1 Thessalonians 1
1 Paul and Silvanus and Timothy—unto the assembly of Thessalonians in God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ, —favour unto you, and peace!
ⲁ̅ⲡⲁⲩⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲥⲓⲗⲟⲩⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲓⲙⲟⲑⲉⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲑⲉⲥⲥⲁⲗⲟⲛⲓⲕⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
2 We are giving thanks unto God continually, concerning you all, making, mention, in our prayers,
ⲃ̅ⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲛ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ.
3 Unceasingly, remembering—your work of faith and labour of love and endurance of hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father:
ⲅ̅ⲉⲛ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡϧⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ.
4 Knowing, brethren beloved by God, your election, —
ⲇ̅ⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲫϯ ⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲡ.
5 How that, our glad-message, came not unto you, in word only, but also in power, and in Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, —even as ye know what manner of men we became unto you, for your sake;
ⲉ̅ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲛⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏ ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲙϯ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ.
6 And, ye, became, imitators of us, and of the Lord, giving welcome unto the word, in much tribulation, with joy of Holy Spirit;
ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲡ⳪ ⳿ⲉⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϫϩⲉϫ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲣⲁϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ.
7 So that ye became an ensample unto all who were coming to the faith, in Macedonia and in Achaia:
ⲍ̅ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϩϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲁⲕⲉⲇⲟⲛⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲁⲭⲁⲓⲁ.
8 From you, in fact, hath sounded forth the word of the Lord—not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but, in every place, your faith which is toward God, hath gone forth, so that, no need, have we to be saying anything;
ⲏ̅ⲉⲧⲁ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪ ⲥⲱⲣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩ ⲙⲟⲛⲟⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲁⲕⲉⲇⲟⲛⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲁⲭⲁⲓⲁ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲙⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲧϩⲁ ⲫϯ ⲁϥⲥⲱⲣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣ⳿ⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ.
9 For, they themselves, concerning us, do tell—what manner of entrance we had unto you, and how ye turned unto God from the idols—to be serving a living and true God,
ⲑ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲉⲧ ⲑⲏ ⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲁ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
10 And awaiting his Son out of the heavens—whom he raised from among the dead, —Jesus: Who is to rescue us out of the anger that is coming.
ⲓ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲏ ⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲁϩⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⳿ⲡϫⲱⲛⲧ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ
