1 Thessalonians 5
1 But, concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, —ye have, no need, that, unto you, anything be written;

2 For, ye yourselves, perfectly well know—that, the day of the Lord, as a thief in the night, so, cometh;
Waayo, idinka qudhiinnuba qummaati baad u garanaysaan inay maalinta Rabbigu u imanayso sida tuug habeen u yimaado.
3 As soon as they begin to say—Peace! and safety! then, suddenly, upon them, cometh destruction, —just as the birth-throe unto her that is with child, —and in nowise shall they escape.
Markay leeyihiin, Waa nabad iyo salaamad, kolkaasaa filashola'aan halaaggu u qaban doonaa sida fooshu naag uur leh u qabato; iyaguna sinaba ugama baxsan doonaan.
4 But, ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that, the day, upon you, as upon thieves, should lay hold;
Laakiinse idinku, walaalayaalow, gudcur kuma jirtaan in maalintaasu sida tuug idiin qabato.
5 For, all ye, are, sons of light, and sons of day, —we are not of night, nor of darkness:
Waayo, kulligiin waxaad tihiin carruurta nuurka iyo carruurta maalinnimada, innagu ma nihin kuwa habeennimada iyo gudcurka;
6 Hence, then, let us not be sleeping, as the rest, but let us watch and be sober: —
sidaas daraaddeed yeynan seexan sida kuwa kale yeelaan, laakiinse aan soo jeedno oo aan feeyignaanno.
7 For, they that sleep, by night, do sleep, and, they that drink, by night, do drink: —
Waayo, kuwa seexdaa habeenkay seexdaan, kuwa sakhraamaana habeenkay sakhraamaan.
8 But, we, being of the day, let us be sober, putting on a breastplate of faith and love, and, for helmet, the hope of salvation.
Laakiin innagoo kuwa maalinta ah aan feeyignaanno, oo gashanno hubka laabta oo rumaysadka iyo jacaylka ah iyo koofiyadda rajada badbaadada ah.
9 Because God did not appoint us unto anger, but unto acquiring salvation through our Lord Jesus [Christ]: —
Waayo, Ilaah inooma uu dooran cadhada, laakiinse wuxuu inoo doortay inaynu ku badbaadno Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix,
10 Who died for us, in order that, whether we be watching or sleeping, together with him, we should live.
kan inoo dhintay, inaynu la wada noolaanno isaga, haddaynu nool nahay iyo haddaynu dhimannoba.
11 Wherefore be consoling one another, and building up, each the other, —even as ye are also doing.
Sidaas daraaddeed midkiinba midka kale ha dhiirrigeliyo oo ha dhiso sidaad yeelaysaan oo kale.
12 Now we request you, brethren, —to know them who are toiling among you, and presiding over you, in the Lord, and admonishing you;
Laakiinse waxaannu idinka baryaynaa, walaalayaalow, inaad maamuustaan kuwa idinku dhex hawshooda, oo xagga Rabbiga idinkaga sarreeya oo idinla taliya;
13 And to hold them in very high esteem, in love, their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves,
oo aad iyaga aad iyo aad jacayl ugu derejaysaan shuqulkooda aawadiis. Nabad ku wada jooga.
14 But we exhort you, brethren—admonish the disorderly, soothe them of little soul, help the weak, be longsuffering towards all:
Oo waannu idin waaninaynaa, walaalayaalow, Kuwa si aan hagaagsanayn u socda la taliya, oo kuwa qalbi jabay dhiirigeliya, oo kuwa itaalka yar garab siiya, oo dadka oo dhanna u dulqaata.
15 See that none, evil for evil, unto any, do render: but, evermore, what is good, be pursuing, towards one another, and towards all:
Iska jira inaan midkiinna midka kale shar shar uga celin; laakiinse kol kasta wax wanaagsan ha ugu dadaalo, oo dadka oo dhanna ha ugu dadaalo.
16 Evermore, rejoice,
Had iyo goorba farxa.
17 Unceasingly, pray,
Joogsila'aanna tukada.
18 In everything, give thanks, —for, this, is a thing willed of God, in Christ Jesus, towards you:
Wax walbana mahad ka naqa, waayo, taasu waxay idiin tahay doonista Ilaah xagga Ciise Masiix.
19 The Spirit, do not quench,
Ruuxa ha deminina.
20 Prophesyings, do not despise,
Wax sii sheegiddana ha quudhsanina.
21 [But], all things, put to the proof—what is comely, hold ye fast:
Wax walba tijaabiya, waxa fiicanna xajiya.
22 From every form of wickedness, abstain.
Wax kasta oo shar u egna ka fogaada.
23 But, the God of peace himself, hallow you completely, and, entire, might your spirit, and soul, and body, —[so as to be] unblameable in the Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, —be preserved!
Ilaaha nabadda qudhiisu quduus ha idinka wada dhigo, oo ruuxiinna iyo naftiinna iyo jidhkiinna dhammaan ha la wada ilaaliyo, iyagoo ceeb la' markii Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix yimaado.
24 Faithful, is he that is calling you, —who, also will perform.
Kan idiin yeedhaa waa aamin, wuuna samayn doonaa.
25 Brethren! be praying for us [also].
Walaalayaalow, noo soo duceeya.
26 Salute all the brethren with a holy kiss.
Walaalaha oo dhanna dhunkasho quduus ah ku salaama.
27 I adjure you, by the Lord, that the letter be read unto all the brethren!
Rabbigaan idinku dhaarinayaaye, Warqaddan ha loo akhriyo walaalaha oo dhan.
28 The favour of our Lord Jesus Christ, be with you.
Nimcada Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix ha idinla jirto.
