2 Corinthians 8
1 Moreover we make known unto you, brethren, the favour of God which hath been given in the assemblies of Macedonia, —
เห ภฺราตร: , มากิทนิยาเทศสฺถาสุ สมิติษุ ปฺรกาศิโต ย อีศฺวรสฺยานุคฺรหสฺตมหํ ยุษฺมานฺ ชฺญาปยามิฯ
2 That, in a great testing of tribulation, the superabounding of their joy and their deep destitution, superabounded unto the riches of their liberality;
วสฺตุโต พหุเกฺลศปรีกฺษาสมเย เตษำ มหานนฺโท'ตีวทีนตา จ วทานฺยตายา: ปฺรจุรผลมฺ อผลยตำฯ
3 That, according to power, I bear witness, and beyond power, of their own accord, [they acted], —
เต เสฺวจฺฉยา ยถาศกฺติ กิญฺจาติศกฺติ ทาน อุทฺยุกฺตา อภวนฺ อิติ มยา ปฺรมาณีกฺริยเตฯ
4 With much exhortation, entreating of us the favour and the fellowship of the ministry which was for the saints; —
วยญฺจ ยตฺ ปวิตฺรโลเกภฺยเสฺตษำ ทานมฺ อุปการารฺถกมฺ อํศนญฺจ คฺฤหฺลามสฺตทฺ พหุนุนเยนาสฺมานฺ ปฺรารฺถิตวนฺต: ฯ
5 And, not merely as we hoped, but, themselves, gave they, first, unto the Lord and unto us through God’s will,
วยํ ยาทฺฤกฺ ปฺรไตฺย×กฺษามหิ ตาทฺฤคฺ อกฺฤตฺวา เต'เคฺร ปฺรภเว ตต: ปรมฺ อีศฺวรเสฺยจฺฉยาสฺมภฺยมปิ สฺวานฺ นฺยเวทยนฺฯ
6 To the end we should exhort Titus, in order that, according as he before made a beginning, so, he should also complete unto you this favour also.
อโต เหโตสฺตฺวํ ยถารพฺธวานฺ ตไถว กรินฺถินำ มเธฺย'ปิ ตทฺ ทานคฺรหณํ สาธเยติ ยุษฺมานฺ อธิ วยํ ตีตํ ปฺรารฺถยามหิฯ
7 But, just as, in everything, ye superabound, —in faith, and discourse, and knowledge, and all earnestness, and in the love among you which proceedeth from us, in order that, in this favour also, ye would superabound.
อโต วิศฺวาโส วากฺปฏุตา ชฺญานํ สรฺโวฺวตฺสาโห 'สฺมาสุ เปฺรม ไจไต รฺคุไณ รฺยูยํ ยถาปรานฺ อติเศเธฺว ตไถไวเตน คุเณนาปฺยติเศธฺวํฯ
8 Not by way of injunction, do I speak, but through, others’, earnestness, and, the genuineness of your own love, putting to the test.
เอตทฺ อหมฺ อาชฺญยา กถยามีติ นหิ กินฺตฺวเนฺยษามฺ อุตฺสาหการณาทฺ ยุษฺมากมปิ เปฺรมฺน: สารลฺยํ ปรีกฺษิตุมิจฺฉตา มไยตตฺ กถฺยเตฯ
9 For ye are taking knowledge of the favour of our Lord Jesus [Christ], —how that, for your sakes, he became destitute—although he was, rich, in order that, ye, by his destitution, might be enriched.
ยูยญฺจาสฺมตฺปฺรโภ รฺยีศุขฺรีษฺฏสฺยานุคฺรหํ ชานีถ ยตสฺตสฺย นิรฺธนเตฺวน ยูยํ ยทฺ ธนิโน ภวถ ตทรฺถํ ส ธนี สนฺนปิ ยุษฺมตฺกฺฤเต นิรฺธโน'ภวตฺฯ
10 And, a judgment, herein, do I give, —for, this, unto you, is profitable, —who, indeed, not only of the doing, but of the desiring, made for yourselves a beginning a year ago; —
เอตสฺมินฺ อหํ ยุษฺมานฺ สฺววิจารํ ชฺญาปยามิฯ คตํ สํวตฺสรมฺ อารภฺย ยูยํ เกวลํ กรฺมฺม กรฺตฺตํ ตนฺนหิ กินฺตฺวิจฺฉุกตำ ปฺรกาศยิตุมปฺยุปากฺราภฺยธฺวํ ตโต เหโต รฺยุษฺมตฺกฺฤเต มม มนฺตฺรณา ภทฺราฯ
11 Howbeit, now, the doing also, complete ye, in order that, even according to the forwardness of the desiring, so, may be the completing—out of what ye have.
อโต 'ธุนา ตตฺกรฺมฺมสาธนํ ยุษฺมาภิ: กฺริยตำ เตน ยทฺวทฺ อิจฺฉุกตายามฺ อุตฺสาหสฺตทฺวทฺ เอไกกสฺย สมฺปทนุสาเรณ กรฺมฺมสาธนมฺ อปิ ชนิษฺยเตฯ
12 For, if the forwardness is set forth, according to what one may have, he is well approved, not according to what one hath not.
ยสฺมินฺ อิจฺฉุกตา วิทฺยเต เตน ยนฺน ธารฺยฺยเต ตสฺมาตฺ โส'นุคฺฤหฺยต อิติ นหิ กินฺตุ ยทฺ ธารฺยฺยเต ตสฺมาเทวฯ
13 For, not that unto others should be relief, and unto you distress [do I speak], but, by equality, in the present season, your surplus for their deficiency, —
ยต อิตเรษำ วิราเมณ ยุษฺมากญฺจ เกฺลเศน ภวิตวฺยํ ตนฺนหิ กินฺตุ สมตไยวฯ
14 In order that their surplus may come to be for your deficiency: that there may come about an equality: —
วรฺตฺตมานสมเย ยุษฺมากํ ธนาธิเกฺยน เตษำ ธนนฺยูนตา ปูรยิตวฺยา ตสฺมาตฺ เตษามปฺยาธิเกฺยน ยุษฺมากํ นฺยูนตา ปูรยิษฺยเต เตน สมตา ชนิษฺยเตฯ
15 Even as it is written—He that [gathered] the much, had not more than enough, and, he that [gathered] the little, had not less,
ตเทว ศาสฺเตฺร'ปิ ลิขิตมฺ อาเสฺต ยถา, เยนาธิกํ สํคฺฤหีตํ ตสฺยาธิกํ นาภวตฺ เยน จาลฺปํ สํคฺฤหีตํ ตสฺยาลฺปํ นาภวตฺฯ
16 Thanks, however, unto God!—who is putting the same earnestness in your behalf in the heart of Titus,
ยุษฺมากํ หิตาย ตีตสฺย มนสิ ย อีศฺวร อิมมฺ อุโทฺยคํ ชนิตวานฺ ส ธโนฺย ภวตุฯ
17 In that, though, indeed, the exhortation, he welcomed; yet already being, greatly in earnest, of his own accord, hath he gone forth unto you.
ตีโต'สฺมากํ ปฺรารฺถนำ คฺฤหีตวานฺ กิญฺจ สฺวยมฺ อุทฺยุกฺต: สนฺ เสฺวจฺฉยา ยุษฺมตฺสมีปํ คตวานฺฯ
18 Howbeit, we also set forward, with him, the brother, whose praise in the Glad Tidings, [hath gone] through all the assemblies: —
เตน สห โย'ปร เอโก ภฺราตาสฺมาภิ: เปฺรษิต: สุสํวาทาตฺ ตสฺย สุขฺยาตฺยา สรฺวฺวา: สมิตโย วฺยาปฺตา: ฯ
19 Not only so, however, but he hath also been appointed by the assemblies, as a fellow-traveler with us in this favour, which is being ministered by us with a view to the Lord’s glory and our earnest desire: —
ปฺรโภ เรฺคารวาย ยุษฺมากมฺ อิจฺฉุกตาไย จ ส สมิติภิเรตไสฺย ทานเสวาไย อสฺมากํ สงฺคิเตฺว นฺยโยชฺยตฯ
20 Arranging this—lest anyone, upon us, should cast blame, in this munificence which is being ministered by us;
ยโต ยา มโหปายนเสวาสฺมาภิ รฺวิธียเต ตามธิ วยํ ยตฺ เกนาปิ น นินฺทฺยามเห ตทรฺถํ ยตามเหฯ
21 For we provide things honourable, not only before [the] Lord, but also before men.
ยต: เกวลํ ปฺรโภ: สากฺษาตฺ ตนฺนหิ กินฺตุ มานวานามปิ สากฺษาตฺ สทาจารํ กรฺตฺตุมฺ อาโลจามเหฯ
22 Moreover we have set forward, with them, our brother whom we have proved, in many things, ofttimes, earnest, —but, now, much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence [which he hath] towards you.
ตาภฺยำ สหาปร เอโก โย ภฺราตาสฺมาภิ: เปฺรษิต: โส'สฺมาภิ รฺพหุวิษเยษุ พหวารานฺ ปรีกฺษิต อุโทฺยคีว ปฺรกาศิตศฺจ กินฺตฺวธุนา ยุษฺมาสุ ทฺฤฒวิศฺวาสาตฺ ตโสฺยตฺสาโห พหุ ววฺฤเธฯ
23 Whether as regardeth Titus, he is a partner of mine, and, towards you, a fellow-worker. or our brethren, apostles of assemblies, and Christ’s glory.
ยทิ กศฺจิตฺ ตีตสฺย ตตฺตฺวํ ชิชฺญาสเต ตรฺหิ ส มม สหภาคี ยุษฺมนฺมเธฺย สหการี จ, อปรโย รฺภฺราโตฺรสฺตตฺตฺวํ วา ยทิ ชิชฺญาสเต ตรฺหิ เตา สมิตีนำ ทูเตา ขฺรีษฺฏสฺย ปฺรติพิมฺเพา เจติ เตน ชฺญายตำฯ
24 The proof of your love, therefore, and of our boasting in your behalf, shew ye, unto them, in the face of the assemblies.
อโต เหโต: สมิตีนำ สมกฺษํ ยุษฺมตฺเปฺรมฺโน'สฺมากํ ศฺลาฆายาศฺจ ปฺรามาณฺยํ ตานฺ ปฺรติ ยุษฺมาภิ: ปฺรกาศยิตวฺยํฯ
