< 1 Timothy 5 >
1 An elderly man, do not thou reprimand, but beseech him, as [though he were thy] father, —younger men, as brothers,

2 Elderly women, as mothers, younger women, as sisters, in all chastity.
Nyinza awari aneh kasi anino uwe, mabura kasi anu henu uwe alau.
3 Widows, honour thou—who indeed are widows: —
Nyinza akoro tinanu, akoro akadura.
4 Howbeit, if, any widow, hath, children or grandchildren, let them be learning—first, unto their own house, to be shewing reverence, and, returns, to be making unto their progenitors; for, this, is acceptable before God;
Abanna me ukoro sa mazin in ahana nyani anu uyarang, tonno wa tubu unyimza uti nanu anyimo anikura niweme, tonno wa garsa anu aweme, barki Asere ma kunna urinta unime.
5 But, she who is indeed a widow, and is left alone, hath turned her hope towards God, and is giving attendance unto the supplications and the prayers, night and day, —
Abanna okoro ukadura samazin in sisi umme, ma inko iriba imeme ahira Asere, kondi umaye ma patti nicce nimeme unu wuza uni kori nan biringara niye nan nu wui.
6 Whereas, she that runneth riot, while living, is, dead:
Abanna, uneh unu nyara uti cukum turonta mamu wono, sa ma zini ivai.
7 And, these things, be giving in charge, that, without reproach, they may be;
Ukuri ubui tize ti mumbarki ticiku imum uzatu cara uniza.
8 If, however, anyone, for his own, and specially them of his household, taketh not forethought, his faith, hath he denied, and is worse, than one without faith!
Abanna indaki unu marusa wuza anu ahenu uwe ire mum ige sa patti we ba, ana kura aweme sa wazi, wa nyari we kadura, imbari anu zatu u tarsa Asere nan me.
9 Let, a widow, be put on the list—having become, not less than sixty years old, one man’s, wife,
Ceki abati vana u eh ukoro de sa daki ma biki tiwe akure utarsi ba uneh unu inde.
10 In noble works, being well-attested; —if she hath nourished children, if she hath shewn hospitality, if, saints feet, she hath washed, if, them who were in tribulation, she hath succoured, if, in every good, work she hath followed on:
A rusi me inka tuma kare-re, nyani ma mahirii a hana a meme memereni, ma ku cukuno unu kabsa agenu, nyani unu kpijo uti buna tanu tarsa Asere, myini macukuno ubenki ande sa apatti we, ma inki iriba ahira ako ya katuma kare-re.
11 But, younger widows, decline thou; for, as soon as they wax wanton against the Christ, to marry, are they determined, —
Abanna ahira akoro be sa wada unu uhira, kati soki we anyimo anigo na koro, barki inki warizo anyimo a gmei maje manipum mage besa mazin inishina nan nu Ugomo asere wa nyari wa wuzi anya.
12 Having, as sentence, —that, their first faith, they have set at nought;
Unu ugino uni wa oro acce awe me ujoro barki vete utirza utize tu tuba.
13 At the same time, to be idlers, are they learning, going about from house to house; and, not only idlers, but, gossips, also, and, busybodies, —saying the things they ought not,
Ma me we iriba iku gbara, wazi nu kese ati kura tikura, azo agi ticukuno ti kugbara tini casba, abanna wa cukuno ana bi bukum, ana nyet, ana nye-nyet, wazinu ubo imum be sa daki ya wuna ba.
14 I am minded, therefore, that, the younger ones, marry, bear children, be mistress of the house, —giving, no single occasion, unto the opposer, as a cause, of reviling;
Barki ani me in nyara akoro ana hira wa wuzi anya, ya yozo ahana, wa benki akura, barki kati anya unu uburu ahira ubit uru uwuza imum izenze.
15 For, already, some have turned aside after Satan:
Barki aye wamu hurnewe wa tarsa unu uburu.
16 If any, believing woman, hath widows, let her be giving them succour, and not suffer the assembly to be burdened, —that, them who are indeed widows, it may itself succour.
Inki ure uneh unu uhem in kadura mazin ina okoro, ceki ma benki we, barki kati anya udenge wanu tarsa utize ta sere ubanki akoro akadura.
17 Let, the well presiding elders, of double honour, be accounted worthy, especially they who toil in discourse and teaching;
Acokoro be sa wazin intigomo ti re-re wa kem unonziko uhana kare, kusi ande be sa wazin inka tuma in na gogbura are-re nan nubezizi.
18 For the scripture saith—A threshing ox, shalt thou not muzzle, and—Worthy, is the workman, of his hire.
Abanna u inko utize waguna, “Kati u impi kapadari anyo ugniya sa kazin nu sutuka immare,” de sa ma wuza kaduma anyame ikirfi ime.
19 Against an elder, entertain not, an accusation, except at, [the mouth of] two, or three, witnesses;
Kati ukabi anyari ahira ucokoro inki yani unu ira cukuno waru hana wataru.
20 But, them who are sinning, before all, do thou reprove, that, the rest also, may have, fear: —
Ugbarka ana madini aje kodevi bati ukasu me ukunna biyyau.
21 I adjure thee, before God, and Christ Jesus, and the chosen messengers, that, these things, thou observe, apart from prejudgment, doing, nothing, by partiality.
Ma wuna we barki Asere, nan Ugomo Asere Yeso, nan ana kudura ka sere sa azaukawe tarsa timummu kati ugursa ahira nan nu be usassas.
22 Hands, suddenly, upon no one, lay, neither have fellowship with sins of strangers: thyself, keep, chaste: —
Kati uwuu dibe u tara uwe tari, kati uhaki anyimo a madini ma uwe, inta nicce nuwe mamerum.
23 No longer, be a water-drinker, but, of a little wine, make use, because of thy stomach and thy, frequent, sicknesses.
Kati ure aje ina sa gmei, abanna me abanna, anya anime saa gmei cinglin barki apuru awemezome ahuma ba.
24 Some men’s sins, are, openly evident, leading on into judgment, with some, however, they even follow after;
Madini ma aye maraa amasaa, wa wuza ishina anyimo u inko utize, abanna me aye wa madini mawe me matarsa we.
25 In the same way, the noble works also, are openly evident, —and, they that are otherwise, cannot be hid.
Ani mani, kare katuma kare-re kaweme ka matarsa we. Ani mani, kare katuma kare-re kaweme ka raa amasaa, abanna mare mada mazo me nihunzi ba.
