< 2 Chronicles 1 >
1 And Solomon, son of David, strengthened himself over his kingdom, —and, Yahweh, his God, was with him, and made him surpassingly great.
Napatibker ti panagturay ni Solomon a putot a lalaki ni David, ken adda kenkuana ni Yahweh a Diosna ket pinabilegna isuna iti kasta unay.
2 And Solomon gave word to all Israel—to the rulers of thousands, and hundreds, and to the judges, and to all the leaders of all Israel, ancestral chiefs;
Nakisarita ni Solomon iti entero nga Israel, kadagiti pangulo dagiti rinibu ken ginasut a soldado, kadagiti ukom, ken iti tunggal prinsipe iti entero nga Israel, kadagiti ulo dagiti balay dagiti amma.
3 and Solomon, and all the convocation with him, went to the high place that was in Gibeon, —for, there, was the tent of meeting of God, which Moses the servant of Yahweh made in the desert.
Isu a napan ni Solomon ken ti amin a taripnong a kaduana iti pagdaydayawan nga adda idiay Gabaon ta adda sadiay ti tolda a pakiumanan iti Dios, nga inaramid ti adipen ni Yahweh a ni Moises, idiay let-ang.
4 Howbeit, the ark of God, had David brought up from Kiriath-jearim, into the place that David had prepared for it, —for he had pitched for it a tent, in Jerusalem.
Ngem ti lakasa ti Dios nga adda idiay Kiriat Jearim ket impan ni David iti lugar nga insagana para iti daytoy, ta nangibangon isuna iti maysa a tolda para iti daytoy idiay Jerusalem.
5 Also, the altar of bronze that Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur had made, was there before the habitation of Yahweh, —so Solomon and the convocation sought it.
Kasta met, ti bronse nga altar nga inaramid ni Bezalel a lalaki a putot ni Uri a lalaki a putot ni Hur, ket adda iti sangoanan ti tabernakulo ni Yahweh; napan sadiay ni Solomon ken ti taripnong.
6 And Solomon went up thither, unto the altar of bronze before Yahweh, which belonged to the tent of meeting, —and caused to go up thereon a thousand ascending-sacrifices.
Simmang-at ni Solomon iti ayan ti bronse nga altar iti sangoanan ni Yahweh, nga adda iti tolda a pakiumanan, ket nangidatag iti sangaribu a daton a maipuor iti rabaw daytoy.
7 During that night, God appeared unto Solomon, —and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.
Nagparang ti Dios kenni Solomon iti dayta a rabii ket kinunana kenkuana, “Agkiddawka! Ania ti rumbeng nga itedko kenka?”
8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou thyself, didst deal with David my father in great lovingkindness, —and hast made me king in his stead.
Kinuna ni Solomon iti Dios, “Impakitam ti naindaklan a kinapudnom iti tulagmo kenni David nga amak, ket pinagbalinnak nga ari a kasukatna.
9 Now, O Yahweh Elohim, let thy word with David my father be brought to pass, -for, thou, hast made me king over a people, for multitude like the dust of the earth.
Ita, O Yahweh a Dios, tungpalem koma dagiti karim iti amak a ni David, ta pinagbalinnak nga ari dagiti tattao a kas iti tapok iti daga ti kaaduda.
10 Now, wisdom and knowledge, give thou unto me, that I may go out before this people, and may come in, —for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?
Ita, ikkannak koma iti kinasirib ken pannakaammo, tapno maidauloak dagitoy a tattao, ta siasino ti makabael a mangukom kadagiti tattaom a nakaad-adu unay?”
11 And God said unto Solomon, Because this was near thy heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, or the life of them that hate thee, nor even, many days, hast thou asked, —but hast asked for thyself, wisdom and knowledge, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king,
Kinuna ti Dios kenni Solomon, “Gapu ta dayta ti adda iti pusom, ken saanka a dimmawat iti kinabaknang, sanikua, wenno dayaw, wenno ti biag dagiti manggurgura kenka, wenno atiddog a panagbiagmo—ngem gapu ta nagkiddawka iti kinasirib ken pannakaammo, tapno maiturayam dagiti tattaok, a nangisaadak kenka a kas ari—
12 wisdom and knowledge, are granted unto thee, —moreover, riches and wealth and honour, will I give thee, such as the kings who were before thee did not possess, neither shall they who come after thee possess the like.
Maiteden kenka ti kinasirib ken pannakaammo; ikkanka pay iti kinabaknang, sanikua, ken dayaw, a nalablabes ngem iti adda iti siasinoman kadagiti ari sakbay kenka, ken nalablabes ngem kadagiti ari a sumarunonto kenka.”
13 And Solomon came from the high place that was in Gibeon unto Jerusalem, from before the tent of meeting, —and reigned over Israel.
Isu a napan ni Solomon iti Jerusalem manipud iti pagdaydayawan nga adda idiay Gabaon, manipud iti sangoanan ti tolda a pakiumanan; inturayanna ti Israel.
14 And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen, and came to have a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, —and he settled them in chariot cities, and with the king, in Jerusalem.
Inummong ni Solomon dagiti karuahe ken kumakabalio: ket addaan isuna iti 1, 400 a karuahe ken 12, 000 a kumakabalio nga inkabilna kadagiti siudad a pakaikabkabilan dagiti karuahe, ken iti ayanna, ti ari ti Jerusalem.
15 And the king made silver and gold in Jerusalem, like stones, and, cedars, made he like the sycomores that are in the lowland, for abundance.
Pinagbalin ti ari dagiti pirak ken balitok a gagangay laeng idiay Jerusalem a kas iti bato, ken pinagbalinna dagiti kayo a sedro a gagangay laeng a kas kadagiti kayo ti sikamoro nga adda kadagiti nababa a daga.
16 And the horses which Solomon had were, an export, out of Egypt, —and a, company of royal merchants, used to fetch a drove, at a price;
Maipanggep iti panagangkat kadagiti kabalio manipud iti Egipto ken Kue para kenni Solomon, gatgatangen dagitoy dagiti agtagtagilakona manipud iti Kue iti nangina a gatad.
17 and they built and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot, for six hundred [shekels] of silver, and a horse, for a hundred and fifty, -and, so, for all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria, by their means, brought they them forth.
Innem a gasut a siklo a pirak ti panaggatangda iti maysa a karuahe manipud iti Egipto, ken 150 a siklo met ti panaggatangda iti maysa a kabalio. Inlakoda met dagitoy kadagiti ari ti Heteo ken kadagiti Arameo.
