< 2 John 1 >
1 The Elder, unto an elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not, I, alone, but all those also who understand the truth, —
Mama boꞌi! Susura ia mia au, Yohanis, mana nalalao nggareiꞌ. Au suraꞌ susura ia fee mama, fo Lamatualain pili nala dadꞌi atahorin ena, ma fee mama ana nara boe. Au sue-lai basa hei fo rala mana nenepaꞌaꞌ no dala ndoo-tetuꞌ ra. Basa atahori laen mana rahine dala ndoo-tetuꞌ ra, sue-lai nggi boe.
2 For the sake of the truth that abideth in us, and, with us, shall be unto times age-abiding, (aiōn )
3 Favour, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
Au hule-oꞌe fo Lamatualain, no Anan, Yesus Kristus, ratudꞌu rala malole nara ma rala susue nara neu nggita, fo ata bisa tasodꞌa no mole-dame, esa sue-lai esa, ma nenepaꞌa takandoo to dala ndoo-tetuꞌ ra.
4 I rejoiced exceedingly, in that I had found, from among thy children, such as were walking in truth, even as, a commandment, we received from the Father.
Au umuhoꞌo ala seli, leleꞌ undaa o mama ana nara ruma, ma ita masodꞌa nara malolole, tungga dala masodꞌa ndoo-tetuꞌ, onaꞌ Amaꞌ Lamatualain fee parendan neu nggita ena.
5 And, now, I request thee, lady, not as writing, a new commandment, unto thee, but one which we were holding from the beginning—That we should be loving one another.
Mama boꞌi! Leleꞌ ia au oꞌe fo basa nggita tasodꞌa no susue-lalaiꞌ, au oꞌoꞌe ngga naa, nda parenda feuꞌ sa, te au feeꞌ a nesenedꞌaꞌ sia parendaꞌ fo hita toꞌu memaꞌ mia fefeun.
6 And, this, is love, that we should be walking according to his commandments: This, is, the commandment, even as ye heard from the beginning, that, therein, ye should be walking.
Hita bisa tatudꞌu susue-lalaiꞌ tara, mete ma ata tao tungga Lamatualain parenda nara. Eniꞌ a mia lele uluꞌ a, Ana parenda nggita fo tasodꞌa esa sue-lai esa. Ia nda dꞌala feuꞌ sa, te hei rena parendaꞌ ia eniꞌ lele uluꞌ a.
7 Because, many deceivers, have gone out into the world, they who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in flesh: This, is the deceiver and the antichrist.
Mana peko-lelekoꞌ hetar lao ndule raefafoꞌ ia ena. Ara ranori rae, Yesus Kristus nema sia raefafoꞌ ia, te Eni nda atahori tetebꞌes sa. Sira o, mana peko-lelekoꞌ mana labꞌan Kristus, ma nda nau simbo rae, Yesus naa, naeni Kristus sa, fo Lamatualain pili nala memaꞌ eniꞌ a lele uluꞌ a.
8 Be taking heed unto yourselves, lest ye lose what things we earned, —but, a full reward, ye may duly receive.
Minea matalolole, fo bebꞌengge tara afi mopo hendi se. Dadꞌi hei musi manggate tao ues mikindoo, fo ama bisa hambu basa papala-babꞌanggin fo Lamatuaꞌ helu-fuliꞌ nae fee nggi sia sorga.
9 Every one that taketh a lead, and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not, God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same, hath, both the Father and the Son.
10 If anyone cometh unto you and, this teaching, doth not bring, be not receiving him home, and, Joy to thee! do not say;
11 For, he that biddeth him rejoice, hath fellowship with his wicked works.
12 Though I had many things, unto you, to write, I was not minded [to say them] with paper and ink; but I hope to come unto you, and, mouth to mouth, to talk, —that your joy may be made full.
13 The children of thy chosen sister salute thee.
Lamatualain pili nala mama aꞌa inan boe. Baꞌu a naa ena. Sodꞌa-moleꞌ mia au, Yohanis.
