< 1 Timothy 5 >

1 An elderly man, do not thou reprimand, but beseech him, as [though he were thy] father, —younger men, as brothers,
Wasiga okulundumila omukaruka. Tali umusimbagilishe omwoyo kuti ni esomwana. Nusimbagilishe omwoyo abhasigaji kuti ni bhamula bhanyu.
2 Elderly women, as mothers, younger women, as sisters, in all chastity.
Usimbagilishe omwoyo abhagasi abhakokolo kuti nibha nyokomwana, na abhagasi bhanu bhachali kwikula bhabhe kuti bhayala bhanyu kwisima lyona.
3 Widows, honour thou—who indeed are widows: —
Nuyane echibhalo abhagasi abhafwilwa, bhanu bhafwiliwe chimali mali.
4 Howbeit, if, any widow, hath, children or grandchildren, let them be learning—first, unto their own house, to be shewing reverence, and, returns, to be making unto their progenitors; for, this, is acceptable before God;
5 But, she who is indeed a widow, and is left alone, hath turned her hope towards God, and is giving attendance unto the supplications and the prayers, night and day, —
Omugasi omusigwa ni unu asigilwe kuluyando wenyele. Omugasi nkoyo ubhwisige bhwaye bhuli ku Nyamuanga. Omwene nsiku jona atulile kwisabhwa no okulembeleja mungeta na mumwisi.
6 Whereas, she that runneth riot, while living, is, dead:
Nolwo jili kutyo, omugasi unu ekaye kwo okunyenyega afuye, nolwo kutyo kalibhata ali muwanga.
7 And, these things, be giving in charge, that, without reproach, they may be;
Mbe ulashe amagambo ganu koleleki abhanu bhasiga okwikujula.
8 If, however, anyone, for his own, and specially them of his household, taketh not forethought, his faith, hath he denied, and is worse, than one without faith!
Tali omunu akabhula okusakila abhaili bhaye, muno muno abhaika owaye, omunu oyo alemele elikilisha na ni mubhibhi okukila unu atekilisishe.
9 Let, a widow, be put on the list—having become, not less than sixty years old, one man’s, wife,
Mbe omugasi unu afwiliwe omulume, andikwe muchitabho cha abhasigwa akakingya myaka makumi mukaga, na aliga atwalibhwe na mulume umwi.
10 In noble works, being well-attested; —if she hath nourished children, if she hath shewn hospitality, if, saints feet, she hath washed, if, them who were in tribulation, she hath succoured, if, in every good, work she hath followed on:
Na nibhusi bhusi abhe amenyekene ati ebhikolwa bhaye nibhyakisi, achumaga abhana, amo aliga nakumilila abhagenyi, amo aliga nosha amagulu ga abhekilisha, amo asakilaga bhanu bhaliga bhali munyako, hamo aliga nesosha kumulimu gwona gwona ogwekisi.
11 But, younger widows, decline thou; for, as soon as they wax wanton against the Christ, to marry, are they determined, —
Nawe abhagasi abhafwila bhanu bhachalimo obhuyalakaji, utabhandika mulwandiko lwa abhagasi abhafwila. Kulwokubha bhakanambaalila ejo omubhili okutasikana na Kristo, nibhenda okutwalwa.
12 Having, as sentence, —that, their first faith, they have set at nought;
Kunjila eyo abhengila muntambala, okubha abhatambuka okwisosha kwebhwe okwa kubhwambilo.
13 At the same time, to be idlers, are they learning, going about from house to house; and, not only idlers, but, gossips, also, and, busybodies, —saying the things they ought not,
Na abhengila muntungwa yo obhulenga. Nibheinda inda bhuli nyumba. Itali ati ni bhalenga ala, tali abhabha bhalomi bha abhanu no kwiingisha mumisango ja abhandi.
14 I am minded, therefore, that, the younger ones, marry, bear children, be mistress of the house, —giving, no single occasion, unto the opposer, as a cause, of reviling;
Kulwejo anye enenda abhagasi bhanu bhachali bhatwalwe, bhebhule abhana, bhombake emisi jebhwe, koleleki chitayana omusoko omwanya ogwo okuchitonganya chikakola ebhibhi.
15 For, already, some have turned aside after Satan:
Kulwokubha abhandi bhaindukiye ku Syetani.
16 If any, believing woman, hath widows, let her be giving them succour, and not suffer the assembly to be burdened, —that, them who are indeed widows, it may itself succour.
Labha omugasi wona wona omwikilisha ekaye na abhagasi abhafwilwa, mbe nabhasakile, koleleki likanisa lyasiga okukubhwa, koleleki litule okusakila abhasigwa chimwi chimwi.
17 Let, the well presiding elders, of double honour, be accounted worthy, especially they who toil in discourse and teaching;
Mbe abhakaluka bhanu abhatangasha kisi mubhayane echibhalo kwiya kabhili, muno muno bhanu abhakola emilimu jo okwiyigisha Omusango gwa Nyamuanga.
18 For the scripture saith—A threshing ox, shalt thou not muzzle, and—Worthy, is the workman, of his hire.
Kulwokubha Amandiko agaika ati, “Wasiga okubhoya ing'a omunwa ukasanga niyo nitaja taja obhulo akatungu ka liula,” no omukosi we emilimu jiile okuyanwa omuyelo gwaye.”
19 Against an elder, entertain not, an accusation, except at, [the mouth of] two, or three, witnesses;
Wasiga okulamila intongana yo omukaluka ukasanga bhatabhao bhamasaidi bhabhili hamo bhafu.
20 But, them who are sinning, before all, do thou reprove, that, the rest also, may have, fear: —
Nugonye bhanu abhakola ebhibhibhi imbele ya abhejabho koleleki bhanu bhachali okukola kutyo amo bhobhaye.
21 I adjure thee, before God, and Christ Jesus, and the chosen messengers, that, these things, thou observe, apart from prejudgment, doing, nothing, by partiality.
Enikulagilila chimwi imbele ya Nyamuanga, na imbele ya Yesu Kristo, na bhamalaika abhasolwa, ugabhike amalagililo ganu obhutabha na solole yona yona, na utakola musango gwona gwona kwo okusolola.
22 Hands, suddenly, upon no one, lay, neither have fellowship with sins of strangers: thyself, keep, chaste: —
Utatelakoga omunu wonawona amabhoko bhwangu bhwangu. Wasiga okwiswasha muchibhibhi cho omunu undi. Jikwiile witunje omwene ubhe wekisi.
23 No longer, be a water-drinker, but, of a little wine, make use, because of thy stomach and thy, frequent, sicknesses.
Utanywaga amanji genyele. Ukasiga amanji, unywega nomulamba mutoto kulwa injuno ya inda na amalwaye gawo aga bhuli mwanya.
24 Some men’s sins, are, openly evident, leading on into judgment, with some, however, they even follow after;
Ebhibhi bhya abhanu abhandi jili abhwelu na jimenyekene, jelabhileyo mundamu. Nawe ebhibhi ebhindi ebbhisoka inyuma.
25 In the same way, the noble works also, are openly evident, —and, they that are otherwise, cannot be hid.
Nikwo kutyo ona, emilimu ejindi ejekisi ejimenyekana bhwangu, nawe nolwo ejindi jitakwiseleka.
