< 2 Timothy 2 >

1 Thou, therefore, my child, be empowering thyself in the favour that is in Christ Jesus,
Etu karone, moi laga bacha, Jisu Khrista pora aha anugraha te takot pora khara thakibi.
2 And, the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same, entrust thou unto faithful men, such as shall be, competent, to teach, others also.
Moi bisi manu ke koi diya kotha khan juntu tumi huni loise, etu kotha khan loi kene dharmik aru dusra ke sikhabo para manu khan ke jimedari di dibi.
3 Take thy part in suffering hardship, as a brave soldier of Christ Jesus: —
Dukh digdar paile bhi, amikhan logote Khrista Jisu laga ekjon bhal sipahi hoi kene thakibi.
4 No one that is serving as a soldier, entangleth himself with the matters of his livelihood, that he may please him that hath summoned him to serve as a soldier;
Sipahi te thaka khan kitia bhi taikhan laga pura dhyan to etu jibon laga kaam te nadiye, kintu taike kun jimedari dise, taike khushi kori bole kosis kore.
5 If, moreover, any man, contend even in the games, he is not crowned, unless, lawfully, he contend;
Aru, ekjon pola manu jun polai, tai thik niyom te nakhilile tai inam napai.
6 The toiling husbandman, ought, first, of the fruits, to partake:
Ekjon kheti-kora manu, jun bisi dukh kori kene bijon lagase, tai he sobse poila kheti kata laga dhaan to pabo lage.
7 Think, as to what I am speaking; for the Lord will give thee discernment in all things.
Moi ki kotha koi ase etu ke bhabibi, kele koile Probhu pora sob te bujhi bole gyaan dibo.
8 Keep in mind Jesus Christ—raised from among the dead, of the seed of David, —according to my joyful message:
Jisu Khrista ke yaad koribi, jun mora pora jee uthise, jun David laga bijon pora ahise, ami prochar kori thaka susamachar hisab-te
9 In which I am suffering hardship, even unto bonds, as an evil-doer; but, the word of God, is not bound.
juntu nimite ami iman dukh te ase, ekjon biya kaam kora manu nisena moike bandi kene ase. Hoilebi Isor laga kotha ke kitia bhi bondh kori kene rakhibole na paribo.
10 For this cause, am I enduring, all things, for the sake of the chosen, in order that, they also, may obtain, the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus along with glory age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
Etu karone, Isor laga basi luwa manu khan nimite moi dhorjo kori kene thake, titia taikhan bhi poritran juntu Jisu Khrista te ase, aru anonto mohima thaka to pabo. (aiōnios g166)
11 Faithful, the saying—for, If we have died together, we shall also live together,
Etu kotha khan hosa ase: “Kitia amikhan Khrista logote morise, amikhan bhi tai logote jinda thakibo.
12 If we endure, we shall also reign together; If we shall deny, he also, will deny us,
Kitia amikhan dhorjo thakibo, amikhan bhi Tai logote raj koribo. Jodi amikhan Taike chari dise koile, Tai bhi amikhan ke chari dibo.
13 If we are faithless, he, faithful, abideth, —for, deny himself, he cannot!
Jodi amikhan hosa pora nathakile bhi, Khrista to pura mon dikene amikhan logote thake, Kilekoile Tai nijorke misa bona bole napare.”
14 Of these things, be putting [them] in remembrance, adjuring [them] before God not to be waging word-battles, —useful, for nothing, occasioning a subversion of them that hearken.
Hodai etu kotha khan taikhan ke yaad koridi thakibi, aru Isor kotha loi kene jhagara kori bole nadibi, etu pora eku bhal nahe, ulta etu huni kene manu biya hoi jabo.
15 Give diligence, thyself, approved, to present unto God, —a workman not to be put to shame, skillfully handling the word of truth.
Isor pora tumike bhal ase kobo nimite, aru kaam kori bole sorom nathaka ekjon hobole para tak kosis koribi, aru hosa kotha loi kene hikai dibi.
16 But, the profane pratings, shun; for, unto more ungodliness, will they force themselves on;
Hoile bhi jun khan Isor laga kotha nohoi kene misa-misi kotha kore eitu khan pora dur thakibi, kele koile taikhan pora aru bhi biya rasta te loijabo.
17 And, their discourse, as a gangrene, will eat its way; —of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
Taikhan laga kotha to ekta ghao nisena sob jagate ulai jai, eitu khan majote Hymenaeus aru Philetus bhi ase,
18 Men who, concerning the truth, have erred, affirming, a resurrection, already, to have taken place, and are overthrowing the faith, of some.
jun khan hosa kotha pora polai jaise. Taikhan pora punoruthan din to poila pora jai jaise, aru eneka koi kene dusra laga biswas ke khotom koridi ase.
19 Howbeit, the firm foundation of God, standeth, having this seal—The Lord hath acknowledged them who are his, and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord stand aloof from unrighteousness.
Hoilebi, Isor laga bhetimul to mojbut pora khara thake, aru eneka likhi kene ase: “Probhu jane jun khan Tai laga ase” aru “Jun manu Probhu laga naam te biswas kore, taikhan adharmikta thaka kaam nakoribo lage.”
20 But, in a great house, there are not only gold and silver vessels, but, also wooden and earthen: and, some, indeed, for honour, while, some, are for dishonour:
Ekta dangor ghor te, suna aru chandi pora bana samankhan ase, hoile bhi khuri aru mati pora bona saman khan bhi ase, aru kunba saman to dangor kaam nimite cholai aru kunba saman to hodai cholai.
21 If, therefore, anyone will, for pureness, sever himself from these, he shall be a vessel for honour, hallowed, meet for the Master’s use, for every good work, prepared.
Etu nimite jun manu nijorke biya khan pora sapha kori loise, taike bhal kaam nimite rakhibo, etu pichete tai to pobitro hobo aru tai laga malik pora taike chola bo. Aru tai to sob bhal kaam nimite taiyar thakibo.
22 But, from the youthful covetings, flee! and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, along with them who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
Etu nimite jawan howa laga mangso itcha thaka pora dur polabi aru dharmikta, biswas, morom aru shanti bisari bhi aru jun pora Probhu ke sapha mon pora mate, eneka thakibi.
23 But, from the foolish and undisciplined questionings, excuse thyself, knowing that they gender strifes;
Hoile bhi murkho aru misa-misi kotha khan pora dur thakibi, tumi jani ase etu kotha khan pora jhagara ulai.
24 And, a servant of the Lord, ought not to strive, but to be, gentle, towards all, apt in teaching, ready to endure malice, —
Hoile bhi ekjon Isor laga noukar to jhagara nakoribo lage, kintu sob age te nomro thakibi, aru bhal sikhai dibi, aru dhorjo koribi,
25 In meekness, bringing under discipline them that oppose themselves, lest at any time God should give them repentance unto a personal knowledge of truth,
jun tumi laga kotha noloi, taike nomro pora buja bhi, hobo pare Isor taikhan laga mon chui kene hosa laga gyaan te mon ghurai dibo pare,
26 And they should wake up to sobriety out of, the adversary’s, snare, —though they have been taken alive by him for, that one’s, will.
aru bhoot laga jaal pora polabole taikhan laga dimag khuli dibo pare, juntu jagate tai laga khushi nimite taikhan ke dhuri rakhi ase.
