Amos 8
1 Here, My Lord, Yahweh, gave me to see, —and lo! there was a basket of summer fruit.
১প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই, মোক পুনৰ এটা দর্শন দেখুৱালে: তেওঁ মোক এপাচি পকা ফল দেখুৱালে।
2 So then he said, What canst thou see, Amos? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said Yahweh unto me, The end hath come unto my people Israel, I will not again any more forgive them;
২তেওঁ ক’লে, “আমোচ তুমি কি দেখা পাইছা?” মই কলোঁ, “এপাচি পকা ফল।” তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই মোক ক’লে, “মোৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ শেষ সময় উপস্থিত হৈছে: মই তেওঁলোকক কেতিয়াও পুনৰ ক্ষমা নকৰিম।
3 but palace-songs, shall become howlings, in that day, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, —Many shall be the dead bodies in every place—cast forth—[with a] hush!
৩প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “সেইদিনা ৰাজকীয়-মন্দিৰৰ গানবোৰ বিলাপৰ ধ্বনি হ’ব; মৰা-শৱ অনেক হ’ব; সেইবোৰ নীৰৱে পেলোৱা হ’ব। “মনে মনে থাকা!”
4 Hear this, ye who pant after the needy, and to make an end of the oppressed of the land:
৪তোমালোক যিসকলে দৰিদ্ৰক ভৰিৰে গছকা আৰু দুখীয়াক নাশ কৰিছা, তোমালোকে এই কথা শুনা।
5 Who say, When will the new moon, pass away, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath that we may open grain? who diminish the ephah, and increase the shekel, and who falsify by deceitful weights:
৫তোমালোকে কোৱা যে, “ন-জোনৰ উৎসৱ কেতিয়া শেষ হ’ব? “আমি পুনৰ শস্য বিক্রী কৰিবৰ বাবে, বিশ্ৰাম-দিন কেতিয়া শেষ হ’ব? আমি বজাৰত ঘেহুঁ বিক্রী কৰিবৰ বাবে, আমি ঐফা সৰু কৰিম, চেকেল বঢ়াম, আৰু অন্যায়ৰ তুলাচনী ব্যৱহাৰ কৰি প্ৰবঞ্চনা কৰিম।
6 Who buy—for silver—the poor, and the needy for a pair of shoes, —and that the refuse of the grain we may sell.
৬ৰূপৰ বিনিময়ত দৰিদ্রক আৰু এযোৰ জোতাৰ বিনিময়ত অভাৱীক কিনি ল’ম। সাৰি পেলাই দিয়া ঘেহুঁ বিক্রী কৰিম।”
7 Sworn hath Yahweh, by the Excellency of Jacob, —Surely I will never forget any of their doings!
৭যাকোবৰ গৌৰৱৰ নামেৰে যিহোৱাই শপত খাই কৈছে, “মই নিশ্চয়ে তেওঁলোকে যি কাৰ্যবোৰ কৰিছে, তাৰ এটিকো কেতিয়াও নাপাহৰিম।”
8 Is it not, for this, that the land, shall tremble? and shall mourn every inhabitant therein? Shall it not come up—like the Nile, all of it, and be tossed and subside like the river of Egypt?
৮ইয়াৰ বাবে জানো দেশ নকঁপিব? তাৰ মাজত বাস কৰা সকলোৱে জানো বিলাপ নকৰিব? গোটেই দেশখন নীল নদীৰ বন্যাৰ দৰে ওফন্দি উঠিব, অশান্ত হ’ব আৰু পুনৰ নামি যাব, ঠিক মিচৰৰ নদীখনৰ নিচিনাই হ’ব।
9 Yea it shall come to pass, in that day, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, that I will cause the sun to go in at high noon, —and will darken the earth on a day of brightness!
৯প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “সেই দিনা মই দুপৰীয়াতে সূৰ্যক অস্ত যাবলৈ দিম, দুপৰীয়াই পৃথিৱীক অন্ধকাৰ কৰিম।
10 So will I turn your festivals into mourning, and all your songs into a dirge, and I will bring up—on all loins—sackcloth, and upon every head—baldness, —and I will make it like the mourning for an only one, even the afterpart thereof, as a day of bitterness.
১০মই তোমালোকৰ উৎসৱবোৰ শোকলৈ আৰু তোমালোকৰ সকলো গান বিলাপলৈ পৰিণত কৰিম; তোমালোক সকলোৰে কঁকালত শোকবস্ত্রৰ চট পিন্ধাম, প্ৰত্যেকৰ মূৰ টকলা হ’ব; একেটি পুত্ৰৰ বিয়োগৰ শোকৰ দৰে মই সেই সময়ক শোকলৈ পৰিণত কৰিম, আৰু শেষলৈকে এই তিক্ততাৰ দিন চলি থাকিব।
11 Lo! days are coming, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, that I will send a hunger throughout the land, —not a hunger for food, nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the words of Yahweh;
১১প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “চোৱা, এনে দিন আহিছে, যেতিয়া মই দেশৰ মাজলৈ দুর্ভিক্ষ পঠাম; লোকে তেতিয়া অন্নৰ বাবে ক্ষুধিত অথবা পানীৰ বাবে তৃষ্ণাতুৰ নহ’ব। কিন্তু যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনাৰ বাবে আকাল হ’ব।
12 Therefore shall men rove about—from sea to sea, and from the north even unto sunrise, —they shall run to and fro—seeking the word of Yahweh, but shall not find [it].
১২লোকসকলে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য বিচাৰি মৰু সাগৰৰ পৰা ভূমধ্য সাগৰলৈকে আৰু উত্তৰৰ পৰা পূবলৈকে ভ্ৰমণ কৰি ইফালে সিফালে ঘূৰি ফুৰিব। কিন্তু তাক নাপাব।
13 In that day, shall the fair virgins and the choice young men faint for thirst.
১৩সেই সময়ত সুন্দৰী যুৱতী আৰু সুন্দৰ যুৱকসকল পিয়াহত মূর্চ্ছা যাব।
14 They who swear by the Guilt of Samaria, and say, As thy God, liveth, O Dan! and, As the Way of Beer-sheba, liveth, shall fall, and shall not rise any more.
১৪যিসকলে চমৰিয়াৰ পাপৰ শপত খাই কয়, ‘হে দান, তোমাৰ জীৱন্ত দেৱতাৰ শপত’ নাইবা কয়, ‘বেৰ-চেবাৰ দেৱতাৰ শপত’ তেওঁলোক পতিত হ’ব; পুনৰায় কেতিয়াও নুঠিব।
