Amos 2
1 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Moab, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because he burned the bones of the King of Edom to lime,
১যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “মোৱাবৰ তিনিটা, এনে কি চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম; কিয়নো সি ইদোমৰ ৰজাৰ হাড়বোৰ পুৰি চূৰ্ণ কৰিলে।
2 Therefore will I send a fire into Moab, which shall devour the palaces of Kerioth—and Moab, shall die with tumult, with war- cry, with the sound of a horn;
২সেইবাবে মই মোৱাবৰ ওপৰলৈ অগ্নি নিক্ষেপ কৰিম; সেয়ে কৰিয়োতৰ দুর্গবোৰ গ্ৰাস কৰি পেলাব; যুদ্ধৰ ধ্বনি আৰু ভীষণ শিঙাৰ শব্দেৰে সৈতে কোলাহলৰ মাজত মোৱাবৰ পতন হ’ব।
3 And I will cut off the judge out of her midst, and, all her rulers, will I slay with him, saith Yahweh.
৩মোৱাবৰ মাজৰ পৰা মই বিচাৰকৰ্ত্তাক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিম আৰু তেওঁৰ লগত সকলো অধিকাৰীকো বধ কৰিম।”
4 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Judah, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because they have rejected the law of Yahweh, and, his statutes, have not kept, but their falsehoods, have led them astray, after the which their fathers, did walk,
৪যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “যিহূদাৰ তিনিটা, এনে কি চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম। কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে যিহোৱাৰ ব্যৱস্থা অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰিলে; তেওঁৰ বিধিবোৰ পালন নকৰিলে; তেওঁলোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলে যি মিথ্যা দেৱতাবোৰৰ পাছত চলিছিল, তেওঁলোকো সেইদৰে বিপথে গ’ল।
5 Therefore will I send a fire upon Judah, —which shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
৫সেইবাবে মই যিহূদাৰ ওপৰলৈ অগ্নি নিক্ষেপ কৰিম আৰু সেয়ে যিৰূচালেমৰ দুর্গবোৰ গ্ৰাস কৰি পেলাব।
6 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Israel, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because they have sold—for silver—the righteous, and the needy—for a pair of shoes:
৬যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “ইস্ৰায়েলৰ তিনিটা, এনে কি চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম; কাৰণ তাৰ লোকসকলে ৰূপৰ বিনিময়ত সৎ লোকক আৰু এযোৰ জোতাৰ বিনিময়ত দৰিদ্ৰক বিক্রি কৰে।
7 Who strive to bring the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and, the way of the oppressed, they pervert, —Yea, a man and his own father, go in unto the maid, to profane my holy Name!
৭তেওঁলোকে দৰিদ্রৰ মূৰবোৰ মাটিৰ ধূলিত গছকে আৰু পীড়িতসকলক পথৰ পৰা দূৰলৈ ঠেলি পঠায়। পিতৃ আৰু পুত্রই একেজনী যুৱতীৰ সৈতে শয়ন কৰে আৰু এইদৰে মোৰ পবিত্ৰ নাম অপবিত্ৰ কৰে।
8 And, on pledged garments, they recline, beside every altar, —and, exacted wine, do they drink, in the house of their God.
৮তেওঁলোক প্ৰত্যেক যজ্ঞ-বেদীৰ কাষত বন্ধকত লোৱা কাপোৰৰ ওপৰত শোৱে। জৰিমনা কৰি পোৱা ধনেৰে দ্রাক্ষাৰস কিনি তেওঁলোকে তেওঁলোকৰ দেৱতাৰ মন্দিৰত পান কৰে।
9 Yet it was, I, who destroyed the Amorite, from before them, whose height was, like the height of cedars, and, strong, was he, like the oaks, —but I destroyed his fruit above, and his roots beneath.
৯ইমোৰীয়াসকল যদিও এৰচ গছৰ নিচিনা ওখ আৰু অল্লোন গছৰ নিচিনা শক্তিশালী, আছিল তথাপিও তোমালোকৰ সন্মুখতে মই সেই ইমোৰীয়া লোকক ধ্বংস কৰিলোঁ; মই ওপৰত থকা তেওঁলোকৰ ফল আৰু তলত থকা তেওঁলোকৰ শিপা নষ্ট কৰিলোঁ।
10 And it was, I, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, —and led you in the desert, forty years, to take possession of the land of the Amorites;
১০সেই ইমোৰীয়াসকলৰ দেশত আধিপত্য দিবৰ কাৰণে ময়েই মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা তোমালোকক উলিয়াই আনি চল্লিশ বছৰলৈকে মৰুপ্রান্তৰত লৈ ফুৰালোঁ।
11 And I raised up, of your sons, for prophets, and, of your young men, for Nazirites, —Was it not even so, ye sons of Israel? Demandeth Yahweh;
১১হে ইস্রায়েলবাসী, মই যে তোমালোকৰ সন্তান সকলৰ মাজৰ কোনো কোনোক ভাববাদী আৰু যুৱকসকলৰ মাজৰ কোনো কোনোক নাচৰীয় হিচাবে বাচি ললোঁ, এই কথা জানো সত্য নহয়?” যিহোৱাই ইয়াকে কৈছে।
12 And yet ye caused the Nazirites to drink wine, —and, on the prophet, laid ye command, saying, Ye shall not prophesy!
১২“কিন্তু তোমালোকে সেই নাচৰীয়সকলক দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস পান কৰালা আৰু ভাৱবাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰিবলৈ সেই ভাববাদীসকলক নিষেধ কৰিলা।
13 Lo! I, am pressed under you, —as a full cart is pressed by its sheaves,
১৩চোৱা, শস্যভৰা গাড়ীৰ তলত শস্য পৰিলে যেনেকৈ গুড়ি হয়, তেনেকৈ এতিয়া মই তোমালোকক পিহি গুড়ি কৰিম।
14 Therefore shall flight, perish, from the swift, and, the mighty, shall not invigorate his strength, —nor shall, the hero, escape with his life;
১৪সেই কালত দ্রুতগামী লোকেও পলায়ন কৰি ৰক্ষা পোৱাৰ উপায় নাথাকিব; বলবানে নিজৰ বল দেখাব নোৱাৰিব আৰু পৰাক্রমীজনেও নিজৰ প্ৰাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিব নোৱাৰিব;
15 Nor, he that handleth the bow, make a stand, and, the swift on his feet, shall not escape, —nor, he that rideth on a horse, escape with his life:
১৫ধনুৰ্দ্ধৰ স্থিৰভাৱে ৰৈ থাকিব নোৱাৰিব; বেগী দৌৰবিদজনে পলাব নোৱাৰিব; এনেকি অশ্বাৰোহীয়ে নিজৰ প্রাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিব নোৱাৰিব।
16 Nay, he that is stout in his heart, among heroes, naked, shall flee, in that day, Declareth Yahweh.
১৬যোদ্ধাসকলৰ মাজৰ অতি সাহিয়াল লোকেও সেই দিনা উলঙ্গ হৈ পলাই যাব।” ইয়াক যিহোৱাই কৈছে।
