< 2 Peter 2 >

1 But there arose false-prophets also among the people, as, among you also, there shall be, false-teachers, —men who will stealthily bring in destructive parties, even the Master that bought them, denying, bringing upon themselves speedy destruction;
To jonabi mag miriambo bende ne nitie e kind oganda Nyasaye e ndalo machon, mana kaka jopuonj mag miriambo bende biro bedo e dieru. Gibiro kelonu puonj mag miriambo lingʼ-lingʼ mondo giketh ji, ka gikwedo nyaka Ruoth Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto mane owarogi kendo mano nomi gitiekre kendgi piyo piyo nono!
2 And, many, will follow out their wanton ways, —by reason of whom, the way of truth, will be defamed,
Ji mathoth noluw kit ngimagi mag anjawo makelo wichkuot, kendo ginimi ji nocha yo mar adiera.
3 And, in greed, with forged words, will they, of you, make merchandise: for whom, the sentence from of old, is not idle, and, their destruction, doth not slumber.
Nikech bedo gi gombo mar yudo gik malangʼ, jopuonj mag miriambogo noywau gi sigendini magiseloso mag miriambo malombo ji; mondo gimau mwandu. To kum margi mane oiknegi chakre chon ritogi, kendo kethruokgi ok nodeki ma ok ochoponegi.
4 For—if, God, spared not, messengers, when they sinned, but, to pits of gloom, consigning them, in the lowest hades, delivered them up to be kept, unto judgment, — (Tartaroō g5020)
To ka Nyasaye ne ok oweyo ma ok okumo kata mana malaike mane oketho, to ne owitogi e gehena ma en mach ma ok tho, koketogi e mudho mandiwa ka girito kumgi; (Tartaroō g5020)
5 And, an ancient world, spared not, but, with seven others, preserved, Noah, a proclaimer, of righteousness, a flood, upon a world of ungodly persons, letting loose, —
to kane ok oweyo ma ok okumo koda ka piny machon, e kinde mane omiyo pi oyweyo joma ochayo Nyasaye, to Nowa mane yalo mondo ji otim timbe makare kaachiel gi ji abiriyo mamoko, to ne oreso;
6 And, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing to ashes, he condemned, an example of such as should be ungodly, having set forth, —
to ka Nyasaye nongʼado bura ni Sodom gi Gomora mine owangʼo joma odakie miergo molokore buru, kendo mi oketogi ranyisi mar gima biro timore ne joma ochayo Nyasaye;
7 And, righteous Lot, when getting worn out by the behaviour of them who were impious in wantonness, he rescued—
kendo ka Nyasaye noreso Lut ngʼat makare, mane chunye chandore malit nikech ngima mochido mar joma ne ochayo chik
8 For, in seeing and hearing, since he dwelt right among them, as a righteous man, he used to torment his soul, day by day, with their lawless deeds—
(nikech ne en ngʼat makare, chunye ne chande malit kane oneno timbe maricho ma tiengʼ mane odakgo timo pile ka pile);
9 [Then] the Lord knoweth how to rescue, the godly out of trial; but to keep, the unrighteous unto a day of judgment to be punished; —
to ka en kamano, to kare Ruoth ongʼeyo kaka dores joma omiye luor kuom tembe ma giyudo kendo ongʼeyo kaka okano joma richo ni kum chiengʼ Bura, ka gidhi nyime kod kumgi.
10 Most of all, however, them who go their way, after the flesh, with a coveting of defilement, and who despise, lordship, —daring! willful! before dignitaries, they tremble not, defaming,
Mani en adiera kuom jogo machopo dwaro mochido mag ringregi ka gichayo loch. Jopuonj mag miriambogi wengegi tek kendo opongʼ gi achaya, bende ok giluoro kata mana wuoyo marach kuom joma nigi joloch mag polo,
11 where, messengers, though, greater in might and power, are not bringing against them [before the Lord] a defamatory accusation, —
ma kata mana malaike man-gi teko gi duongʼ moloyogi ok nyal wuoyo marach kuom chwechgo e nyim Ruoth Nyasaye.
12 These, however, as unreasoning creatures that have been bred as being, by nature, for capture and destruction, in the things they are ignorant of, uttering defamation, in their spoiling, shall also be made a spoil, —
To jogi wuoyo marach ka giyanyo nyaka gik ma ok giwinj tiendgi. Gichalo le maonge rieko, mager, maonge paro, mane ochwe mana mondo omaki oyangʼ. Jogi biro lal nono mana ka le mag bungu.
13 Doing wrong themselves, for a reward of wrong, accounting, a delight, their day-time delicacy, spots and blemishes, indulging in delicacies with their stratagems, as they carouse together with you,
Giniyud pok mar richo, kar richo magisetimo. Giwinjo maber ka gichopo gombo duto mag ringregi ratiro e nyim ji. Ka gidwanyore kendo gichopo gombogi maricho e chokruogeu mag sawo to gichalo mbelni kod gik motop.
14 Having, eyes, full of an adulteress, and that cannot rest from sin, enticing unstable souls, having, a heart trained in greed, —children of a curse, —
Wengegi rango mon mana gigombo mar terruok kendo richo mitnegi ma ok giwe. Giywayo mon ma yiegi yomyom mondo gitimgo richo kendo gipongʼ gi wuoro. Jogi gin joma okwongʼ adier!
15 Forsaking a straight path, they have gone astray, following out the way of Balaam [son] of Beor, who loved, a reward of wrong,
Gisebaro giweyo yo makare mi girwenyo ka giluwo yor Balaam wuod Beor, mane ohero misach richo.
16 But had, a reproof, of his own transgression, a dumb beast of burden, in man’s voice, finding utterance, forbade the prophet’s madness.
To kanyna ne okwere kuom timne marachno, kata obedo ni en le ma ok wuo kamano, to ne owuoyo gi dwond dhano mi ogengʼo neko janabino.
17 These, are fountains without water, and mists, by a tempest, driven along, —for whom, the gloom of darkness, hath been reserved;
Jogi gin sokni maonge pi kendo gichalo gi ongʼwengʼo ma yamo tero. Gima okan nigi mudho mandiwa molil ti. (questioned)
18 For, great swelling words of vanity, uttering, they entice with carnal covetings—in wanton ways—them who are, well-nigh, escaping from the men who, in error, have their behaviour;
Nikech giwacho weche manono mag sunga mopongʼ gi gombo maricho mag kit dhano mohero richo, mondo gimi joma tinde eka tony aa kuom joma olal tim richo.
19 Promising, freedom to them, they themselves, being all the while, slaves of corruption, —for, by whom one hath been defeated, by the same, hath he become enslaved, —
Gisingore ni jogo ni gibiro miyogi thuolo to gin giwegi gin wasumbini mag richo makelo kethruok nikech dhano en misumba gimoro amora moloyo ngimane.
20 For, if, having escaped from the defilements of the world by a personal knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but, by the same having again become entangled, they are defeated, the, last, state hath become, for them, worse than, the first;
Ka ji osetony oweyo kethruok mar piny, nikech ngʼeyo Ruodhwa kendo Jawarwa Yesu Kristo, eka bangʼe gichako giduodore e kethruok mi kethruok omakogi kendo, to ngimagi machien bedo marach moloyo ngimagi mokwongo.
21 For, better, had it been for them—not to have obtained a personal knowledge of the way of righteousness, than, having obtained such knowledge, to turn back out of the holy commandment delivered unto them.
Dine obedo nigi maber moloyo ka dine ok gingʼeyo yor ngima makare, moloyo ngʼeyogo eka bangʼe gidok chien giweyo chik mane omigi.
22 There hath befallen them the thing [spoken of] in the true proverb—A dog, turning back unto his own vomit, and—A sow, as soon as washed, unto wallowing in mire.
Gima osetimorenigi chopo adiera mar ngero mawacho niya, “Guok dok e ngʼokne mosengʼogo” kendo niya, “Anguro moseluoki odok ngʼielore e chwodho.”
