< 2 Thessalonians 3 >

1 For the rest, brethren, be praying for us, —that, the word of the Lord, may be running, and gaining glory, according as [it did] even with you;
he bhraatara. h, "se. se vadaami, yuuyam asmabhyamida. m praarthayadhva. m yat prabho rvaakya. m yu. smaaka. m madhye yathaa tathaivaanyatraapi pracaret maanya nca bhavet;
2 And that we may be rescued from the presuming and wicked men; for, not all, hold the faith.
yacca vayam avivecakebhyo du. s.tebhya"sca lokebhyo rak. saa. m praapnuyaama yata. h sarvve. saa. m vi"svaaso na bhavati|
3 Faithful, is the Lord, —who will confirm you, and guard you from the wicked one:
kintu prabhu rvi"svaasya. h sa eva yu. smaan sthiriikari. syati du. s.tasya karaad uddhari. syati ca|
4 We are persuaded, however, in the Lord, as touching you, —that, what things we give in charge, Ye [both] are doing and will do; —
yuuyam asmaabhi ryad aadi"syadhve tat kurutha kari. syatha ceti vi"svaaso yu. smaanadhi prabhunaasmaaka. m jaayate|
5 But may, the Lord, guide your hearts into the love of God, and into the endurance of the Christ.
ii"svarasya premni khrii. s.tasya sahi. s.nutaayaa nca prabhu. h svaya. m yu. smaakam anta. hkara. naani vinayatu|
6 Howbeit, we charge you, brethren, —that, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, ye be withdrawing yourselves from every brother—who, in a disorderly way, doth walk, and not according to the instruction which ye received from us.
he bhraatara. h, asmatprabho ryii"sukhrii. s.tasya naamnaa vaya. m yu. smaan idam aadi"saama. h, asmatto yu. smaabhi ryaa "sik. salambhi taa. m vihaaya ka"scid bhraataa yadyavihitaacaara. m karoti tarhi yuuya. m tasmaat p. rthag bhavata|
7 For, ye yourselves, know, how needful it is to be imitating us, in that we were not disorderly among you,
yato vaya. m yu. smaabhi. h katham anukarttavyaastad yuuya. m svaya. m jaaniitha| yu. smaaka. m madhye vayam avihitaacaari. no naabhavaama,
8 Nor, as a free-gift, did eat, bread, from anyone, but, with toil and hardship, night and day, working, —that we might not burden any of you; —
vinaamuulya. m kasyaapyanna. m naabhu. mjmahi kintu ko. api yad asmaabhi rbhaaragrasto na bhavet tadartha. m "srame. na kle"sena ca divaani"sa. m kaaryyam akurmma|
9 Not because we have not authority, but that, ourselves, as an ensample, we might hold forth unto you, —to the end ye might he imitating us.
atraasmaakam adhikaaro naastiittha. m nahi kintvasmaakam anukara. naaya yu. smaan d. r.s. taanta. m dar"sayitum icchantastad akurmma|
10 For, even when we were with you, this, were we giving in charge unto you, —that, if any will not work, neither let him eat!
yato yena kaaryya. m na kriyate tenaahaaro. api na kriyataamiti vaya. m yu. smatsamiipa upasthitikaale. api yu. smaan aadi"saama|
11 We hear, in fact, of some who are walking among you in a disorderly way, at nothing, working, yet too busily working!
yu. smanmadhye. avihitaacaari. na. h ke. api janaa vidyante te ca kaaryyam akurvvanta aalasyam aacarantiityasmaabhi. h "sruuyate|
12 Now, such as these, we charge and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, —that, with quietness, working, their own bread, they be eating.
taad. r"saan lokaan asmataprabho ryii"sukhrii. s.tasya naamnaa vayam idam aadi"saama aaj naapayaama"sca, te "saantabhaavena kaaryya. m kurvvanta. h svakiiyamanna. m bhu njataa. m|
13 But, ye, brethren, be not weary in well-doing; —
apara. m he bhraatara. h, yuuya. m sadaacara. ne na klaamyata|
14 And, if anyone be not giving ear unto our word through means of this letter, on this one, set a mark—not to be mixing yourselves up with him, —that he may be reproved;
yadi ca ka"scidetatpatre likhitaam asmaakam aaj naa. m na g. rhlaati tarhi yuuya. m ta. m maanu. sa. m lak. sayata tasya sa. msarga. m tyajata ca tena sa trapi. syate|
15 And, not as an enemy, be esteeming him, but be admonishing him, as a brother.
kintu ta. m na "satru. m manyamaanaa bhraataramiva cetayata|
16 But may, the Lord of peace himself, give you peace, always, in every way. The Lord, be with you all.
"saantidaataa prabhu. h sarvvatra sarvvathaa yu. smabhya. m "saanti. m deyaat| prabhu ryu. smaaka. m sarvve. saa. m sa"ngii bhuuyaat|
17 The salutation of Paul—with my own hand, which is a sign in every letter: thus, I write.
namaskaara e. sa paulasya mama kare. na likhito. abhuut sarvvasmin patra etanmama cihnam etaad. r"sairak. sarai rmayaa likhyate|
18 The favour of our Lord Jesus Christ, be with you all.
asmaaka. m prabho ryii"sukhrii. s.tasyaanugraha. h sarvve. su yu. smaasu bhuuyaat| aamen|
