< 2 Corinthians 6 >
1 As co-workers, however, we also beseech, that, not in vain, the favour of God, ye welcome;
Epi nan travay ansanm avèk Li menm, nou osi ankouraje ou pou nou pa resevwa lagras Bondye a anven.
2 For he saith—In an approved season, have I hearkened unto thee, and, in a day of salvation, have succoured thee; —Lo! now, a well-approved season, Lo! now, a day of salvation:
Paske Li di: “Nan tan akseptab la Mwen te koute nou, e nan jou sali a Mwen te ede nou”. Gade byen, koulye a se “tan akseptab la”. Gade byen, koulye a se “jou sali a”.
3 Giving, no single, occasion of stumbling, in anything, that the ministry be not blamed;
Konsa, Nou p ap bay kòz pou ofans nan anyen, pou ministè a pa vin pèdi valè li.
4 But, in everything, commending ourselves as God’s ministers, —in much endurance, in tribulations, in necessities, in straits,
Men nan tout bagay pou n ap rekòmande tèt nou kòm sèvitè a Bondye: nananpil andirans, nan afliksyon, difikilte, ak detrès
5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in toilings, in watchings, in fastings,
nan pran kou, nan pran prizon, nan twoub, nan travay di, nan san dòmi nan grangou
6 in sanctity, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in graciousness, in Holy Spirit,
nan lavi dwat, nan konesans, nan pasyans, nan bonte, nan Lespri Sen an, nan vrè lanmou an
7 in love unfeigned, in discourse of truth, in power of God; through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and left,
nan pawòl verite a, nan pwisans Bondye a; ak zam ladwati pou men dwat ak men goch yo,
8 through glory and dishonour, through bad report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true,
pa laglwa ak wont, pa move rapò ak bon rapò, gade kòm mantè yo, malgre sa nan verite a;
9 as unknown, and yet well-known, as dying, and lo! we live, as disciplined, and yet not put to death,
kòm enkoni malgre byen koni, kòm moun k ap mouri men gade, nou byen vivan; kon sila ke y ap pini, men poko mete a lanmò,
10 as grieving, yet, ever, rejoicing, as destitute, yet making, many, rich, as holding, nothing, and yet firmly holding, all things.
kòm plen ak tristès men toujou ap rejwi, kòm pòv, men ap fè anpil moun rich, kòm yon moun ki pa genyen anyen men ki posede tout bagay.
11 Our mouth, is opened unto you, O Corinthians! our heart, hath become enlarged:
Bouch nou pale avèk libète ak nou menm, o Korentyen yo. Kè nou ouvri byen laj.
12 Ye are not straitened in us, but are straitened in your hearts’ affections;
Nou pa anpeche nou, men ou anpeche nan pwòp afeksyon pa w.
13 Howbeit, by way of the like recompense—as, unto children, I speak, be enlarged, even, ye.
Koulye a, nan yon echanj konsa—-m ap pale kòmsi se ak timoun mwen yo—-ouvri kè nou laj pou nou tou.
14 Be not getting diversely yoked with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness?
Pa mare ansanm avèk enkwayan yo; paske ki relasyon ki gen antre ladwati ak inikite, oswa ki rapò ki genyen antre limyè ak tenèb?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Beliar? Or what part hath a believer with an unbeliever?
Oubyen ki amitye Kris gen avèk Bélial, oswa kisa yon kwayan gen an komen avèk yon enkwayan?
16 And what agreement hath a shrine of God with idols? For, we, are [the] shrine of a God, that liveth: —even as God hath said—will dwell in them, and walk, and will be their God, and, they, shall be my people.
Oswa, ki akò tanp Bondye a gen avèk zidòl yo? Paske nou se tanp a Bondye vivan an. Jan Bondye te di a: “Mwen va viv nan yo e mache pami yo. Mwen va Bondye pa yo e yo va pèp Mwen.”
17 Wherefore come ye forth out of their midst, and be separated, —saith [the] Lord, —and, one impure, do not touch; and, I, will give you welcome,
Konsa, “‘Soti nan mitan yo, e separe de yo’, di Senyè a. ‘Pa touche sa ki enpi. Mwen va akeyi nou.
18 And will become your Father, and, ye, shall become my sons and daughters, saith [the] Lord Almighty.
Mwen va yon Papa pou nou, e nou va fis ak fi pou Mwen,’ di Senyè Tou Pwisan an.”
