2 Peter 1
1 Simon Peter, servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, unto them who have obtained, equally precious, faith, with us, in the righteousness of our God, and Saviour Jesus Christ,
เย ชนา อสฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธมฺ อสฺตทีศฺวเร ตฺราตริ ยีศุขฺรีษฺเฏ จ ปุณฺยสมฺพลิตวิศฺวาสธนสฺย สมานำศิตฺวํ ปฺราปฺตาสฺตานฺ ปฺรติ ยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ทาส: เปฺรริตศฺจ ศิโมนฺ ปิตร: ปตฺรํ ลิขติฯ
2 Favour unto you, and peace, be multiplied, in the personal knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; —
อีศฺวรสฺยาสฺมากํ ปฺรโภ รฺยีโศศฺจ ตตฺวชฺญาเนน ยุษฺมาสฺวนุคฺรหศานฺโตฺย รฺพาหุลฺยํ วรฺตฺตตำฯ
3 As, all things, suited for life and godliness his divine power, unto us, hath given, through the personal knowledge of him that hath called us through glory and excellence, —
ชีวนารฺถมฺ อีศฺวรภกฺตฺยรฺถญฺจ ยทฺยทฺ อาวศฺยกํ ตตฺ สรฺวฺวํ เคารวสทฺคุณาภฺยามฺ อสฺมทาหฺวานการิณสฺตตฺตฺวชฺญานทฺวารา ตเสฺยศฺวรียศกฺติรสฺมภฺยํ ทตฺตวตีฯ
4 Through which, his precious, and very great, promises, have, unto us, been given, in order that, through these, ye might become sharers in a divine nature—escaping the corruption that is in the world by coveting.
ตตฺสรฺเวฺวณ จาสฺมภฺยํ ตาทฺฤศา พหุมูลฺยา มหาปฺรติชฺญา ทตฺตา ยาภิ รฺยูยํ สํสารวฺยาปฺตาตฺ กุตฺสิตาภิลาษมูลาตฺ สรฺวฺวนาศาทฺ รกฺษำ ปฺราเปฺยศฺวรียสฺวภาวสฺยำศิโน ภวิตุํ ศกฺนุถฯ
5 And, for this very reason also—adding, on your part, all diligence, supply, in your faith, excellence, and, in your excellence, knowledge,
ตโต เหโต รฺยูยํ สมฺปูรฺณํ ยตฺนํ วิธาย วิศฺวาเส เสาชนฺยํ เสาชเนฺย ชฺญานํ
6 And, in your knowledge, self-control, and, in your self-control, endurance, and, in your endurance, godliness,
ชฺญาน อายเตนฺทฺริยตามฺ อายเตนฺทฺริยตายำ ไธรฺยฺยํ ไธรฺยฺย อีศฺวรภกฺติมฺ
7 And, in your godliness, brotherly affection, and, in your brotherly affection, love.
อีศฺวรภกฺเตา ภฺราตฺฤเสฺนเห จ เปฺรม ยุงฺกฺตฯ
8 These things, unto you, belonging and abounding, neither idle nor unfruitful, constitute you, regarding the personal knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ;
เอตานิ ยทิ ยุษฺมาสุ วิทฺยนฺเต วรฺทฺธนฺเต จ ตรฺหฺยสฺมตฺปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ตตฺตฺวชฺญาเน ยุษฺมานฺ อลสานฺ นิษฺผลำศฺจ น สฺถาปยิษฺยนฺติฯ
9 For, he to whom these things are not present, is, blind, seeing only what is near, having come, to forget, his purification from his old sins.
กินฺเตฺวตานิ ยสฺย น วิทฺยนฺเต โส 'โนฺธ มุทฺริตโลจน: สฺวกียปูรฺวฺวปาปานำ มารฺชฺชนสฺย วิสฺมฺฤตึ คตศฺจฯ
10 Wherefore, all the more, brethren, give diligence to be making, firm, your calling and election; for, these things, doing, in nowise shall ye stumble at any time,
ตสฺมาทฺ เห ภฺราตร: , ยูยํ สฺวกียาหฺวานวรณโย รฺทฺฤฒกรเณ พหุ ยตธฺวํ, ตตฺ กฺฤตฺวา กทาจ น สฺขลิษฺยถฯ
11 For, thus, shall richly be further supplied unto you—the entrance into the age-abiding kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
ยโต 'เนน ปฺรกาเรณาสฺมากํ ปฺรโภสฺตฺราตฺฤ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺยานนฺตราชฺยสฺย ปฺรเวเศน ยูยํ สุกเลน โยชยิษฺยเธฺวฯ (aiōnios g166)
12 Wherefore, I shall be certain to be, always, putting you in remembrance concerning these things, —although, indeed, ye know them, and have become confirmed in the present truth;
ยทฺยปิ ยูยมฺ เอตตฺ สรฺวฺวํ ชานีถ วรฺตฺตมาเน สตฺยมเต สุสฺถิรา ภวถ จ ตถาปิ ยุษฺมานฺ สรฺวฺวทา ตตฺ สฺมารยิตุมฺ อหมฺ อยตฺนวานฺ น ภวิษฺยามิฯ
13 Right, nevertheless, I account it—as long as I am in this tent, to be stirring you up by putting you in remembrance,
ยาวทฺ เอตสฺมินฺ ทูเษฺย ติษฺฐามิ ตาวทฺ ยุษฺมานฺ สฺมารยนฺ ปฺรโพธยิตุํ วิหิตํ มเนฺยฯ
14 Knowing that, speedy, is the putting off of my tent—even as, our Lord Jesus Christ also, made clear to me:
ยโต 'สฺมากํ ปฺรภุ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺโฏ มำ ยตฺ ชฺญาปิตวานฺ ตทนุสาราทฺ ทูษฺยเมตตฺ มยา ศีฆฺรํ ตฺยกฺตวฺยมฺ อิติ ชานามิฯ
15 Yea, I will give diligence also, that, at every time, ye may be able, after my own departure, to be keeping up the remembrance of, these very things.
มม ปรโลกคมนาตฺ ปรมปิ ยูยํ ยเทตานิ สฺมรฺตฺตุํ ศกฺษฺยถ ตสฺมินฺ สรฺวฺวถา ยติเษฺยฯ
16 For, not as having followed, cleverly devised stories, made we known unto you the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, but as having been made, spectators, of his majesty.
ยโต 'สฺมากํ ปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ปรากฺรมํ ปุนราคมนญฺจ ยุษฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยนฺโต วยํ กลฺปิตานฺยุปาขฺยานานฺยนฺวคจฺฉาเมติ นหิ กินฺตุ ตสฺย มหิมฺน: ปฺรตฺยกฺษสากฺษิโณ ภูตฺวา ภาษิตวนฺต: ฯ
17 For, when he received from God the Father honour and glory, a voice, being borne to him such as this, by the magnificent glory—My Son, the beloved, is, this, in whom, I, delight,
ยต: ส ปิตุรีศฺวราทฺ เคารวํ ปฺรศํสาญฺจ ปฺราปฺตวานฺ วิเศษโต มหิมยุกฺตเตโชมธฺยาทฺ เอตาทฺฤศี วาณี ตํ ปฺรติ นิรฺคตวตี, ยถา, เอษ มม ปฺริยปุตฺร เอตสฺมินฺ มม ปรมสนฺโตษ: ฯ
18 Even this voice, we, heard, when, out of heaven, it was borne, we being, with him, in the holy mount.
สฺวรฺคาตฺ นิรฺคเตยํ วาณี ปวิตฺรปรฺวฺวเต เตน สารฺทฺธํ วิทฺยมาไนรสฺมาภิรศฺราวิฯ
19 And we have, more firm, the prophetic word; —whereunto ye are doing, well, to take heed, —as unto a lamp shining in a dusky place, —until, day, shall dawn, and, a day-star, shall arise in your hearts: —
อปรมฺ อสฺมตฺสมีเป ทฺฤฒตรํ ภวิษฺยทฺวากฺยํ วิทฺยเต ยูยญฺจ ยทิ ทินารมฺภํ ยุษฺมนฺมน: สุ ปฺรภาตียนกฺษตฺรโสฺยทยญฺจ ยาวตฺ ติมิรมเย สฺถาเน ชฺวลนฺตํ ปฺรทีปมิว ตทฺ วากฺยํ สมฺมนฺยเธฺว ตรฺหิ ภทฺรํ กริษฺยถฯ
20 Of this, first, taking note—that, no prophecy of scripture, becometh, self-solving;
ศาสฺตฺรียํ กิมปิ ภวิษฺยทฺวากฺยํ มนุษฺยสฺย สฺวกียภาวโพธกํ นหิ, เอตทฺ ยุษฺมาภิ: สมฺยกฺ ชฺญายตำฯ
21 For not, by will of man, was prophecy brought in, at any time, but, as, by Holy Spirit, they were borne along, spake, men, from God.
ยโต ภวิษฺยทฺวากฺยํ ปุรา มานุษาณามฺ อิจฺฉาโต โนตฺปนฺนํ กินฺตฺวีศฺวรสฺย ปวิตฺรโลกา: ปวิเตฺรณาตฺมนา ปฺรวรฺตฺติตา: สนฺโต วากฺยมฺ อภาษนฺตฯ
