2 Timothy 3

1 But, of this, be taking note—that, in last days, there will set in perilous seasons;

١ وَاعْلَمْ هَذَا الأَمْرَ: أَنَّ أَزْمِنَةً صَعْبَةً سَتَعُمُّ فِي الأَيَّامِ الأَخِيرَةِ؛

2 For men will be—fond of themselves, fond of money, ostentatious, arrogant, defamers, to parents, unyielding, unthankful, unkind,

٢ إِذْ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ مُحِبِّينَ لأَنْفُسِهِمْ، مُحِبِّينَ لِلْمَالِ، مُتَكَبِّرِينَ، مُبَاهِينَ بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ، شَتَّامِينَ، غَيْرَ مُطِيعِينَ لِوَالِدِيهِمْ، نَاكِرِينَ لِلْجَمِيلِ، دَنِسِينَ،

3 without natural affection, accepting no truce, given to intrigue, without self-control, uncivilized, unfriendly to good men,

٣ مُتَحَجِّرِي الْعَوَاطِفِ، غَيْرَ صَفُوحِينَ، نَمَّامِينَ، جَامِحِي الأَهْوَاءِ، شَرِسِينَ غَيْرَ مُحِبِّينَ لِلصَّلاحِ،

4 traitors, reckless, beclouded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,

٤ خَائِنِينَ، وَقِحِينَ، مُدَّعِينَ، مُحِبِّينَ لِلَّذَّاتِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ مَحَبَّتِهِمْ لِلهِ،

5 having a form of godliness, but, the power thereof, denying! and, from these, turn away;

٥ لَهُمْ مِنَ التَّقْوَى مَظْهَرُهَا وَلكِنَّهُمْ لا يَحْيَوْنَ بِقُوَّتِهَا، فَعَنْ هؤُلاءِ النَّاسِ ابْتَعِدْ!

6 For, of these, are they who enter into the houses, and captivate silly women, [women] laden with sins, led on by manifold covetings,

٦ فَمِنْ هؤُلاءِ مَنْ يَدْخُلُونَ الْبُيُوتَ خُلْسَةً، وَيُوْقِعُونَ فِي حَبَائِلِهِمْ بَعْضَ النِّسَاءِ الضَّعِيفَاتِ الْمُثْقَلاتِ بِالْخَطَايَا، اللَّوَاتِي تَجْرُفُهُنَّ شَهْوَاتٌ مُخْتَلِفَةٌ،

7 Ever learning and never, unto a personal knowledge of truth, able to come;

٧ يُصْغِينَ لِلتَّعْلِيمِ دَائِماً، وَلا يَسْتَطِعْنَ أَبَداً أَنْ يَبْلُغْنَ مَعْرِفَةَ الْحَقِّ بِالتَّمَامِ!

8 Moreover, like as, Jannes and Jambres, withstood Moses, so, these men also, withstand the truth, —men utterly corrupted in their mind, disapproved concerning their faith;

٨ وَمِثْلَمَا قَاوَمَ (السَّاحِرَانِ) يَنِّيسُ وَيَمْبِرِيسُ مُوسَى، كَذَلِكَ أَيْضاً يُقَاوِمُ هَؤُلاءِ الْحَقَّ؛ أُنَاسٌ عُقُولُهُمْ فَاسِدَةٌ، وَقَدْ تَبَيَّنَ أَنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ أَهْلٍ لِلإِيمَانِ.

9 But they shall not force their way further, for, their folly, shall be, fully evident, unto all, —as also, that of those men, became.

٩ وَلكِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَزْدَادُوا تَقَدُّماً، لأَنَّ حَمَاقَتَهُمْ سَتَنْكَشِفُ لِلْجَمِيعِ، مِثْلَمَا انْكَشَفَتْ حَمَاقَةُ الرَّجُلَيْنِ الْمَذْكُورَيْنِ.

10 But, thou, hast closely studied—my teaching, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, endurance,

١٠ وَأَمَّا أَنْتَ، فَقَدْ عَرَفْتَ جَيِّداً تَعْلِيمِي، وَسِيرَتِي، وَهَدَفِي، وَإِيمَانِي، وَتَحَمُّلِي لِلْمَشَقَّاتِ، وَمَحَبَّتِي، وَثَبَاتِي،

11 persecutions, sufferings, what manner of things, befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra, what manner of persecutions, I endured, —and, out of all, the Lord, rescued me; —

١١ وَاضْطِهَادَاتِي، وَآلامِي تِلْكَ الَّتِي حَدَثَتْ لِي فِي مُدُنِ أَنْطَاكِيَةَ وَإِيقُونِيَّةَ وَلِسْتِرَةَ وغَيْرِهَا؛ وَكَمِ احْتَمَلْتُ مِنِ اضْطِهَادَاتٍ، وَالرَّبُّ أَنْقَذَنِي مِنْهَا جَمِيعاً!

12 Yea and, all who are determined to live in a godly manner in Christ Jesus, will be persecuted;

١٢ وَحَقّاً، إِنَّ جَمِيعَ الَّذِينَ يَعْزِمُونَ أَنْ يَعِيشُوا عِيشَةَ التَّقْوَى فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ يُضْطَهَدُونَ.

13 Whereas, wicked men and howling impostors, will force their way to the worse, deceiving and being deceived.

١٣ أَمَّا النَّاسُ الأَشْرَارُ وَالدَّجَّالُونَ الْمُحْتَالُونَ، فَيَتَقَدَّمُونَ فِي الشَّرِّ، مُضَلِّلِينَ الآخَرِينَ وَهُمْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ مُضَلَّلُونَ!

14 But, thou, —abide in the things which thou hast learned, and been entrusted with, knowing, from whom, thou hast learned [them], —

١٤ أَمَّا أَنْتَ فَاثْبُتْ عَلَى مَا تَعَلَّمْتَهُ وَتَيَقَّنْتَهُ بِالتَّمَامِ، إِذْ تَعْرِفُ عَلَى يَدِ مَنْ تَعَلَّمْتَ ذَلِكَ.

15 And that, from a babe, those sacred letters, thou hast known which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through the faith which is in Christ Jesus:

١٥ وَتَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ مُنْذُ حَدَاثَةِ سِنِّكَ تَعْرِفُ الْكُتُبَ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ، وَهِيَ الْقَادِرَةُ أَنْ تَجْعَلَكَ حَكِيماً لِبُلُوغِ الْخَلاصِ عَنْ طَرِيقِ الإِيمَانِ فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ.

16 Every scripture, [is] God-breathed, and profitable—unto teaching, unto conviction, unto correction, unto the discipline that is in righteousness, —

١٦ إِنَّ الْكِتَابَ بِكُلِّ مَا فِيهِ، قَدْ أَوْحَى بِهِ اللهُ؛ وَهُوَ مُفِيدٌ لِلتَّعْلِيمِ وَالتَّوْبِيخِ وَالتَّقْوِيمِ وَتَهْذِيبِ الإِنْسَانِ فِي الْبِرِّ،

17 In order that, ready, may be the man, of God, unto every good work, being well-prepared.

١٧ لِكَيْ يَجْعَلَ إِنْسَانَ اللهِ مُؤَهَّلاً تَأَهُّلاً كَامِلاً، وَمُجَهَّزاً لِكُلِّ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ.
