< Deuteronomy 19 >

1 When Yahweh thy God, shall cut off the nations whose land Yahweh thy God is giving thee, —and thou shalt dispossess them, and dwell in their cities and in their houses,
Inton ikkaten ni Yahweh a Diosyo dagiti nasion, dagiti daga nga it-ited ni Yahweh a Diosyo kadakayo, ken inton sublatanyo ida ket agnaedkayo kadagiti siudadda ken babbalayda,
2 three cities, shalt thou set apart for thee, —in the midst of thy land which Yahweh thy God is giving thee to possess.
masapul a mangpilikayo iti tallo a siudad a para kadakayo iti tengnga ti dagayo nga it-ited ni Yahweh a Diosyo kadakayo a tagikuaenyo.
3 Thou shalt prepare for thee a way, and shalt divide into three parts the boundary of thy land which Yahweh thy God shall cause thee to inherit, —and it shall be that every manslayer shall flee thither.
Masapul a mangaramidkayo iti dalan ken bingayenyo dagiti beddeng dagiti dagayo iti tallo a paset, ti daga nga ipatpatawid ni Yahweh a Diosyo kadakayo, tapno mabalin nga agkamang sadiay ti siasinoman a makapatay iti sabali a tao.
4 And, this, is the case of the manslayer, who shall flee thither and live, —Whoso shall smite his neighbour unwittingly, he, not having hated him aforetime;
Daytoy ti linteg para iti tao a makapatay iti sabali ken agkamang sadiay tapno agbiag: siasinoman ti makapatay iti kaarrubana a saanna nga ingagara, ken saanna a ginura isuna iti napalabas—
5 as when one entereth with his neighbour into a forest, to fell trees, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe, to cut down the tree, and the head flieth off from the handle, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die, he, shall flee into one of these cities, and live;
kas iti maysa a tao a mapan idiay bakir a kaduana ti kaarrubana tapno agpukan iti kayo, ket inlayat ti imana ti wasay tapno pukanenna ti kayo, ket nauksot ti ulo ti wasay manipud iti putanna ken natamaan ti kaarrubana isu a natay isuna—masapul ngarud nga agkamang dayta a tao iti maysa kadagitoy a siudad ket agbiag.
6 lest the blood redeemer pursue the manslayer because his heart is hot, and overtake him because the way is long, and he smite him so as to take away his life, —he not being worthy of death, seeing that he had not been hating him aforetime.
Ta no saan, amangan no kamaten ti mangibales iti dara ti tao a nakapatay, ket iti bara ti ungetna makamakamna isuna gapu ta atiddog daytoy a panagdaliasat. Ket kabilen ken papatayenna isuna, uray no saan a maikari a matay dayta a tao; ket saan pay a maikari isuna iti pannakapapatay agsipud ta saanna met a kinagura ti kaarrubana sakbay a napasamak daytoy.
7 For this cause, am I commanding thee saying, —Three cities, shalt thou set apart for thee.
Ngarud, bilinenkayo a mangpilikayo iti tallo a siudad para kadakayo.
8 But, if Yahweh thy God should enlarge thy bounds, as he sware unto thy fathers, —and should give thee all the land, which he spake of giving unto thy fathers;
No palawaen ni Yahweh a Diosyo dagiti beddengyo, kas insapatana kadagiti kapuonanyo nga aramidenna, ken itedna kadakayo dagiti amin a daga nga inkarina nga itedna kadagiti kapuonanyo;
9 because thou dost observe all this commandment to do it which I am commanding thee to-day, to love Yahweh thy God and to walk in his paths all the days, then shalt thou add unto thee yet three cities, unto these three;
no salimetmetanyo amin dagitoy a bilbilin tapno aramiden dagitoy, nga ibilbilinko kadakayo ita nga aldaw—dagiti bilbilin tapno ayaten ni Yahweh a Diosyo ken tapno kankanayon a magna kadagiti dalanna, masapul ngarud nga agnayonkayo iti tallo pay a siudad para kadakayo, malaksid kadagitoy a tallo.
10 that innocent blood may not be shed in the midst of thy land, which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee as an inheritance, —and so shed-blood be upon thee.
Aramidenyo daytoy tapno saan nga agsayasay ti dara nga awan basolna iti tengnga ti daga nga it-ited ni Yahweh a Diosyo kadakayo a kas pannakatawidyo, tapno awan pakabasolanyo iti panagpapatay.
11 But, when any man shall be hating his neighbour, and shall lie in wait for him and rise up against him, and smite him so as to take away his life that he dieth, —and shall then flee into one of these cities,
Ngem no kagura ti siasinoman ti kaarrubana, padpadaananna isuna, tumakder a maibusor kenkuana, ket sinugatanna isuna iti nakaro nga isu ti nakatayanna, ket no agkamang isuna iti maysa kadagitoy a siudad—
12 then shall the elders of his city send and fetch him from thence, —and deliver him into the hand of the blood redeemer that he die;
masapul ngarud a mangibaon dagiti panglakayen iti siudadna ken isublida isuna manipud sadiay, ket iyawatda isuna iti ima dagiti kabagian nga akinrebbeng, tapno matay isuna.
13 thine eye shall not look with pity upon him, —so shall thou consume the shedding of innocent blood out of Israel and it shall go well with thee.
Masapul a saan a maasi dagiti matayo kenkuana; ngem ketdi, masapul nga ikkatenyo ti basol iti panagpatay manipud Israel, tapno sumayaatkayonto.
14 Thou shalt not move back the boundary of thy neighbour, by which they set bounds at first, —in thine inheritance which thou shall receive in the land which Yahweh thy God is giving thee to possess.
Masapul a saanyo nga ikkaten ti mohon ti kaarrubayo nga inkabilda iti nabayagen a panawen, iti tawid a tawidenyonto, iti daga nga it-ited ni Yahweh a Diosyo kadakayo a tagikuaenyo.
15 One witness, shall not rise up, against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, with regard to any sin that he may commit, —at the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three witnesses, must a matter be establish.
Masapul a saan a tumakder ti maymaysa a saksi a maibusor iti maysa a tao gapu iti aniaman a kinadakes, wenno gapu iti aniaman a basol, iti aniaman a banag a nagbasolanna; manipud iti ngiwat iti dua a saksi, wenno manipud iti ngiwat iti tallo a saksi, masapul a mapatalgedan ti aniaman a banag.
16 When there shall rise up a wrongful witness against a man, —to answer against him perversely,
No bilang ta tumakder ti saan a nalinteg a saksi a maibusor iti siasinoman tapno mangpaneknek iti maibusor kenkuana iti panagaramidna iti dakes,
17 then shall the two men who are at variance stand before Yahweh, —before the priests and the judges who shall be in those days;
Ket ti dua a tattao a nagtaudan daytoy a riri, masapul a tumakder iti sangoanan ni Yahweh, iti sangoanan dagiti papadi ken dagiti uk-ukom nga agserserbi kadagitoy nga al-aldaw.
18 and the judges shall make diligent inquisition, —and lo! if the witness be, a false witness and, falsely, have answered against his brother,
Masapul a sukimaten a nasayaat dagiti ukom; kitaenyo, no ulbod ti saksi ket siuulbod a nangpaneknek maibusor iti kabsatna,
19 then shall ye do unto him as he had thought to de unto his brother, —so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of thy midst;
masapul ngarud nga aramidenyo kenkuana, a kas iti tinarigagayanna nga aramiden iti kabsatna; ket ikkatenyonto ti kinadakes manipud kadakayo.
20 and, they who remain shall hear and fear, —and not go on to do again according to this wicked thing, in thy midst:
Ket mangngeg ken agbutengto dagiti nabati, ket manipud iti dayta a tiempo, saandanton nga agaramid kadagiti kasta a kinadakes kadakayo.
21 neither shall thine eye pity, —life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
Masapul a saan a maasi dagiti matayo; biagto ti mangbayad iti biag, mata para iti mata, ngipen para iti ngipen, ima para iti ima, ken saka para iti saka.
