Amos 1
1 The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, —of which (words) he had vision concerning Israel, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Naawatna dagitoy a banbanag kadagiti aldaw a ni Uzzias ti ari ti Juda ken kadagiti aldaw a ti ari ti Israel ket ni Jereboam a putot a lalaki ni Joas, dua a tawen sakbay ti ginggined.
2 So then he said—Yahweh, out of Zion, will roar, and, out of Jerusalem, will utter his voice, —and the pastures of the shepherds, shall mourn, and the top of Carmel, be dried up.
Kinunana, “Agungor ni Yahweh idiay Sion; ipigsana ti timekna idiay Jerusalem. Agladingit dagiti pagpapaaraban dagiti agpaspastor, aglaylay ti tuktok ti Carmel.”
3 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Damascus, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because, with threshing instruments of iron, they have threshed Gilead.
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: “Gapu iti tallo a basol ti Damasco, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta inirikda ti Galaad babaen kadagiti landok a maar-aramat a pag-irik.
4 Therefore will send a fire, into the house of Hazael, —which shall devour the palaces of Ben- hadad;
Mangidissuorakto iti apuy iti balay ni Hazael ket mapuoranto dagiti sarikedked ti Ben Hadad.
5 And I will break the bolt of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant out of the plain of Aven, and the holder of the sceptre out of the house of Eden, —and the people of Syria, shall be exiled, unto Kir, saith Yahweh.
Tukkolekto dagiti balunet ti ruangan ti Damasco ken parmekekto ti tao nga agnanaed idiay Biqat Aven kasta met ti tao a mangig-iggem iti setro a nagtaud idiay Beteden; dagiti tattao ti Aram ket maitalawdanto kas balud idiay Kir,” kuna ni Yahweh.
6 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Gaza, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their taking into exile the whole body of exiles, to deliver to Edom,
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: “Gapu iti tallo a basol ti Gaza, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta intalawda a kas balud ti maysa a bunggoy ti tattao tapno iyawatda ida iti Edom.
7 Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, —which shall devour the palaces thereof;
Mangidissuorakto iti apuy kadagiti pader ti Gaza ket mapuoranto dagiti sarikedkedna.
8 And I will cut off the inhabitant out of Ashdod, and the holder of the sceptre out of Ashkelon, —and will turn my hand against Ekron, So shall perish the remnant of the Philistines, saith My Lord, Yahweh.

9 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Tyre, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their delivering up the whole body of exiles to Edom, and they remembered not the brotherly covenant,
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: “Gapu iti tallo a basol ti Tiro, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta inyawatda ti maysa a bunggoy ti tattao iti Edom ken sinalungasingda ti tulagan ti panagkakabsatda.
10 Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, —which shall devour the palaces thereof.
Mangidissuorakto iti apuy kadagiti pader ti Tiro ket daytoyto ti mangkisap kadagiti sarikedkedna.
11 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Edom, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because he pursued, with the sword, his brother, and stifled his compassions, and his anger tare in pieces evermore, and, his indignation, kept watch perpetually,
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, “Gapu iti tallo a basol ti Edom, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta kinamatna ti kabsatna babaen iti kampilan ken saan pulos a naasi. Saan a nagsardeng ti ungetna ken awan patingga ti pungtotna.
12 Therefore will I send a fire into Teman, —which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
Mangidissuorakto iti apuy idiay Teman ket daytoyto ti mangkisap kadagiti palasio ti Bozra.”
13 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of the sons of Ammon, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their ripping up the pregnant women of Gilead, that they might enlarge their own boundary,
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, “Gapu iti tallo a basol dagiti tattao ti Amon, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta binutiakanda dagiti masikog a babbai iti Galaad tapno mapalawada dagiti beddengda.
14 Therefore will I kindle a fire upon the wall of Rabbah, which shall devour the palaces thereof, —with a war-cry in the day of battle, with tempest in the day of storm-wind;
Pasgedakto dagiti pader ti Raba ket mapuoranto dagiti palasio, nga addaan panagpukkaw iti aldaw ti gubat, nga addaan iti bagyo iti aldaw ti alipugpog.
15 And Milcom shall go into exile, —he and his rulers together, saith Yahweh.
Maitalawto a kas balud ti arida ken dagiti opisialesna,” kuna ni Yahweh.
