2 Corinthians 5
1 For we know that—if, our earthly tent-dwelling, should be taken down, we have, a building of God, a dwelling not made by hand, age-abiding in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)
Căci știm că dacă ar fi descompusă casa noastră pământească a tabernacolului, avem o clădire din Dumnezeu, o casă nefăcută de mâini, eternă în ceruri. (aiōnios g166)
2 And verily, in this, we sigh, earnestly desiring to clothe ourselves over, with our habitation which is of heaven, —
Fiindcă în aceasta gemem, dorind aprins a ne îmbrăca cu locașul nostru care este din cer,
3 Although, indeed, even clothing ourselves, we shall not be found, naked; —
[Și] dacă astfel suntem îmbrăcați nu vom fi găsiți goi.
4 And verily, we who are in the tent, do sigh, being weighed down, while yet we are not wishing to unclothe ourselves, but to clothe ourselves over, —in order that, what is mortal, may be swallowed up, by life.
Fiindcă noi care suntem în acest tabernacol gemem, fiind împovărați, nu pentru că dorim să fim dezbrăcați [de acest trup], ci să fim îmbrăcați [cu celălalt trup] peste acesta, pentru ca ce este muritor să fie înghițit de viață.
5 Now, he that hath wrought us for this very thing, is, God, —who hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit,
Și cel ce ne-a făcut chiar pentru aceasta, este Dumnezeu, care ne-a dat de asemenea arvuna Duhului;
6 Having good courage, therefore, at all times, and knowing that—remaining at home in the body, we are away from home from the Lord, —
De aceea și suntem întotdeauna cutezători, știind că în timp ce suntem acasă în trup, suntem absenți de la Domnul;
7 By faith, are we walking, not by sight; —
(Fiindcă umblăm prin credință, nu prin vedere),
8 We have good courage, however, and are well pleased—rather to be away from home, out of the body, and to come home, unto the Lord.
Suntem cutezători, spun, și mai degrabă doritori să fim absenți din trup și să fim prezenți cu Domnul.
9 Wherefore also we are ambitious—whether at home, or away from home, to be, well-pleasing unto him.
De aceea ostenim ca, fie prezenți, fie absenți, să fim plăcuți lui.
10 For, we all, must needs be made manifest before the judgment seat of the Christ, that each one may get back the things done by means of the body, according to the things which he practised, whether good or corrupt.
Fiindcă noi toți trebuie să ne arătăm înaintea scaunului de judecată al lui Cristos, pentru ca fiecare să primească cele făcute în trup, conform cu ce a practicat, fie bine, fie rău.
11 Knowing, then, the fear of the Lord, we persuade, men, but, unto God, are manifest, —I hope, moreover, even in your consciences, that we are manifest:
De aceea cunoscând teroarea Domnului, convingem pe oameni; dar suntem făcuți cunoscuți lui Dumnezeu; și mă încred că suntem făcuți cunoscuți și în conștiințele voastre.
12 Not again, ourselves, do we commend unto you, but as though an occasion we were giving unto you—something to boast of, in our behalf; that ye may have something suited unto them who, in appearance, are boasting, and not in heart.
Fiindcă nu ne recomandăm pe noi înșine vouă din nou, ci vă dăm ocazia să vă lăudați referitor la noi, ca să aveți cu ce răspunde acelora care se laudă cu înfățișarea și nu cu inima.
13 For, whether we have been beside ourselves, it hath been for God, or, whether we are sober-minded, it is for you.
Căci dacă ne-am ieșit din minți, este pentru Dumnezeu, sau dacă suntem cumpătați, este pentru voi.
14 For, the love of the Christ, constraineth us; —
Fiindcă dragostea lui Cristos ne constrânge; deoarece judecăm astfel, că dacă unul singur a murit pentru toți, atunci toți au murit,
15 Having judged this, —that, one, in behalf of all, died, hence, they all, died; and, in behalf of all, died he, —in order that, they who live, no longer for themselves, should live, but for him who, in their behalf, died and rose again.
Și a murit pentru toți, pentru ca toți cei ce trăiesc să nu mai trăiască de acum înainte pentru ei înșiși, ci pentru cel ce a murit pentru ei și a înviat.
16 So that, we, henceforth, know, no one, after the flesh: if we have even been gaining, after the flesh, a knowledge of Christ,
Așa că de acum înainte noi nu mai cunoaștem pe nimeni conform cărnii; da, deși l-am cunoscut pe Cristos conform cărnii, totuși de acum înainte nu îl mai cunoaștem.
17 On the contrary, now, no longer, are we gaining it. So that, if any one is in Christ, there is a new creation! the old things, have passed away, —Lo! they have become new!
De aceea dacă este cineva în Cristos, este o creatură nouă, cele vechi au trecut; iată, toate au devenit noi.
18 The all things, moreover, are of God, —who hath reconciled us unto himself, through Christ, and hath given, unto us, the reconciling ministry: —
Și toate sunt din Dumnezeu, care ne-a împăcat cu el însuși prin Isus Cristos și ne-a dat serviciul împăcării;
19 How that, God, was in Christ, reconciling, a world, unto himself, not reckoning, unto them, their offences, —and hath put, in us, the reconciling discourse.
Anume că, Dumnezeu era în Cristos, împăcând lumea cu sine, neimputându-le fărădelegile lor; și ne-a încredințat cuvântul împăcării.
20 In behalf of Christ, therefore, are we ambassadors, —as if God were beseeching through us: we entreat, in behalf of Christ, —be reconciled unto God!
De aceea suntem ambasadori pentru Cristos; ca și cum Dumnezeu v-ar implora prin noi, vă rugăm în numele lui Cristos: Împăcați-vă cu Dumnezeu.
21 Him who knew not sin, in our behalf, he made to be, sin, that we might become God’s righteousness in him.
Fiindcă pe cel ce nu a cunoscut păcat, l-a făcut păcat pentru noi, ca noi să fim făcuți dreptatea lui Dumnezeu în el.
