Daniel 12
1 And, at that time, will Michael, the great ruler who standeth for the sons of thy people, make a stand, and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, up to that time, —and, at that time, shall thy people, be delivered, every one found written in the book;
௧உன் மக்களின் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக நிற்கிற பெரிய அதிபதியாகிய மிகாவேல் அக்காலத்திலே எழும்புவான். எந்தவொரு தேசத்தார்களும் தோன்றினதுமுதல் அக்காலம்வரை உண்டாயிராத ஆபத்துக்காலம் வரும்; அக்காலத்திலே புத்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறவர்களாகக் காணப்படுகிற உன் மக்கள் அனைவரும் விடுவிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
2 and, many of the sleepers in the dusty ground, shall awake, —these, [shall be] to age-abiding life, but, those, to reproach, and age-abiding abhorrence;
௨பூமியின் தூளிலே இறந்தவர்களாகிய அநேகரில் சிலர் நித்தியஜீவனுக்கும், சிலர் நித்திய நிந்தைக்கும் இகழ்ச்சிக்கும் விழித்து எழுந்திருப்பார்கள்.
3 and, they who make wise, shall shine like the shining of the expanse, —and, they who bring the many to righteousness, like the stars to times age-abiding and beyond.
௩ஞானவான்கள் ஆகாயமண்டலத்தின் ஒளியைப்போலவும், அநேகரை நீதிக்குட்படுத்துகிறவர்கள் நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போலவும் என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள சதாகாலங்களிலும் பிரகாசிப்பார்கள்.
4 But, thou, Daniel, close up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end, —many will run to and fro, and knowledge, shall abound.
௪தானியேலாகிய நீயோவென்றால், முடிவுகாலம்வரை இந்த வார்த்தைகளைப் புதைபொருளாக மறைத்துவைத்து, இந்தப் புத்தகத்தை முத்திரைபோடு; அப்பொழுது அநேகர் இங்கும் அங்கும் ஓடி ஆராய்வார்கள், அறிவும் பெருகிப்போகும் என்றான்.
5 Then, I, Daniel, looked, and lo! two others, standing, —one on this side of the bank of the river, and one on that side of the bank of the river.
௫அப்பொழுது, தானியேலாகிய நான் நிற்கிற ஆற்றுக்கு இக்கரையில் ஒருவனும் ஆற்றுக்கு மறுகரையில் ஒருவனுமாக இரண்டுபேர் நிற்கக்கண்டேன்.
6 And one said to the man clothed with linen, who was upon the waters of the river, How long shall be the end of the wonders?
௬சணல்உடை அணிந்தவரும், ஆற்றின் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் நிற்கிறவரை ஒருவன் நோக்கி: இந்த ஆச்சரியமானவைகளின் முடிவுவர எவ்வளவுகாலம் ஆகும் என்று கேட்டான்.
7 And I heard the man clothed with linen who was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left unto the heavens, and sware by him that liveth unto times age-abiding, —For a set time and times and a half, and, when the dispersion of a part of the holy people, is brought to an end, then shall come to an end all these things.
௭அப்பொழுது சணல்உடை அணிந்தவரும் ஆற்றின் தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் நிற்கிறவருமாகிய மனிதன் தம்முடைய வலதுகரத்தையும் தம்முடைய இடதுகரத்தையும் வானத்திற்கு நேராக ஏறெடுத்து, ஒரு காலமும், காலங்களும், அரைக்காலமும் ஆகும் என்றும்; பரிசுத்த மக்களின் வல்லமையைச் சிதறடித்தல், முடிவு பெறும்போதே இவைகளெல்லாம் நிறைவேறித் தீருமென்றும் என்றென்றைக்கும் ஜீவித்திருக்கிறவர்பேரில் ஆணையிடக்கேட்டேன்.
8 And, I, heard, but could not understand, —so I said, O my lord! what shall be the issue of these things?
௮நான் அதைக் கேட்டும், அதின் அர்த்தத்தை அறியவில்லை; ஆகையால்: என் ஆண்டவனே, இவைகளின் முடிவு எப்படியிருக்கும் என்று கேட்டேன்.
9 Then said he, Go thy way, Daniel; for closed up and sealed are the words, until the time of the end.
௯அதற்கு அவன்: தானியேலே, போகலாம்; இந்த வார்த்தைகள் முடிவுகாலம்வரை புதைபொருளாக வைக்கப்பட்டும் முத்திரிக்கப்பட்டும் இருக்கும்.
10 Many, will purify themselves and be made white and be refined, but the lawless, will act lawlessly, and none of the lawless, shall understand, —but, they who make wise, shall understand;
௧0அநேகர் சுத்தமும் வெண்மையுமாக்கப்பட்டு, புடமிடப்பட்டவர்களாக விளங்குவார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கர்களோ துன்மார்க்கமாக நடப்பார்கள்; துன்மார்க்கரில் ஒருவனும் உணரமாட்டான், ஞானவான்களோ உணர்ந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
11 and, from the time of the taking away of the continual [ascending-sacrifice], and the placing of the horrid abomination that astoundeth, [shall be] one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
௧௧அனுதினபலி நீக்கப்பட்டு, பாழாக்கும் அருவருப்பு நிலைநிறுத்தப்படும் காலம்முதல் ஆயிரத்து இருநூற்றுத் தொண்ணூறு நாட்கள் ஆகும்.
12 Happy! is he that waiteth, and attaineth to one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
௧௨ஆயிரத்து முந்நூற்று முப்பத்தைந்து நாட்கள்வரை காத்திருந்து சேருகிறவன் பாக்கியவான்.
13 But, thou, go thy way to the end, —and thou shalt rest, and shalt rise to thy lot at the end of the days.
௧௩நீயோவென்றால் முடிவுவரும்வரை போயிரு; நீ இளைப்பாறிக்கொண்டிருந்து, நாட்களின் முடிவிலே உனக்குரிய பங்கைப்பெற எழுந்திருப்பாய் என்றான்.
