2 Chronicles 29
1 And, Hezekiah, began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and, twenty-nine years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Abijah, daughter of Zechariah.
Jehiskia wurde König, als er fünfundzwanzig Jahre alt war, und er regierte neunundzwanzig Jahre zu Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Abija, die Tochter Sekarjas.
2 And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that, David his father, had done.
Und er tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovas, nach allem, was sein Vater David getan hatte.
3 He, in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, and repaired them.
Im ersten Jahre seiner Regierung, im ersten Monat, öffnete er die Türen des Hauses Jehovas und besserte sie aus.
4 And he brought in the priests, and the Levites, —and gathered them together in the broadway on the east;
Und er ließ die Priester und die Leviten kommen und versammelte sie auf dem Platze gegen Osten,
5 and said unto them, Hear me, O Levites! Now, hallow yourselves, and hallow the house of Yahweh, God of your fathers, and take forth the impure thing out of the holy place.
und er sprach zu ihnen: Höret mich, ihr Leviten! Heiliget euch nun, und heiliget das Haus Jehovas, des Gottes eurer Väter, und bringet die Unreinigkeit aus dem Heiligtum hinaus.
6 For our fathers have acted unfaithfully and done the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken him, -and have turned round their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and have offered their backs.
Denn unsere Väter haben treulos gehandelt und getan, was böse ist in den Augen Jehovas, unseres Gottes, und haben ihn verlassen; und sie haben ihr Angesicht von der Wohnung Jehovas abgewandt und ihr den Rücken zugekehrt;
7 Moreover they have shut up the doors of the porch, and have quenched the lamps, and, incense, have they not burned, -and, ascending-sacrifice, have they not caused to go up in the holy place, unto the God of Israel.
auch haben sie die Türen der Halle verschlossen, und die Lampen ausgelöscht, und dem Gott Israels kein Räucherwerk geräuchert und kein Brandopfer im Heiligtum dargebracht.
8 Thus hath it come to pass, that, the wrath of Yahweh, hath been upon Judah and Jerusalem, —and he hath delivered them up as a terror and as an astonishment and as hissing, even as, ye, can see with your own eyes.
Und der Zorn Jehovas ist über Juda und Jerusalem gekommen, und er hat sie der Mißhandlung, der Verwüstung und dem Gezisch hingegeben, wie ihr mit euren Augen sehet.
9 And lo! our fathers have fallen by the sword, and, our sons and our daughters and our wives, are in captivity for this.
Und siehe, deswegen sind unsere Väter durch das Schwert gefallen, und unsere Söhne und unsere Töchter und unsere Weiber sind in Gefangenschaft.
10 Now, is it near my heart, to solemnise a covenant unto Yahweh, God of Israel, —that he may turn from him the glow of his anger.
Nun ist es in meinem Herzen, einen Bund zu machen mit Jehova, dem Gott Israels, daß die Glut seines Zornes sich von uns abwende.
11 My sons! now, do not be faulty, —for, of you, hath Yahweh made choice, to stand before him, and to wait upon him, and to be his attendants and burners of incense.
Meine Söhne, seid nun nicht lässig; denn euch hat Jehova erwählt, um vor ihm zu stehen, daß ihr ihm dienet, und um seine Diener und Räucherer zu sein.
12 Then arose the Levites—Mahath son of Amasai, and Joel son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites, and, of the sons of Merari, Kish son of Abdi, and Azariah son of Jehallelel, —and, of the Gershonites, Joah son of Zimmah, and Eden son of Joah;
Da machten sich die Leviten auf: Machath, der Sohn Amasais, und Joel, der Sohn Asarjas, von den Söhnen der Kehathiter; und von den Söhnen Meraris: Kis, der Sohn Abdis, und Asarja, der Sohn Jehallelels; und von den Gersonitern: Joach, der Sohn Simmas, und Eden, der Sohn Joachs;
13 and, of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeiel, —and, of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah, and Mattaniah;
und von den Söhnen Elizaphans: Schimri und Jeghiel; und von den Söhnen Asaphs: Sekarja und Mattanja;
14 and, of the sons of Heman, Jehiel and Shimei, —and, of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah, and Uzziel;
und von den Söhnen Hemans: Jechiel und Simei; und von den Söhnen Jeduthuns: Schemaja und Ussiel.
15 and they gathered together their brethren, who hallowed themselves, and came in according to the command of the king, in the things of Yahweh, —to purify the house of Yahweh.
Und sie versammelten ihre Brüder und heiligten sich; und sie kamen nach dem Gebot des Königs, den Worten Jehovas gemäß, um das Haus Jehovas zu reinigen.
16 So the priests entered into the inner part of the house of Yahweh, to make purification, and they brought out every unclean thing which they found in the temple of Yahweh, into the court of the house of Yahweh, —where the Levites received it, to carry it forth to the Kidron ravine outside.
Und die Priester gingen in das Innere des Hauses Jehovas, um es zu reinigen; und sie brachten alle Unreinigkeit, die sie in dem Tempel Jehovas fanden, in den Hof des Hauses Jehovas hinaus; und die Leviten nahmen sie auf, um sie an den Bach Kidron hinauszubringen.
17 And they began, on the first of the first month, to hallow, —and, on the eighth day of the month, they came to the porch of Yahweh, so they hallowed the house of Yahweh in eight days, —and, on the sixteenth day of the first month, they finished.
Und sie fingen am Ersten des ersten Monats an zu heiligen; und am achten Tage des Monats kamen sie in die Halle Jehovas und heiligten das Haus Jehovas acht Tage lang; und am sechzehnten Tage des ersten Monats waren sie fertig.
18 Then came they in unto Hezekiah the king, and said, We have purified all the house of Yahweh, —the altar of ascending-sacrifice, and all the utensils thereof, and the table for setting in array, and all the utensils thereof.
Und sie gingen zu dem König Hiskia hinein und sprachen: Wir haben das ganze Haus Jehovas gereinigt, und den Brandopferaltar und alle seine Geräte und den Tisch der Schichtbrote und alle seine Geräte.
19 And, all the utensils which King Ahaz in his reign rejected when he acted unfaithfully, have we made ready and hallowed, —and, there they are, before the altar of Yahweh.
Und alle Geräte, die der König Ahas während seiner Regierung in seiner Treulosigkeit entweiht hat, haben wir hergerichtet und geheiligt; und siehe, sie sind vor dem Altar Jehovas.
20 So Hezekiah the king rose up early, and gathered together the rulers of the city, —and went up to the house of Yahweh.
Und der König Jehiskia machte sich früh auf und versammelte die Obersten der Stadt, und er ging hinauf in das Haus Jehovas.
21 And they brought in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven young sheep, and seven he-goats for bearing sin, for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah, —and he bade the sons of Aaron, the priests, cause them to ascend upon the altar of Yahweh.
Und sie brachten sieben Farren und sieben Widder und sieben Schafe, und sieben Ziegenböcke zum Sündopfer, für das Königreich und für das Heiligtum und für Juda. Und er befahl den Söhnen Aarons, den Priestern, sie auf dem Altar Jehovas zu opfern.
22 So they slaughtered the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and dashed it against the altar, —and they slaughtered the rams, and dashed the blood against the altar, and slaughtered the young sheep, and dashed the blood against the altar.
Und sie schlachteten die Rinder, und die Priester nahmen das Blut auf und sprengten es an den Altar; und sie schlachteten die Widder und sprengten das Blut an den Altar; und sie schlachteten die Schafe und sprengten das Blut an den Altar.
23 And they brought near the he-goats for bearing sin, before the king, and the convocation, —and they leaned their hands upon them;
Und sie brachten die Böcke des Sündopfers herzu vor den König und die Versammlung, und sie legten ihre Hände auf dieselben.
24 and the priests slaughtered them, and sin-cleansed, with their blood, the altar, to put a propitiatory-covering over all Israel, -because, for all Israel, did the king appoint the ascending-sacrifice and the offering for bearing sin.
Und die Priester schlachteten sie und taten ihr Blut zur Entsündigung an den Altar, um für ganz Israel Sühnung zu tun; denn für ganz Israel hatte der König das Brandopfer und das Sündopfer befohlen.
25 And he caused the Levites to stand in the house of Yahweh, with cymbals and with harps and with lyres, by the commandment of David, and of Gad the seer of the king, and of Nathan the prophet, —for, by the hand of Yahweh, came the commandment by the hand of his prophets.
Und er stellte die Leviten auf im Hause Jehovas, mit Zimbeln, mit Harfen und mit Lauten, nach dem Gebote Davids und Gads, des Sehers des Königs, und Nathans, des Propheten; denn das Gebot war durch Jehova, durch seine Propheten.
26 So the Levites took their stand, with the instruments of David, and the priests, with the trumpets.
Und die Leviten standen da mit den Instrumenten Davids, und die Priester mit den Trompeten.
27 And Hezekiah gave word, to cause the ascending-sacrifice to go up on the altar, —and, when the ascending-sacrifice began, the singing unto Yahweh began, and the trumpets, even under the direction of the instruments of David, king of Israel.
Und Hiskia befahl, das Brandopfer auf dem Altar zu opfern. Und zur Zeit, als das Brandopfer anfing, begann der Gesang Jehovas und die Trompeten, und zwar unter Begleitung der Instrumente Davids, des Königs von Israel.
28 And, all the convocation, were bowing themselves in prostration, and, the song, was resounding and the trumpets were blowing, -the whole, until the completing of the ascending-sacrifice.
Und die ganze Versammlung betete an, und der Gesang erscholl, und die Trompeten schmetterten; alles das währte bis zur Vollendung des Brandopfers.
29 And, when the offering was complete, the king knelt down and all who were present with him, and bowed themselves in prostration.
Und als man das Opfern des Brandopfers vollendet hatte, beugten sich der König und alle, die sich bei ihm befanden, und beteten an.
30 And Hezekiah the king and the rulers gave word to the Levites, to offer praise unto Yahweh, in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, —so they offered praise right joyfully, and bent their heads and bowed themselves in prostration.
Und der König Jehiskia und die Obersten sagten zu den Leviten, daß sie Jehova lobsingen sollten mit den Worten Davids und Asaphs, des Sehers. Und sie lobsangen mit Freude und neigten sich und beteten an.
31 Then responded Hezekiah and said—Now, have ye consecrated yourselves unto Yahweh. Draw near, and bring in sacrifices and thank-offerings unto the house of Yahweh, -So the convocation brought sacrifices and thank-offerings, and, everyone of a willing heart, [brought] ascending-sacrifices.
Und Jehiskia hob an und sprach: Nun habt ihr euch Jehova geweiht; tretet herzu und bringet Schlachtopfer und Dankopfer zum Hause Jehovas. Und die Versammlung brachte Schlachtopfer und Dankopfer, und jeder, der willigen Herzens war, brachte Brandopfer.
32 And it came to pass that, the number of ascending-sacrifices which the convocation brought, was—seventy bullocks, and a hundred rams, and two hundred young sheep, —as an ascending-sacrifice unto Yahweh, all these.
Und die Zahl der Brandopfer, welche die Versammlung brachte, war: siebzig Rinder, hundert Widder, zweihundert Schafe; alle diese zum Brandopfer für Jehova.
33 But, the hallowed beasts, were six hundred bullocks, and three thousand sheep.
Und der Geheiligten waren: sechshundert Rinder und dreitausend Schafe.
34 Only, the priests, were too few, and were unable to flay all the ascending-sacrifices, —so their brethren the Levites strengthened them, until the work was complete and until the priests had hallowed themselves, for, the Levites, were more upright in heart to hallow themselves, than the priests.
Nur waren der Priester zu wenig, so daß sie nicht allen Brandopfern die Haut abziehen konnten; und so unterstützten sie ihre Brüder, die Leviten, bis das Werk vollendet war, und bis die Priester sich geheiligt hatten; denn die Leviten waren redlichen Herzens, sich zu heiligen, mehr als die Priester.
35 Moreover also, the ascending-sacrifices, were in abundance, with the fat portions of the peace-offerings, and with the drink-offerings to every ascending-sacrifice, -thus was established the service of the house of Yahweh.
Aber der Brandopfer war auch eine Menge, mit den Fettstücken der Friedensopfer und mit den Trankopfern für die Brandopfer. Und so wurde der Dienst des Hauses Jehovas eingerichtet.
36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because God had established it for the people, —for, suddenly, had the thing come about.
Und Jehiskia und das ganze Volk freuten sich über das, was Gott dem Volke bereitet hatte; denn die Sache war plötzlich geschehen.
