hanozona anao izy.
5 Nevertheless, Yahweh thy God consented not to hearken unto Balaam, but Yahweh thy God turned, for thee, the curse into a blessing, —because Yahweh thy God loved thee.
Kanefa Jehovah Andriamanitrao tsy nety nihaino an’ i Balama, fa nampody ny fanozonana ho fitahiana anao Izy noho ny fitiavany anao.
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their welfare, —all thy days, unto times age-abiding.
Aza mitady izay hiadanany na izay hahasoa azy amin’ ny andronao rehetra mandrakizay.
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite, for thy brother, he is, —thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, for a sojourner, becamest thou in his land;
Aza atao ho fahavetavetana ny Edomita, fa rahalahinao izy, na ny Egyptiana, fa efa mba vahiny tany amin’ ny taniny ianao.
8 the sons who are born to them, of the third generation, may enter unto them in the convocation of Yahweh.
Ny zafiafin’ ireo dia hahazo miditra amin’ ny fiangonan’ i Jehovah.
9 When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then shalt thou beware of everything foul.
Raha mivoaka hiady amin’ ny fahavalonao ny tafikao, dia mifadia ny ratsy rehetra.
10 When there is in thy midst a man who is not clean through a mischance of the night, then shall he go forth unto the outside of the camp, he shall not come into the midst of the camp;
Raha misy olona eo aminao, izay tsy madio noho izay nanjo azy tamin’ ny alina, dia hivoaka eny ivelan’ ny toby izy, fa tsy hiditra ao anatiny.
11 but it shall be, when the evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water, —and at the going in of the sun, he shall come into the midst of the camp.
Fa rehefa hariva, dia aoka handro amin’ ny rano izy; ary nony tokony ho maty masoandro, dia mahazo miverina eo amin’ ny toby indray izy.
12 And a place aside, shalt thou have, without the camp, —whither thou canst go forth abroad;
Ary aoka hisy tany voafaritrao any ivelan’ ny toby ho fivoahanao;
13 and a blade, shalt thou have upon thy staff, —so shall it be, that when thou wouldest sit down outside, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which hath passed from thee:
ary mitondrà fantaka miaraka amin’ ny fiadianao, ka raha hipetraka eny ivelany ianao, dia mihadia lavaka amin’ ny fantaka, ka totofy ny fivalananao.
14 for, Yahweh thy God, walketh to and fro in the midst of thy camp, to rescue thee, and to deliver up thine enemies before thee, so shall thy camps be holy, —and he shall see in thee no shameful thing, that he should turn away from following thee.
Fa Jehovah Andriamanitrao mandeha eo afovoan’ ny tobinao hamonjy anao sy hanolotra ny fahavalonao eo anoloanao; ka dia ho masìna ny tobinao, mba tsy hahita zavatra maloto eo aminao izy ka tsy hiala aminao.
15 Thou shalt not deliver up a slave unto his lord, —one who maketh his escape unto thee, from his lord:
Aza atolotrao amin’ ny tompony intsony ny andevo izay mandositra mamonjy tena ho eo aminao.
16 with thee, shall he remain in thy midst, in the place which he shall choose in any of thy gates where it seemeth good to him, —thou shalt not oppress him.
Eo aminao no hitoerany, dia eo amin’ ny tanàna izay tiany sy izay sitraky ny fony; fa aza mampahory azy.
17 There shall be no female devotee of the daughters of Israel, —neither shall there be, a male devotee, of the sons of Israel.
Aoka tsy hisy zanakavavy na zanakalahin’ ny Isiraely hanolo-tena hijangajanga ho fanompoan-tsampy.
18 Thou shalt not bring the wages of an unchaste woman, or the hire of a dog, into the house of Yahweh thy God for any vow, —for, an abomination unto Yahweh thy God, are they both.
Aza mitondra ny tangin’ ny vehivavy janga, na ny karaman’ alika, ho ao an-tranon’ i Jehovah Andriamanitra, hanefana voady; fa fahavetavetana eo imason’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ireo zavatra roa ireo.
19 Thou shalt not lend on interest to thy brother, interest of silver, interest of food, —interest of any thing that can be lent on interest:
Aza mampanàna zavatra amin’ ny rahalahinao, na vola, na hanina, na zavatra hafa mety hampananaina.
20 to a foreigner, thou mayest lend on interest, but to thy brother, shalt thou not lend on interest, —that Yahweh thy God may bless thee, in everything where-unto thou puttest thy hand, upon the land which thou art entering to possess.
Ny olona hafa firenena ihany no hampanananao zavatra; fa ny rahalahinao kosa dia tsy hampanananao; mba hotahin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao amin’ izay rehetra ataon’ ny tananao eo amin’ ny tany izay efa hidiranao holovana.
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto Yahweh thy God, thou shalt not delay to make it good, —for Yahweh thy God would, require, it of thee, and it should be in thee sin.
Raha mivoady amin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao, dia aza ela fanefa; fa hadinin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao aminao tokoa izany ka ho fahotana aminao.
22 But, if thou refrain from vowing, it shall not be in thee sin.
Fa raha tsy mivoady ianao, dia tsy fahotana aminao izany.
23 That which goeth forth out of thy lips, thou must observe and do, —according as thou didst vow unto Yahweh thy God the free-will, offering of which thou didst speak with thy mouth.
Izay aloaky ny vavanao dia tandremo hotanterahinao, araka ny sitraponao nivoadianao tamin’ i Jehovah ihany, dia izay nolazain’ ny vavanao.
24 When thou enterest into the vineyard of thy neighbour, then mayest thou eat grapes at thy pleasure to thy fill, -but into thy vessel, shalt thou put none.
Raha mankany amin’ ny tanim-boaloboky ny namanao ianao, dia mahazo manaram-po mihinam-boaloboka hahavoky anao; fa aza mitondra mody.
25 When thou enterest the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck off ears with thy hand, —but a sickle, shalt thou not wield against the standing corn of thy neighbour.
Raha mankany amin’ ny tanimbarin’ ny namanao ianao, dia mahazo mioty salohim-bary ny tananao; fa aza jinjanao antsy ny varin’ ny namanao.
