Amos 1
1 The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, —of which (words) he had vision concerning Israel, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
Думите на Амос, който бе от говедарите на Текое, който чу във в? дение относно Израиля в дните на Юдовия цар Озия, и в дните на Израилевия цар Иеровоама, и Иоасовия син, две години преди заметресението.
2 So then he said—Yahweh, out of Zion, will roar, and, out of Jerusalem, will utter his voice, —and the pastures of the shepherds, shall mourn, and the top of Carmel, be dried up.
и рече: - Господ ще изрикае от Сион, И ще издаде гласа Си от Eрусалим; Пасбищата на овчарите ще ридаят, И върхът на Кармил ще повехне.
3 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Damascus, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because, with threshing instruments of iron, they have threshed Gilead.
Така казва Господ: Поради три престъпления на Дамаск, Да! Поради четири, няма да отменя наказанието му, Защото вързаха Галаад с железни дикани;
4 Therefore will send a fire, into the house of Hazael, —which shall devour the palaces of Ben- hadad;
Но аз ще изпратя огън в дома Азаилов, Та ще изпояде палатите на Венадада.
5 And I will break the bolt of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant out of the plain of Aven, and the holder of the sceptre out of the house of Eden, —and the people of Syria, shall be exiled, unto Kir, saith Yahweh.
Аз ще строша лостовете на Дамаск, И ще изтребя от Авенското поле жителя, И от Еденовия дом оногова, който държи скиптър; И Сирийските люде ще бъдат откарани пленници в Кир, казва Господ.
6 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Gaza, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their taking into exile the whole body of exiles, to deliver to Edom,
Така казва Господ: Поради три престъпления на Газа, Да! поради четири, няма да отменя наказанието й, Защото плениха всичките Ми люде, За да ги предадат на Едома:
7 Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, —which shall devour the palaces thereof;
Но аз ще изпратя огън върху стената на Газа, Та ще изпояде палатите й.
8 And I will cut off the inhabitant out of Ashdod, and the holder of the sceptre out of Ashkelon, —and will turn my hand against Ekron, So shall perish the remnant of the Philistines, saith My Lord, Yahweh.
Ще изтребя от Азот жителя, И от Аскалон оногова, който държи скиптър; Ще обърна ръката Си против Акарон, И останалите от Филистимците ще загинат, казва Господ Иеова.
9 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Tyre, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their delivering up the whole body of exiles to Edom, and they remembered not the brotherly covenant,
Така казва Господ: Поради три престъпления на Тир, Да! поради четири, няма да отменя наказанието му, Защото предадоха всичките Ми люде в плен на Едома, И не помниха братския завет;
10 Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, —which shall devour the palaces thereof.
Но аз ще изпратя огън върху стената на Тир, Та ще изпояде палатите му.
11 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Edom, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because he pursued, with the sword, his brother, and stifled his compassions, and his anger tare in pieces evermore, and, his indignation, kept watch perpetually,
Така казва Господ: Поради три престъпления на Едом, Да! поради четири, няма да отменя наказанието му, Защото прогони брата си с меч, И, като отхвърли всяко милосърдие, Негодуванието му разкъсваше непрестанно, И той пазеше гнева си всякога;
12 Therefore will I send a fire into Teman, —which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
Но Аз ще изпратя огън върху Теман, Та ще изпояде палатите на Восора.
13 Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of the sons of Ammon, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their ripping up the pregnant women of Gilead, that they might enlarge their own boundary,
Така казва Господ: Поради три престъпления на Амонците, Да! поради четири, няма да отменя наказанието им, Защото разпаряха бременните жени на Галаад, За да разширят своя предел;
14 Therefore will I kindle a fire upon the wall of Rabbah, which shall devour the palaces thereof, —with a war-cry in the day of battle, with tempest in the day of storm-wind;
Но Аз ще запаля огън в стената на Рава, Та ще изпояде палатите й Всред силно викане в деня на боя, Всред вихрушка в деня на бурята;
15 And Milcom shall go into exile, —he and his rulers together, saith Yahweh.
И царят им ще отиде в плен, Той и първенците му заедно, казва Господ.
