2 John 1
1 The Elder, unto an elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not, I, alone, but all those also who understand the truth, —
Der Presbyter an die erwählte Herrin und an ihre Kinder, die ich in der Wahrheit liebe, und nicht nur ich allein, sondern alle, die die Wahrheit erkannt haben,
2 For the sake of the truth that abideth in us, and, with us, shall be unto times age-abiding, (aiōn g165)
gerade um der Wahrheit willen, die in uns bleibt und ewig bei uns bleiben wird. (aiōn g165)
3 Favour, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Gnade, Erbarmen und Friede möge uns verbleiben von Gott, dem Vater, und von dem Sohne des Vaters, Jesus Christus, in Wahrheit und Liebe.
4 I rejoiced exceedingly, in that I had found, from among thy children, such as were walking in truth, even as, a commandment, we received from the Father.
Ich habe mich gar sehr gefreut, daß ich unter deinen Kindern solche gefunden habe, die in der Wahrheit wandeln, wie es der Vater uns geboten hat.
5 And, now, I request thee, lady, not as writing, a new commandment, unto thee, but one which we were holding from the beginning—That we should be loving one another.
Nun bitte ich dich, Herrin - nicht als wollte ich dir ein neues Gebot schreiben; es ist dasselbe, das wir von Anfang gehabt haben: Laßt uns einander lieben!
6 And, this, is love, that we should be walking according to his commandments: This, is, the commandment, even as ye heard from the beginning, that, therein, ye should be walking.
Das aber ist die Liebe, daß wir nach seinen Geboten wandeln. Dies ist das Gebot, das ihr von Anfang an gehört habt, damit ihr darin wandelt.
7 Because, many deceivers, have gone out into the world, they who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in flesh: This, is the deceiver and the antichrist.
Denn viele Verführer sind in die Welt gezogen, die leugnen, Jesus Christus sei im Fleisch erschienen. Nur ein Verführer redet so, der Antichrist.
8 Be taking heed unto yourselves, lest ye lose what things we earned, —but, a full reward, ye may duly receive.
Sehet euch doch vor, auf daß ihr nicht verliert, was ihr erarbeitet habt, sondern damit ihr vollen Lohn erhaltet.
9 Every one that taketh a lead, and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not, God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same, hath, both the Father and the Son.
Denn jeder, der weitergeht und nicht bei der Lehre Christi bleibt, hat Gott nicht. Nur wer bei der Lehre bleibt, hat den Vater samt dem Sohne.
10 If anyone cometh unto you and, this teaching, doth not bring, be not receiving him home, and, Joy to thee! do not say;
Wenn einer zu euch kommt, ohne diese Lehre mitzubringen, den nehmt nicht in euer Haus auf und bietet ihm auch nicht den Gruß.
11 For, he that biddeth him rejoice, hath fellowship with his wicked works.
Denn wer ihn auch nur grüßt, nimmt teil an seinen schlechten Werken.
12 Though I had many things, unto you, to write, I was not minded [to say them] with paper and ink; but I hope to come unto you, and, mouth to mouth, to talk, —that your joy may be made full.
Noch vieles hätte ich euch zu schreiben, doch ich wollte es nicht mit Papier und Tinte tun. Ich hoffe ja, zu euch zu kommen und dann von Mund zu Mund zu reden, damit wir volle Freude hätten.
13 The children of thy chosen sister salute thee.
Die Kinder deiner auserwählten Schwester grüßen dich.
